Yes, she put herself in the position, yes, she got a LOT more then what she probably expected... particularly the death threats. She and Caitlyn have respect for each other... Her teammates clearly respect her... get over yourselves and show so respect for these fantastic athletes. Saying she's not tough enough because she shed a tear though? Pathetic. The girl rolled her ankle and still played the rest of the game! If that's not tough I don't know what tough is. 80% of men who roll an ankle would check themselves out of the game and go home crying to mommy. A rolled ankle is no joke! So she enters the press conference likely thinking about not only a loss but the injury as well, I'm surprised she even showed up for it! That also demonstrates strength of character!. I recall everyone getting on Baker when he was in Oklahoma for planting the flag or grabbing his junk. Same thing happened to cam newton with the Floater celebration
    The reaction towards angel isn’t a result of her gender or race, it’s because of the persona she built for herself. The comparison to Mayweather is very accurate

    It’s one thing for Iowa fans to dislike Angel Reese but it’s another thing for sports media to fuel such a hateful narrative against her. Constantly posting her responses on the court but not the words of her opponents that instigated a response is disgusting. Constantly portraying her trash talking moments within the context of being insulting and hateful but other players trash talking moments within the context of being passionate and competitive about the game is disgusting. Not posting her constantly congratulating and crediting her opponents and giving them their flowers in every post game conference but posting those moments when other players do it is disgusting. By the way, I’m not delusional. Caitlyn Clark is HER. This means nothing adversarial against Clark. I’m speaking of the sports media abusing the power they have, especially against a 20 year old young woman.

    Ion think the black white rule applies to women’s hoop.. the athleticism gap isn’t as big .. it’s more skills based IMO

      I 100% agree with that point. Women's basketball is largely based on skill in my opinion too which erases the athleticism gap to a large degree.

      even man's basketball is becoming more skills based. the best player is jokic lmfao

    • @deehollywood6013
      @deehollywood6013 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @WastedBananas I agree, Joker is the current best player, Luka is top 5, neither rely heavily on athleticism.....but the league is otherwise dominated by athleticism imo. You really have to be out of this world skilled to overcome the gap. I think of someone like Steph...not a high flyer, not big, but the greatest shooter God has ever made. But adding to your point, Foreign bigs appear to be replacing American bigs with their skill levels.

      Jokic is not an explosive athlete** But come on, now...
      The man is supremely skilled yes, but he also has all the other physical tools to go with it. 7 footer, 280 pounds, big wingspan, very strong, extremely well conditioned etc.
      People really need to understand that there's more to athleticism than just explosiveness.
