I am currently doing 50Tons + deliveries and using the New MAN. It feels a bit underpowered if you compare it the Scania 8 axle, but the truck has a really nice feel to it.
The truck's horsepower, transmission and axle combination mostly depend on what kind of load will be towed. For me DAF 4x2 is typically truck for standard 24t cargo. Curtainsider, flatbed, refrigerated, silos, fuel tanker or gas tanker etc. MAN can be used in same way as DAF. Also MAN has more axle combination and stronger engine so can be used to haul heavy cargo with low loader.
You're right about this! I don't like it either ,and don't let anymore tell me that it's not a scam to give the MAN chassis 100% built for such a load. Because it's like trying to race a bicycle against a airfighter...
@@vutomy there is 2 points that might change back towards the DAF, the 1st is lag issue for low end PC's. the DAF is still fine, but I have lag issues whit the new MAN, even sometimes not nearby reworked cities. and the 2nd is the crouse control speed set that is more visible in the DAF than in the MAN
excuse me, but how did MAN win cabin challenge? I mean, DAF has extra mirrors which has wide angle, unlike MAN, in DAF you see more from inside because it has large windows, and also DAF has bigger and longer cabin.
how can you compare a 4x2 axle setup to a 8x4 setup? both are for complety differant loads/cargo, an 8x4 chassis is for huge loads, not for a 24-28 tonne curtainsider or similar, so yea i dont understand how you thought comparing them two together is a good idea ? and come on you have put a 4x2 chassis pulling a 62 tonne load that would never pull that in real life, an 8x4 would do it yes but thats what its designed for. you cant simply compare these two.
Not quite sure I got it but it looks like you are testing 8x4/4 against 4x2 (0:39) ? Like seriously? Those are two very different chassis for very different purposes. Thus their performance like speed tests, or stability is very different.

The winner should be the most optional kind of axle. 4×2 axle can't be compared with 8×4, both are exactly different, their weight, acceleration, traction, manouverability, etc. If you want to comparing both by the axle, you can use the cheapest or the most expensive of both axle. And, the coolest look of both is relative. It depends on ourselves preferences.

DAF is just right for me, from extrior to interior, it makes me feel more comfortable just looking at it.

Like the MAN, but hard to go back after picking up a Scania/Volvo.....MAN is kind of slow, but one of the nicest interiors in the game.

Daf and man both interior looks good. But in the exterior daf wins. And I like man engine sound more than daf

Tbh I like the man more it's so nice to drive but I still drive the daf xg Jasper pack as well because it has more customization
