This is a good demonstration to why making a teammate switch to a specific character is pointless. If you play Pharah, of course you're going to struggle when dealing with Bastions limited mobility.

@AhmedMohammed-pf3jk If you know what you need to do and have a plan, then it just becomes a matter of swapping to get the job done and adapting when it isn't working. If you lack that mindset, then sure, it probably feels personal when a teammate suggests a alternative hero to deal with the current situation. If you want to win, then try and solve the puzzle. It's game why you have to be mad?
@@AhmedMohammed-pf3jk If someone tells me they can play every character that usually means they can't play any character well. I love how when they went Pharah it was immediately obvious how much more comfortable they were with the character. Rule of thumb is to just play what you're comfortable and familiar with. It'll likely yield better results than something someone else wants/demands if you have zero/low experience with them, even if it's meant to be a counter swap.
The virus and shoot method is definitely effective, but it depends on the situation. Really when i play sombra, i save the hack for larger threats, but dps like ashe, widow, hanzo, even bastion are just fine being hit with a quick virus and shoot, in other words, it helps shorten the time it takes to start your ambush since you just tap virus instead of holding it
This is why if someone tells you to go a hero you don't play: just tell them you don't play them and if they still insist on it, just ignore or mute them
Anyone claiming a character is a free win button immediately and demanding teammates play that character/characters is definitely not someone to listen to ever.

Idk what you were expecting from someone that does not play Sombra. Sombra players have to understand the utility of her moves. It’s always gonna look like this if you don’t.
When virus was implemented, it made the translocator ability all wonky in the sense you had an escape ability and an active ability for the first time as sombra, after years of not having one. when virus was implemented, it was very easy for me, and a lot of players new to sombra to mix up the abilities so when the sombra teleported into their team it was clearly a misinput each time and I felt that pain of bein that guy
"lot of players new to sombra" - Ive played sombra as one of my main DPS since she came out (DPS is my least favorite role tho) - I still occasionally throw out Translocate when I want to virus.
Not going to lie one of my most recent losses in my B-1 game is literally because I couldn't do anything as tank. I was Rein and just getting to the control point was hard enough on my shield as it was. I could feel my team at that point expecting me to play the game for them as they were all behind me. The issue I was facing is that they were all behind me and the moment I pushed I would have been 5v1 melted. I needed a dps to create an opening for me. All it would have taken was a Pharah to displace them and rain missiles on them. There is only so much the tank can do for you and they can't play for you. You need to create openings for your tank just as they need to create openings for you. It was the gazebo point with the 4 openings. Team sides have straight staircases and the sides having the side stairs that go into it from both sides. My mind then was I really wish a dps would go Pharah to help me push. Either that or for a dps to create a distraction. They only had to hold one side and the team put it all on me to push into a 5v1.
It is common technique. Hacked targets get more damage from virus. But you usually want to start with virus cause hack gives the target some time to react.
it depends, it used to be virus shoot, but now that the opportunist passive is back, hack virus shoot now I guess? It's still pretty valid to just virus shoot though.
One word for all Overwatch gamers complaining about team compositions. Situational awareness. Don’t throw your hands in the air when you are approached with a matchup that seems like it’s impenetrable. Use your heroes strengths, and the map’s strength to your advantage. Countering is not all about swapping heroes. A widowmaker can 1v4 a payload game, and win a match. I know this because I played widowmaker and 1v4 the team, leaving their tank defenseless as my teams comes into mop up. I picked my targets, the enemy widow first since she can directly counter me. Then the mercy to deny a resurrection on the widow or anyone else my team kills. Once widow and mercy are gone, I quickly jump down to the payload to stall it while also taking out the sojourn on point. The last person was zen who was behind me so I used my grapple hook to gain a higher position, turn around and kill zen in the air. All that was left was doomfist who had to kill my entire team to stall long enough for all 4 heroes to run back from spawn. Each kill I made out my team in a better win condition than before. Now, I’m a pretty good widow and i understand not everyone can hit shots all the time and make huge plays, but that’s not really my point. The real reason my team won that game was because I played to my heroes strengths. I used better positioning to win the widow duel. I used widowmaker lethality on a hero that can’t effectively back (Mercy). I contested the point and got a lucky kill on sojourn because she wasn’t expecting a widow on the ground behind her. I used her grapple hook for greater mobility to avoid zen’s high damaging, low speed projectiles, securing a kill on him because I put myself in the superior position. Overwatch is a strategy game, not a killing game. Use strategy, adapt, change, every game is different, learn from the enemy, your team, and trust yourself. He is incredibly tanky which makes him hard to kill which is always a bonus
Not to mention his smaller size is actually better because it's harder to hit him

