"A Tazmanian Devil is a strong murderous beast, jaws as powerful as a steel trap - has ravenous appetite - eats tigers, lions, elephants, buffaloes, donkeys, giraffes, octopuses, rhinoceroses, moose, ducks..." "...and Rabbits."
Nice Looney Tunes reference, though if we go by the sequel series Tiny Tunes, humans *seem* to have been added to that list. I’m of course referring to an episode of Tiny Tunes where a seemingly tribal human kid ends up inside the Tasmanian Devil.
@@whitewolf3051 I grew up on Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies cartoons back in the 80s in my country. I still find them hilarious after all these years especially with Bugs, Daffy and Elmer with their hunting season gags!
I had the original spring-loaded one. But my favourite one of that style was Razorbeast, the warthog. The reason why? He went from a chunky creature to a slender/muscular robot.
they should do a crossover with that since you mentioned Tasmania Devil between Transformers and Cartoon Network between Tasmania Devil to robot Yosemite Sam to horse and back Bugs Bunny from Rabbit to Robot and so on I’d love to see that
Having the original BW Snarl that this figure is homaging, it's a faithful representation, minus the weird spring loaded tail weapon gimmick from the original😂😂
@@Alex876 Snarl was his original 1997 Beast Wars name by Kenner/Hasbro. Takara changed his name to Tasmania Kid for their 1998 Beast Wars II toyline/anime.
I know, the coloring looks more like a wolverine to me. I still plan to get two and paint one black with fleshy tan and white accents. (I’m undecided if the eyes should be gloss black or leave them blue.)
"Tazmanian" huh?!? I guess the job working for WB with "Bugs Bunny" no longer paid as well, Or maybe they snatched his (eye-care & dental plan!!!!) 😄Lmao!!!! 👍🏼
One would think since the lower jaw is part of his torso in robot mode, they would make that a part of the transformation, even for a figure of this size. But no, the lower jaw is still there in beast mode, which makes no sense.
I don't know if I can get past that. Even though normal display for his beast mode won't show his underside, a giant open jaw on his chest looks ridiculous.
I know what you mean. Yes, nostalgia is good, and yes, that part of the chest did indeed form the lower jaw in the original toy, but they could have figured out a way to avoid that with this figure, I think. The bee in Kingdom Scorponok and Sandstorm is in the same boat for me; Yeah, I like the nostalgia because I had the original toy, but I could have lived without it.
4:48 best dialogue of any work of fiction ever.
It's too bad the rear legs don't lift up. The only scene I remember from BW2 was TK lifting his leg to put out a forest fire. It didn't help much.
The pose can be done if you move the leg before transformation lol, you just have to position it around the tab

Razorbeast had no right to have as cool of a robot mode as he did
@@IsaiahINRI I know, but it worked so well.
Shouldn't it be called Beast Wars Two-nerverse??
Great review and figure! Here's hoping we get a core class Diver next year!
I just got him earlier today. I gotta dig out the original and compare them.

Got mine a week ago, very cool figure!😎👍
Tasmanian kid looks good
He forgot their also anime Maximals besides 3d animations Maximals. Beast Wars 2nd nice.
I really like that we are getting Japanese BW characters: Leo Prime(Lio Convoy), Skywarp and Taz Kid. Hopefully we get Diver and Apache soon
Got the original (packaged as Snarl) but the tail gimmick never really worked.
Prison wallet gun storage, not recommended. Very dangerous
Keeps you on your toes though if you aren't careful it's your as... well you get my point
Tasmanian kid to chester " you call that a tail weapon mate?, this is a tail weapon"
I am looking forward to emgo doing a review of the Stranger Things/Transformers Code Red transformer. I recently got mine at Target.
I wonder how long until we can get an update to Torca.
Hey emgo do you ever plan on reviewing the studio seed primus the creator?
I want an oversized KO of this to go with MP Lio Convoy!
Smart engineering for this one though 😊❤
Been waiting for this one
Now then where’s legacy big convoy hasbro?
It's the Tasmanian Devil
What for you make me scan a tasmanian devil for me alt mode?
now we need scuba and diver and bighorn and apache

I am down for a Bound Rogue repaint.
Do you sell your transformers when done with them or do you store them?
He's ready to duel
If he is supposed to be a Tasmanian Devil he is the wrong colour. I want a repaint done in black and white lol
Tornado not included
Don't you wish you could do a 360° rotation with your head?
Damn, I was hoping for a Looney Tunes crossover.
Beast Wars II Tasmania Kid (a.k.a. Beast Wars Snarl)
in show hes more cheetor

I have all of them!
Oh my gosh this is so epic
why does he still look noting like a tasmanian devil tho?

Poor research on Takara's part when first designing it. Actually looks more like a spotted quoll, which can also be found in Tasmania.
Yyyeeeessss
He has beasty buttock shoulders!
i still dont get the name but the design is good
He's a Tasmanian Devil, apparently. Hence Tasmania Kid. Although I'm unsure WHY that was his name instead of the more traditional Transformers names
@@PiousWildcardewell he's from Japan so
It’s his Japanese name. The original name in America was Snarl. I assume they went with the Japanese version to not confuse people with the Dinobot.
@@PiousWildcardeyou got a transformers whose name is Deathsaurus. Screw the traditional transformers name, embrace new ones
Is he from the same universe as Leo Prime?
Yep! They both had their animation debuts in Beast Wars II.
@joshuaprz3 Thanks. I don't know too much about Beast Wars or Beast Wars II, but I have been collecting Maximals and Predacons.
theres full episodes on youtube of beast wars by hasbro, beast wars 2 and beast wars neo subbed by karyudo fansubs @@jaegercollects
