Just gotta say the obvious, that the cadence in the sentences is a startling and refreshing new approach to story telling, very effective. The script is really excellent, too.
Tragic story. It had to be so scary to leave him and try to find help, then she took a tumble. My goodness this one was def anxiety inducing. Thank you for the video.
Looking at a picture of a seemingly bare mountain, in good weather, it's easy to forget how much the mountain's own bumps and crevices can hide the view for a searcher looking for a lost person. It's sad to think about someone having survived a fall, lying injured, probably knowing that even if the other person who went to try to get help, did successfully reach safety, it will most likely still be too late for you.
I live in Newfoundland and Labrador and I've never heard of this mountain or this tragedy! But knowing the weather in Northern Labrador, I'd never want to be near it
My rules for climbing mountains. 1. Don't climb them if there are technical sections. 2. Don't climb them in the winter. 3. Don't climb them if they are more than four hours walk from a town. 4. Don't climb them if the skies are not clear. 5. Don't climb them without navigational aids. Follow these rules and you won't ever be the subject of a Morbid Midnight video.
Morbid assumed we thought that the summiting attempts sharply declined after the first ascent. But we all know the mountain would have to be in the Karakorum Range for that.
This is part of the Torngat mountains National park . Very Remote area only accessible by Air or a lengthy Boat Trip. Very Beautiful undisturbed Wilderness , rugged Terrain , Tundra and Wildflowers in the Summer , even the Polar Bear is wandering thru the area .
Good morning! Have a great shift. Thank you for being a life saver but even for your nursing alone is important enough. Hopefully this will be a less dramatic shift for you & any lifesaving can come from Morbid Midnight. A great channel that always regularly turns out quality content. Thank you both! ( Wow. How can I get a thank you?🤔, that's right!☝️😳, Im not here for thank you's,😂😆👍).
As a kid, I told my dad that the 7 highest were cliched and that to be different, I’d climb the 2nd highest peaks on each continent. That’s the only time I’ve seen him really scared.
SUGGESTIONS for expanding your channel subjects: There's hiking incidents (accidents & disappearances & sadly deaths & murders on some trails), accidents that happen at sea (that aren't centered around diving), and accidents that happen for other "thrill-seeking" adventurers such as skydiving, base-jumping, free-running, and parkour, skiing/snowboarding, dirt bike riding, x-gaming/x-games accidents, car racing accidents, and many, many others. You have a nice name for your channel that would allow you to broaden the subjects. You could also cover natural disasters: avalanches, mudslides, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, floods (rivers/lakes), forest fires, snow storms, severe winter storms, flashfloods, and earthquakes. I know these subjects aren't what you've covered in the past and I don't know if you wish to expand but if you do, I thought that the above might be helpful. I hope you stick around. I love your channel and I know the stories are getting harder to come by so maybe if you expand a bit more that would help you. Don't spread yourself too thin or get burnt out. You're really good at this but I understand if you only want to focus on a narrow specialized niche. Keep up the good work but don't work yourself into the ground. Thank you for all of your hard work. Good luck!
I love your videos... But you gotta work on your narration. There is a noticeable pause between words like every few seconds. It's like you say 3-5 words.... PAUSE.....3-5 words... PAUSE....3-5 words....PAUSE. What's up with that?
I know one should NOT/NEVER judge a book by its cover but ... ... ... Take a good gander @Daniel Pauze's body and shape ... My Farmhand Girlfriend could bench press him out of existence . There ... He should have stuck to gender studies .
Bro thank you for staying legit and not fill your videos with adds.
or subtracts

She must have had almost zero visibility because he made it sound like she just walked off the edge.

Geez, I’m Canadian and I had never heard about this! Didn’t even know that this mountain peak existed!
Richard from South Africa and totally enjoying your climbing stories. Fascinating, informative, gripping. Thank you !!
Man, where do you find so many incidents in so much detail in so many places and backstory? It's honestly always impressive.
There is endless mountaineering literature.

I've been waiting for this one. Thanks !
I was looking at random islands on Google earth and found this island and now I'm watching this lol
I love these videos!
Morbid brightens up my day with great stories.
Good morbid!
These stories are very well done.
Really appreciate your research finding new cases🎉
It might be 5AM EST but its definitely midnight SOMEWHERE!
I will never be eaten by a shark, perish cave diving or expire climbing a mountain, these are things that certainly will not happen to me.

Brilliant video from the narrator and great story
Another great Mountaineering review. . . . . . Thank you for reading.
Mississau-GA, not GWA. Nice video!
What a horrible way for both people to die, my goodness. At least their families got the closure they needed.

A Morbid Midnight upload at 5:00 AM EST?! You’re 5 hours late man, but, as always, it’s worth the wait!
It's midnight somewhere, every hour on the hour😉
Love these videos ! Great pictures and narration ! ❤
I am so glad that Goetze spelled his name the way he did.
been a longtime watcher of the channel. today i had a showerthought that you should change the name of the channel to Morbid Mountain haha. cheers

Aug 2024 was the rescue? It sounded like that was stated at least twice. Are the years shifted +1 ?
I would be massively freaked out by the presence of so many polar bears in the region
loved this one!
Did Mr. Midnight sound a little sleepy in this video? I kept catching myself saying come on pick up the pace.
Good Morning 🎉
Good morbid! 😀
Christopher.. what??
The two steps up to my front door are more than enough for me
Are you living in NH at all ? You’ve done a lot of cases from here I’ve never seeen on TH-cam
So, aint very high, it in the middle of nowhere, but hard. And Bigfoot good on it.
The Torngat Mountains in Labrador are pretty amazing.
Our narrator talks this way because the baby is sleeping, he is trying to talk quietly. He explains in a different video.
ON OUR WAY TO 75K!!!
omg newfoundland mention
Why am I only just getting the notification of a new upload? 😂
If they had only summited a day earlier. So tragic😞
The weather in the mountains can change quickly for the worse...many times even with Doppler radar, they can't see it coming. Good video.
Christopher what?
I think it’s actually pronounced “Getz”
