Dettling 1867 Bottled-in-Bond...Six Grain Bourbon???

- Today we review an Alabama bourbon...the Dettling 1876 Bottle-in-Bond!!! This bourbon is also unique in that it is made from six grains: heirloom corn from southern Alabama, rye, oats, chocolate malted rye, Caramel malted barley and malted barley. They wanted to emulate an oatmeal stout and they really did a good job. At the MSRP we can't recommend it BUT it is very good and can be found for closer to 80...that would be a buying point!! Cheers!

It really is. Crazy quality coming from Alabama, really want to make it down to visit the distillery.
