    This summer my friend and I shot around 3000 BBs in one day, my siblings would blow bubbles and if we missed one before it popped on its own we would have to let them shoot .we noticed a great improvement in our skill

    Having found out recently that I have cancer, the treatment has made me quite unwell and weakened - so much that I can no longer draw and shoot my recurve bow. I found your channel quite by chance and after watching this video, tried a homemade slingshot with light rubber bands and BB’s. Something I can actually shoot and enjoy (and even hit a target in my backyard at 40’ most times without over taxing my reduced muscle strength). Thanks for the inspiration, BB’s are great fun and cost next to nothing - now searching the web to try to find a Dealer in Australia that imports Simpleshot gear into Queensland, seems no one local has anything suitable in stock at the moment with all the Covid difficulties and issues. Thanks again for inspiring me with this video.

      Wow. I’m so sorry.
      And thrilled to hear of your new experience with slingshots. Extac is our Australian dealer. You may want to check with them. They don’t carry everything, but they will be your best bet probably.

      @@simpleshot Thanks for your reply - you just have to deal with the sh*t life deals and make the best of what you can 👍. Yes, just found Extac online, they have a few things in stock but with the “Rona” craziness we’re experiencing, they have had to close up shop temporarily (lockdown in Queensland - hopefully just for a few more days). Thanks again for putting me onto shooting BB’s, hopefully once treatment is over, I can work up to bigger things. Cheers from Australia 👍🇦🇺

    I like BBs a lot. Tiny ammo, tiny slingshot, perfectly pocketable, cheap and pretty safe to shoot.

    I bought the bb bandset from your site for my son. Shoot 1/4” steel shot. Right away I was very accurate with it, more so than my 3/8” steel shot. I took it to work to kill birds with around the farm. Killed 7 birds. As long as you hit the head or center mass they drop dead instantly or almost instantly. I can’t shoot my 3/8” as easily around the farm in the green houses. Lots of ricochets and fragile things in the area like vehicles. I feel a lot safer shooting a bb straight up in the air than a 3/8” steel ball.

    If you shoot the .177 bbs near over the surface of water, you can observe them in flight, i discoverd that today while i was shooting .177 bbs by a river, i placed a target around 50-60 meters on the other side of the river (the speed of the bandset was around 450fps) usually i can't observe the bbs that fast, but somehow by the first shot over the river i could clearly observe the full flight of them for the first time, that was a big gamechanger for training accuracy with the bbs

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, being able to track the ammo's flight path is a huge benefit.

    I loved shooting bbs as a kid my parents wouldn't buy me a slingshot or ammo but I had friends and there parents would buy them slingshots and bb guns wed shoot the bbs out of both I Always thought the slingshot was cooler there's just something about hitting your mark with one, I mean a gun is obvious point and shoot a slingshot is more like an art form it takes finesse. great video.

    I ordered some 1632 tubes from your site and paired that up with a gzk n8 positional pouch for a frameless setup. Been shooting BBs and I love it. Getting better every day but I think the pouch is a little too heavy? Hand slaps mainly on the knuckles don’t feel very good from that pouch😂

    Great information! I am using .43 gram airsoft bbs on my 3.6mm loop bands. And I'm just happy to say that I already killed few mice with it. The bbs travel so fast that it can penetrate their skull despite of its light weight.

      Do they shoot harder than a co2 BB gun? That would be really cool if they did.

      @@Dominochaney IIRC your average slingshot is slower than your average branded blowback BB air gun(cause there are spring type BB guns, so I need to specify what), but it's often on those expensive branded rifle types(not pistols), cause the BB has more time in the barrel to ramp up pressure and speed. You need to be quite well off cause it's not a cheap hobby, I heard your average mag will leak in two months, and the price of those is definitely not cheap.
      The air gun get those speeds cause of pressure, barrel length and the light weight of the BB combined, and the overall initial investment price and maintenance cost, such speeds should been expected.
      Not everyone can afford the maintenance cost of such hobby, even if you do not use your mag, once you inject Co2 in your mag, it consistently loses some some tiny pressure over time.
      Check out some air gun BB channels that's not for profit, you'll occasionally hear from them that this is expensive and that is expensive.

    Does the color make a difference in elasticity. is 0.8 red same as 0.8 blue o other color?

    Ok, Theraband blue for the elastic. What about the pouch if making your own what size. I have some wallet leather that's thin.

    I prefer 6mm or 8mm as they are big enough to see and cleanly kill while having more stopping power and not much speed difference when using 6mm

    • @simpleshot
      @simpleshot  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The 6mm ammo is fun to shoot as well. Being light though, it does not carry a lot of energy.
