I own this bike and i can honestly say i use it more then my car, this bike is FAST and it has great range. Just road from Vancouver Washington to downtown Portland and back on one charge
How many miles all that is together? I need mental idea

That bikes look great! I haven't been a fan of moped style bikes because of all the empty space in the frame.
This bike fills that space in a great looking manner. I'm a fan of THIS moped style ebike.
I bought this bike 4 months ago and I love it I had a small issue with the motor but it was replaced and going good.
I have the Smartravel version. Pretty much the same bike. It also has front turn signals. Different paint scheme.

I have this bike, it's really good. 400 miles on it so far. My only complaint is having to reset the computer every now and then to compensate for the voltage lag that gives false battery readings.
How do you reset it

Went through 1500 miles on mine in a summer and the motor gave out, waiting on new motor to come in

You made the right decision. I feel like these motorcycle style e-bikes are just a fad that's gonna die out soon. A bit like how banana seat bikes like the Schwinn Stingray and Raleigh Chopper died out after the 70's. I feel like in 5 years time, these motorcycle style e-bikes will be in junkyards or rusting away in the corner of people's sheds/garages. Meanwhile, I'm probably still gonna be riding my Engwe EP-2 Pro in 10 years time because it's a super useful bike.

I've been following Mr Centraldriver for a long time now infact I think I was the one who told him about your turtleneck stems I think this is a cool looking bike for the price and I enjoyed your track race against yourself that could have ended badly but you handled it just fine it's no hill climbmer but you can use your legs 😊😅

The YGG is a nice machine. I`m thinking about buying it from a local shop not too far from me here in Brooklyn, New York. But I have to see if I can get on and off without any problem first. If the handlebars could be raised, I would raise them a bit. The handlebars could use a pair of rearview mirrors. You mentioned the bike has rear direction turn signals. It could use that in the front too. And furthermore sir. You shouldn't put a phone mount on the handlebars when doing the speed tests. You never know. You could actually drop the phone, And no more phone.
Plus the saddle bag in the middle. could be bigger to hold more. Plus a tool bag mounted on the handlebars. The battery looks a lot bigger and easier to put on and take off, from what I have now. I have a Rollgood electric bike. It has ape hanger bars. Almost looks like a chopper. But the battery is a pain to put on. But easy to take off. And the pain part is. That I have to line up the track of the battery with the track of the battery mount. Slide the battery in all the way. Then lock the battery with a key. That`s the easy part.
A number of months ago. The motor was stalling. I had to shut the battery off. Then put the battery on again. Then it would run smooth sailing. Now it`s smooth sailing. The bike is not great. But it`s okay. The YGG bike I would definitely give a chance. The few add ons I mentioned, is all it needs. Otherwise it doesn`t need anything else.
And I can see. This cafe racer style motorcycle electric bike. Is straight out pre WWII era, during WWII era, and post WWII era. Straight out of the late 1930s and 1940s. It also reminds me of the one person Harley Davisson Motorcycles with a knucklehead engine. That was one of the v twin engines Harley Davidson made at that time period.
And maybe the bike is not meant to go up steep hills to go fast. The fast part is just for down hill to peak at 1200 watts. And good luck to you with this bike sir.

Agree with Sensi Vegan: the style is cool. The top of the frame may be a little wide for pedaling, but we know it wasn't made for pedaling anyways. I like the looks of the bag, and I'd probably put a hinge and latch on the compartment behind the bag. The performance is due to either the controller being weak, the programming set soft to protect the motor or clutch, or the motor is simply wound for speed instead of torque. If I had it, I would keep the looks, but upgrade the motor, controller, and tires.

What you can do is upgrade the controller, and or add in another front 1000w hub motor to obtain speeds of 30mph up hill.
What front hub would I add to something like this? I’m new into e-bikes, this one caught my eye cause of the cage racer look.
The style of the bike is Cool. I would upgrade to a street tire. My only gripe would be the seat. I have long legs so I wish the seat was adjustable. Excellent video David!!🔥🔥 Have a nice weekend.
The motor seems to have many issues for people. From what ive researched people have to replace the motor after about 1,000 miles.
Pretty cool David, What was the battery reading during the hill tests? mean, after the ride to the UPS store? I'd like to see all bikes with a fresh battery on the hill for a fair comparison. 1000W motors use a bit more than 750W motors in the same distance. As for the bike, I'd love some 6" raise BMX bars...

With pedal assist, the slower you pedal the more it reads as throttle so you’d actually get faster reading with slower pedaling like in the second run.

My main concern are hills, I have a pretty moderate commute to work and there's a couple hills...how are tackling hills with this consistently and is it easier or more efficient to pedal while doing hills. Im really looking to get an ebike for short commutes and and possibly work if it allows

they put the big heavy battery up top when there's space down where the bag goes ? handling would be way better with a lower centre of gravity , looks fast though fp :)

A couple years ago I ran across this bike frame design and started calling it the battering ram bike, and never quite accepted the look.
Probably slow up hills because it's so heavy. Cool looking bike though.

Why anyone would get a gasoline put put Moped anymore is beyond me. These E-Bikes look sweet, more torque than standard moped or small CC moto. And just recharge for days.
cental driver dosent do hill climbing so you could never get a honest review with no hill climbing not sure why guys would do a review with no hill climbing face it a bike that cant climb a hill is junk torque is every bit important as speed . to bad guys dont know this or care glad you do a hill climb so far your review is the most honest and accurate.i like centrals reviews but no hill climb is a flawed review thanks man

That’s sad. If that is a true 1000w hub motor why would it peak at only 1200. A 750w motor ought to be peaking at 1500 if it is a quality motor which all pretty much are the same.

lol super 73 is the same 4,000 the junk bike cant climb a hill again i hope other reviewers that seem to have no clue how important torque is hill climbing every rider has hills they encounter to leave it out is just inexperience not educated on ebikes or just affraid to admit most bikes are junk lol i love the look of this bike too bad it poor hill climber .my xclass ariel very good hill climber and my euy s4 is ok on hills my rad runner not so good and slow .you at least know no torque it wont climb a hill ,i hope others will get a clue thanks

This is 1200w? I feel like my Engwe EP-2 Pro (960w peak) could smoke this on flat ground while pedaling in PAS level 5. Took forever for this thing to get up to speed. These motorcycle style e-bikes are a bit of a gimmick imo because you can't adjust the saddle height, so you can't really put any extra power down when pedaling and your knees are almost coming up to your chest. If I wanted to use the throttle all the time, I'd just buy an actual electric motorcycle.
