I was having a hard time deciding between this one and the Ti dial. After I watch them both on youtube I went for the Ti. Thanks for the video, it helps a lot.
@@richpaul6806 I went for the Ti dial beacuse as you said it is more unique and I also like the black bezel insert better than the metal one. Both of them are killer watches.
That slate blue on your video looks terrific with that sunburst dial. I actually picked up these three to share with my son... Slate blue, brushed Ti and red. I was on the fence with the blue but seeing that sunburst made me glad I pulled the trigger.
Ordered the red meteorite while watching this. Would have loved the on-the-fly adjustment clasp personally, but this is still very good looking. Wondering if you can swap over the clasps now…
I've ordered this exact one about a month ago, i can finally see it being shipped but it is just sitting in some Singapore sorting facility for 4 days now lol, dying to get my hands on it!
Great review, RR. I passed on this last titanium group of SF-40's cause I'm just not into titanium. Looks like the only ones sold out so far are the Blood Moon and the Crystalized version. At any rate, I have an emerald green SF-40 from the last launch and couldn't be happier. Elshan seems to be very good about listening to feedback from his customer base and now that I own 3 of his watches (ETA HH 2 and a Crimson Black Tip as well) I know what you mean about the continuous improvement.
Great review. I have the Forged Carbon version. I strong agree with you on the improved bracelet.. In the past, the bracelets were a bit hard to adjust with those recessed screws. This way was way easier to adjust. Great size and very wearable due to its size and weight. Thanks for upload.
Can’t believe none have sold out yet! Was watching another review and they were saying it’s doesn’t have some coating to make them more scratch proof and a lot of people saying they aren’t getting then due to this. How easy would it scratch if it doesn’t have the coating? I’ve got the teal bronze and was thinking about the titanium but all the comments about that has put me off
Much more easily than steel. They really scratch very easily. They will scratch.... Babying it won't help much.... Might have not been able to resist getting one if they were coated.....
The titanium dial version is about to sell out as well. The third to sell out with about only 17 left. This was a HUGE drop from Zelos in terms of numbers and what, the third generation of this watch? That’s not helping the typical quick sales. Same with the recent Mako. But if you are interested or don’t have a Mako or SF40 yet, they are still amazing watches at an incredible price.
The more expensive variants are getting close to sold out. Blood, forged, and titanium dials in that order. Green is by far in last place. I got the titanium dial. Only about 55 of those left. About 20 of the blood left. This slate is in fourth place with about 100 left.
Just bought the salmon dial option today! Probably would have went with the emerald green if it had a black bezel. I don’t like the neutral color bezels as much.
The one I wanted (titanium dial) is already sold out (actually sold out a few days ago). So frustrating!! Maybe I'll grab the frost dial, or just hope someone eventually puts it up on ebay.... ARGH
I just received this exact watch and am very impressed with the quality. The angular design of the case and bracelet is a great feature.

I have a titanium Casio Pathfinder & I actually don’t mind the way it scratches & wears. I just ordered an emerald green one!

One nice bracelet does not need quick release pins unless you wanna tinker oft with the movement.

Was very early, like 1 second after the release for the Ti version. And yupp, now sold out. Man these things went freaking fast....
