No kidding, your origin story and mine are the same. When i was young, a friend of mine gave me Snarl when i was on the playground. No idea who or what he was and i said to myself, i need more, let's do this.
I've seen references that Tasmania Kid/Snarl looks more like a spotless spotted quoll (look it up, both quolls and dunnarts are adorable carnivore [marsupials]). As I've stated on several videos related to this, I'm hoping to get two of the Core Class TKs and paint one black with brown and white accents, as the character Diablo (apparently Snarl's Italian name).
I'm in for...just this figure! Snarl was an important part of my Beast Wars team back in the 90s-aughts when I was playing Beast Wars and no access to the TV show. The tail-launching gimmick never made any sense to me and also didn't work very well, though. But I was happy when they started releasing basic figures that had involved transformations instead of flip-change. Anyway I might pick up some rock guys who knows but next year's Legacy stuff is otherwise not exciting for me and I'm really okay with that
I kinda want Tasmania Kid/Snarl just because I like the look of the Legacy figure. I have no clue about the character's personality, so I may just make one up.
i would buy like an artic version of this. i'm trying to collect like maximals that live around ice. i have big convoy, polar claw, and silverbolt as well and wanna get transmetal 2 prowl, icebird, break and dead end. maybe stampy as well. i got wolfang in the mail but i'm waiting to open him for when i have some more chores. unrelated but for the rock transformers, darn, i just wish they transformed into something more realistically made from rocks like scenery or statues. i could have really used that actually like how i used to use rocklords back in the day as volcano rocks or whatever. -Actually! I have drawn transformer plants and they actually use parts forming, i just realised that. cuz the onlky way to make a full robot really was to have different parts basically be different kinds of plants. cactus arm tree trunk legs, you know, stuff like that. cuz i need trees for scenery too. i need more toyetic scenery basically. i want it to be a toy also. or candy. damn. i like the parts forming i really do. the building toy aspect helps
Well for the first time, I actually like all of the upcoming deluxe figure. Well ok not so much for Chase but he doesn't look bad, just want to know who he could be redeco into?
Its a beautiful car and robot with alot of repaint / remold potential. If youre personally not into Chase as a character they’ll 100% without a doubt be making another version you’ll be more into.

Despite Takara calling him the "Tasmania Kid" in actuality Kenner based Snarl off of a wolverine.

I saw a Snarl at a 2nd hand collectors shop, but it was tailess.
The new one kept the hands but made them much cooler!

probably the eaglemoss version of animated lockdown or prime cliffjumper (due to the exhaust that you see in Chase's vehicle mode) 🤷
