  • Welcome to our video about our return trip to Koh Rong Island in Cambodia! After being stuck there for almost a year during the pandemic, we decided to revisit and see how it has changed now that tourism is slowly returning. We were curious to find out if the island had become more touristy or if everyone could still find their own slice of paradise.
    Koh Rong is the second-largest island in Cambodia and is known for its pristine white sand beaches, coral reefs, crystal blue waters, and mesmerizing sunsets. It's the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy tropical weather under the palm trees. In this video, we take you on a journey to discover the hidden gems of this island, including jungle paths leading to hidden waterfalls, and the charming local villages nestled in the jungle.
    Join us as we explore the natural beauty of Koh Rong Island, including the famous night swims with plankton, which create a magical bioluminescent effect. Whether you are looking for adventure, relaxation, or a combination of both, this island has something for everyone. So sit back, relax, and let us take you on a virtual tour of this paradise island in Cambodia! :)

    Wow...I can't believe you lived on Koh Rong for 6-7 months. And those unpaved roads were brutal. I felt nauseous just looking at it 🤢

      Yeh man I wish all of us could live on tropical island for some longer time to experience what it feels like :))
      Living in nature, sleeping outdoors, swimming in the ocean every day, fresh coconuts, lots of sun, sky, stars, waterfalls, jungle, barefoot and your time.
      It’s actually healing and inspiring you to live.
      We stuck there 3 years ago when the all madness started.. it was one of the best times :)))

      Yes nature is beautiful here on island, but the expat community is horrible, I can recommend visit the island but I don’t recommend to live or be involved in any “projects” :D all of them are alcoholic or drug addicted..

      Yeh Cambodia is beautiful country, interesting culture, people are really nice away from touristy areas, just a bit sad for the past history, what’s happening now in the country and what will be in the future.. I wish Cambodia would be free and strong itself economically and could say to other countries No, and protect the wild life and few giant trees .. just what’s left

    have you found a solution for the sand fleas?

    • @usonearth
      @usonearth  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha I know what u mean:))) sand fleas the biggest issue to enjoy it fully .. but hey like anywhere else.. there will be a small distraction, or negatives:) depends on what u focus.
      Anyway tiger balm helps a little bit, or other pure strong essential oils. Or simply just don’t care about it :))
      We enjoyed so much that sand fleas was just a miner issue 😜⭐️
      Imagine being stuck on island for 7 months, so u get to the point where u just don’t care and tbh was perfect 😄
      Thank u for watching 🙌🏼

      Dar truri truputi laiko, neužilgo jos nebeliks .. yra dar Koh ta Kiev, bet ten sale žemės visai per sprindį, tai nelabai pabegsi nuo viso to tamsaus oro. Smagiau kai matai, jauti ir žinai kad esi toli nuo miesto dūmų :))
