Take into consideration that she released this video cover 11 days after Adele released the song. This is pretty damned good for having just 11 days or less to do it, especially at 15. She released a Tik Tok video, singing it just 6 hours after Adele released it.
Yo dont worry its just 99% have the opposite opinion that AJ is better with her warm tone as opposed to Adeles nail-scratchy metalic tone. There is a mash up vid to compare voices. And I for one perfer AJs warmth than the cold metalic sound from Adele. But Adele is one of AJs favs.

Hey, my friend, I didn't say you said she sounded bad. It is just I have been following Angelina for 10 years and I have never noticed her having any problem with low notes or tones! Many professional musicians and professional voice teachers have commented about her low register and how easily she handles low tones. She is a natural contralto and very often has gone lower (with no difficulty) than the lowest note in this song! I would just like to know exactly what it was that you saw that caused you to think she was have some difficulty with the low parts to the song. At some point just before or right after her 13th birthday she did a cover of Whitney's song "I Have Nothing" in the same key as Whitney did it when she recorded it! Since then Angelina has done the song several times, always in a lower key because of having a naturally lower voice especially as she has gotten older! Each time she has done it her range was always the same just in a lower key! Again the fact that you found something that made you think she was having some difficulty with the low tones was just a total shock to me, and I wanted to hear what gave you the impression she was having difficulty!
If you want to listen to her ability to sing low notes listen to her version of How Great Thou Art sung in the same note as Elvis at 10 yrs old. And you tell me who among the female singers you know can do that

Enjoyed your reaction, but: You need to listen to a few of her songs where she goes low! In this song for her voice, there are no "low" notes! She is known for hitting low notes that most other females will not even try! Long before you were born Elvis did "How Great Thou Art" in a key even lower than he normally sang in. When recording it he could not make it thru the entire song without stopping to rest his voice. At 12 Angelina covered his version in the same key and did it in one take!

You just haven't head her enough because Angelina is known for singing those low notes. She loves using her lower register.
She doesn't have any problems with low tones, actually very good. I think when you mentioned at the beginning she was going for a vulnerable sound in that part (and the end) that plays to the lyrics of this song. I think most would say low tones are a strong suit of hers, even at a very young age.

Angelina is a contralto with warm, rich, very low notes for a female. It just depends on the song whether she uses her lowest notes. I'm not sure I get the low note thing. I think she sang exactly the way she wanted to for this particular track. She can hit low notes quite well, See How Great thou Are for instance at 12 or 13. Or a Sinatra Cover You make me feel so Young at 13 or 14. Where she kind of sings both the female and male parts.
I've been following her for 4 years when I found her on AGT The Campions. Now I have to listen to it every day, it's part of my daily routine. For me she is like a healthy drug that my mind cries out for. She's 18 now and still getting better live, she's a superpower. There are over 200 cover songs of hers that are mostly better than the original as well as 13 originals that she wrote and there are still over 100 songs that were written by her in the drawer waiting to be released so we still have a lot to look forward to . Honestly if you see her singing HOW GREAT THOU ART at only 10 in the same key as Elvis you will realise she can go much much lower and UNCHAINED MELODY NOBEL CONCERT much higher. Angelina will pay tricks on you as its the emotion of a song is the most important to her. She will weaken a part to convey vulnerability, pain or uncertainty. Its not that its difficult for her. As a small child of ten we can see she was right on the edge of her lower register because as a chold her voice was naturally higher but now her rich lower register is often talked about. Even at 12 years old check out BORN TO DIE. Its low sultry and impecable despite the kareoke backing track.