His turret is a great zoning tool
And is actually the best tool against flying Heroes as it's an aim bot so it's incredibly hard to deal with as a flying character (especially echo as her projectiles for some reason get affected by fall off for some reason while most projectiles don't)
His ultimate is a great zoning tool
And he can absolutely spread tanks with his shotgun and overload
He's easily able to kill most tanks within a couple of shots
And he also is one of the only few characters that don't suffer at any range
Torb is good at long, medium and short range

how have people not figured out picks don't matter much at all. Its all about how you play. Comps only really matter at high rank. Telling anyone to swap to a specific hero is basically never going to do anything. Swap if you are not being effective, don't swap just because "mercy lucio is a bad comp". Mercy lucio is fine in 95% of games.
Old sombra was the GOAT!
Ik now she's broken
@@lorenzothedonut???
@SocialExperiment232 like you have a 5 second cooldown before you transform back I hate that I liked it when u stayed stealth mode
@@lorenzothedonut it's two full seconds of utter helplessness, no matter what you do.
@@zov282 either way i dont like it
I hate how in every video he repeats "positioning is key" when most people sending these videos in probably barely understand the concept and could use several big examples. Half the time he just says "positioning is key" and then carries on watching
ALRIGHT SO!
They just want to prove their tank wrong. 😅
Honestly, I liked the old sombra better. Overwatch is kind of boring now without having to worry about a flanking sombra.
I play the new sombra so much just to try and figure out a strat it's hopless. I used to have epic speedster battles with tracer.
Widow is now destroying lobbies. Now people will cry for widow to get nerf
While i hated sombras poping up in the back to get a kill, i did enjoy tagging them & killing them as a team! as a sombra player myself, i do miss sneaking around. but i am adjusting. its more of a "jump the gap" kind of invis now...
@@zov282I figured out one strategy but it's really risky. So pretty much just keep flinging yourself directly at them and run around them in loops hoping they follow you instead of look at your teammates. Otherwise she's shitty
@@wswann34 oh ya, I used to keep widow in check. She can carry if no one has an answer. She sees me coming a mile away now.
Romans 16:20 says, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you". God loves you all amen
Third!
Dude - I can see why Pharah is your main... If this was Silver you will likely climb if you 1 trick a bit.
No wonder he is silver, he is only good at phara when nobody can aim or counter her.
Oke and? Do you feel better now? Now you flamed him for no reason.
@@Mash-NL I guess i touch a nerve there. What i said is that if you play a noob killer hero you will only get to win against bronze and silver players. Better git gud bois.
at least bros having fun, overwatch is like living hell when ur sweating, they can play who they wanna play and if they are silver then they are silver, atleast they are having fun lmfao
@@juanmanuelmontivero4473 they submitted this vod to improve, behaving in the way you are is a pathetic response to a person learning. You might be better at overwatch than them but I can tell they're an infinitely better person.
@@wraithisright7820Lol. You really are taking this seriously man, chill out. Telling someone that playing like a silver get them stuck in silver is though but true. Go touch some grass
Their Pharah is great. Easily above Silver. They can climb on that hero.
This sombra is bronze trash you wouldn’t have to deal with trash players constantly throwing games if the game wasn’t free and paid for with skins
