Do you ever worry about the elements or thieves getting at your valuables, like electronics when you're hammock sleeping? I heard there was some theft at the bungalows on Lonely Beach. I want to hammock but I have Macbook air, Go Pro.
If you stay at the jungle bar my friend will take care of you :) just show him my channel and he will make it safe :)) other places I’m not sure, all responsibility depends on you :)
I have a lot gear on me, so Jungle Bar was the best option, or u have to take care your stuff with you if u leave your camping spot.

Yeh I wish it too, but unfortunately nobody can do nothing about it , the island is owned by Chinese royal group for next 99years so it will be destroyed in a few years, it’s already happening. Very sad I do know what Cambodias government was thinking about to give them this contract..

How is the Internet on this island?
It depends, in some places pretty good but definitely not like on mainland, it took me longer to upload the video:)
I think the best connection is in main village.
And we have metphone (not sure is it right spelling) but it was not good :)

@@usonearth Thank you! Are there scooter rentals? How much and do they ask for a passport?
@@tony.travels don’t know much about rentals, we travel with our motorbike, but what I know is about 10$ for a day petrol is around 2$ per litre.
Not sure about the passport. Go to jungle bar, I think they will help you :)
@@usonearth Nice. Also, I'm travelling alone and a single guy. Is there any scene where I could meet other people to hang out with there? It seems very quiet.
@@tony.travels yeh man Runaways is the right place, Jungle Bar it’s great because the food is really good and now they can sort u out tent or hammock and they have outdoor showers so it can save u a lot of money and give u nice experience:)
Lost boys Hostel seems getting busy but it depends are u going to like the vibe also Nest bar is busy with young people.
Ah man island is great, take a walk from main village down to funky beach, one of the most beautiful hikes :) and don’t get lazy explore us much as u can :))