Born Angelina Jordan Astar on January 10, 2006 in Oslo, Norway to her Norwegian mother, Sara Astar and her Swedish father, Gerry Christian Slattman.
Angelina started singing around 18 months of age, after listening to Whitney Houston on TH-cam. She quickly became obsessed with listening to music videos and her maternal grandmother, Mery Zamani got Angelina interested in classic jazz.
Mery Zamani is Iranian and was a prodigy as an artist and poet while growing up in Iran. Angelina attended the Oslo Waldorf School and participated in the Oslo School of Music and Performing Arts after-school program, where starting around age 4, she had training in music but no vocal training. Her teachers were smart enough to not attempt to change what she was doing vocally. More recently she along with her grandmother have designed and made the clothing she wears on stage.
Why Angelina always performs barefoot At age 6, while traveling in the Middle East with her mother and grandmother, Angelina noticed a girl around her age standing on the side of the road, asking people to step on her bathroom scale to be weighed in hopes of getting some money. Angelina took off her shoes so as to not get the scale dirty and stepped on the scale many times to make the girl feel better. Angelina befriends the girl who was not wearing shoes and has scars on her feet, and learns she is an orphan. The orphan girl tells Angelina how beautiful she thinks her shoes are. Angelina says her shoes don’t fit her well and she wants to give her shoes to the orphan girl who thanks Angelina for giving her the shoes. Angelina asked the girl what she wanted to be when she grew up and the girl replied, “I want to become a doctor, but that will never happen since I have no parents and I have siblings so I have to do whatever is necessary for us to survive.” Angelina told the girl to never give up on her dreams. The poor girl asked Angelina what she wanted to be when she grew up and Angelina replied that she wanted to sing for the whole world. The poor girl said she would pray every day so Angelina’s dream would come true. Angelina still says she thinks of that homeless girl every day and has always performed barefoot to remind her of all the children who are less fortunate.
At age 9, she became the youngest published author in Norway’s history by writing a book about this encounter in the Middle East. PLEASE PURCHASE Angelina’s book from her merchandise store on her official website, angelinajordanofficial Angelina, at age 6 and 7, did record a few songs in a recording studio at her school, most notably “I Who Have Nothing”, a truly remarkable performance for a 7 year old. At age 7, Angelina’s audition on Norway’s Got Talent, was a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday”, a song which was banned by a number of European countries during World War II because authorities worried the song would increase the suicide rate. Truly bizarre that this is the song to launch the career of a child musical prodigy. One of the judges on NGT cried. Angelina had turned 8 years old for her next performance on NGT, covering Billie Holiday’s “I’m a Fool to Want You” singing acapella which was required by NGT unless the singer also played an instrument while singing. This was the Judge’s cut round of the competition and was not performed in front of an audience. In the Semi Final round of NGT, Angelina sang “Bang Bang” which was written by Sonny Bono and was first performed by his wife Cher but is best known sung by Nancy Sinatra. The improvement in each performance is incredible even though there were only a couple months between them. In the Finals, Angelina did a cover of George Gershwin’s, “Summertime” and won the contest, capturing 46% of the votes from the ten finalists. When asked what she would like to do with the prize money she won (500,000 kroner or about $80,000), Angelina replied, “I want to give it to the poor children”. Angelina had become a star in her native Norway and her videos on TH-cam went viral. She gave a few concerts during the summer of 2014 while 8 years old. In December 2014, Angelina realized a life-long desire to sing at the Save the Children's Peace Prize Celebration which is part of the Noble Peace Prize celebration. On June 27, 2018, at age 12, Jordan performed Frank Sinatra “Fly Me to the Moon” for Quincy Jones in The O2 Arena in London. She has said that was the high point of her young career which was already in it’s 6th year. During 2018, Angelina lost her paternal grandfather, her friend Avicii and one of her idols, Aretha Franklin. She did a moving tribute for each. In 2019, Angelina accepted an invitation to compete in the 2nd season of America’s Got Talent (AGT), The Champions. She had, since age 3, wanted to perform for Simon Cowell and she earned his praise with her genius arrangement of “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The surviving members of Queen loved it so much they put a link to it on their Twitter. Angelina was eliminated after covering Elton John’s “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road”. Angelina’s family refused to sign any agreement with AGT. Angelina, before age 14, had covered more than 130 songs from 80 different artists, spanning at least 8 genres, all of which are available on TH-cam. Angelina has always made changes to each song she covers and often her version is preferred over the original. The pandemic hit shortly after her performances on AGT and likely caused a change of plans by her family, most notably her Uncle Michael who is her manager. Regarding her low tones my thoughts are you mistake difficulty with her purposeful use of breathy singing. You will see as you continue. It’s understandable that one might analyze that way. Listen to her cover of How Great Thou Art for clarity on her low range.

When you said ‘low tones’ did you mean whisper voice? (I thought the pitch was rather high tone with a lot of air moving through the vocal folds to intentionally sound whispery.) Maybe you were focusing on a different part.
