Luke Skywalker and the ragtag rebels opposing the Galactic Empire are fresh off their biggest victory so far - the destruction of the massive Death Star. But the Empire's not toppled yet! Join Luke, Princess Leia, Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3PO, R2-D2, and the rest of the Rebel Alliance as they fight for freedom against Darth Vader and his evil master, the Emperor! But when a Rebel assault goes wrong, Han and Leia must think fast to make their escape - while Luke comes face-to-face with Darth Vader! In the explosive aftermath, a humbled Luke returns to Tatooine to learn more about his mentor, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Meanwhile, Leia and Han undertake a vital - and dangerous - secret mission. Thank you so much for the time and effort it must’ve took to do all of these comics. This was totally great. I remembered this when I was growing up. But I am visually impaired, and could not read them. Now thanks to your wonderful channel, and the beautiful people who work on it. I can catch up on the stuff I missed. I love how when Vader has his mask off he sounds like Anakin and as he puts it back on it morphs back into the commanding Vader voice

Clone wars 2008 anakin voice it sounds like right? Isn’t he 45 in this comic since it takes place after a new hope and before empires strike back so they should’ve made his voice sound old
@@shaun7002 Well Anakin in Rebels still sounded like Clone Wars Anakin when Ahsoka slashed his helmet and that was 3 years before A New Hope.

Given what we know about Vader/Anakin and Luke, this exchange, and their meeting like this, is very poignant and I find it to be well-handled as an unofficial first meeting of the two.

This 1 hour audio comic is a suprise to be sure but a welcome one
How this channel only has 23k subs is beyond me. Subs and Views should be in the millions. The way SWAC animates and adds audio with perfect sounds and best possible voice actors, make these comics superb IMO. Being someone who has no words to express my hate for what Disney has done to the franchise, these Disney comics get my highest appreciation. Well done guys, Thank you and keep it up, well except perfectly fine with me if you leave out any new order crap.

I had to realize after vader got shot up by the walker, and he rose back up without his helmet his voice I thought was an audio error... Nice touch guys!!! Very nice!! I hope to see that in the live action Obi-Wan series!

Damn the voice acting is so incredibly close to the actors. And the performances are excellent ! And sound design and scoring - a true filmmaker made these !! You should be getting paid to make radio plays!!

Great job on the voice acting and sound effects. Luke’s plot armor sure is strong here. At least Han and Leia have years of experience to get the job done. Luke just bullshits his way through it all. It is pretty annoying how he can do it to. The perks of being an in betweenquel comic, after all. That’s really my one complaint.

It's... SO CLOSE to being amazing. But there are so many flaws that I can't stand. Mainly from the voice cast.
Han is perfect. Leia is almost perfect, but has a bad case of closet voice... all her lines are spoken quietly, even when she's supposed to be yelling, and her audio sounds like it was recorded in a bathroom. But the worst is Luke. He's terribly miscast, not only does he sound nothing remotely like Hamill, but he doesn't even sound like a 19 year old kid. More like a disgruntled 40 year old.
It doesn't help that amongst the clearly professional main voice cast, all the extras are blatantly amateurs, likely the editors or some such. It's painfully distracting.
All that on top of the oddly distracting musical cues, and I just couldn't stick with the whole thing. But there's some damn good potential here, and it's commendable.

To be completely honest young mark hammill as luke never sounded quite like a 19 year old himself. These voices may not be an exact replication of their respective actors but the emotion and character is all there.
