First of all, many thanks for your indefatigable endeavour which is enlightening thousands of rising brains. Your echo give another way to see this world in every aspect but in this intellectual realm wherein the discourse about privatisation is outstanding. In my opinion, for this time politically motivated institutional decision making is the last resort to save the staggering economy bifurcating any form of model. Further,any model could be sufficient but in the interest of state and its citizens . The primary objective of this policy is to attain the highest growth at all stages which can be assured only in case of implementation by eliminating favouritism and nepotism .

This is positive aspect as they are facing issuing regarding the recovery of loan, now they have an option and a source of income if they go for privatisation and the consequence of this will be the monopoly of the company and also they will decide the price of commodity which will worse the situation of common people. In my point of view it's win win for Govt and burden will be shifted to Common Man.
It will largely depend on multiple factors. In some sectors that got privatised, exactly opposite happened to what you mentioned dear

+ Tax on poor will be minimized
2/. It halts political intervention
3/. Accountability enhances, corruption decreased
