It hit me hard when he said they were us. The jedi and the sith. If you replaced the open and closed with jedi and sith it blows your mind, they'd probably never work together.
Or that if the Jedi and Sith did work together it would be only to fight a threat they both fear just like the Open and Cloned.
I just found they did work together once to imprison a being they both feared, named obeloth ! And that was during the time Luke was bringing the jedi back up again, and before the timeline of rey and kylo ! crazy

Read this 2 years ago and it’s still one of my favourite comics. I think it’s really cool to see what the Jedi were doing before the clone wars, and to see Anakin starting to get groomed by chancellor Palpatine is.. interesting to say the least. All around great comic
Man the voice acting for Obi Wan and Anakin is soooo good. It’s incredibly believable it’s them. Makes this sooo immersive!!
This comic really shows how good of a teacher obi wan was and why to me he represents the ideal Jedi. Did he mistake? Yes but overall this comic showed that he was willing to leave the order( the only family he has ever had) if needed in order to be there for anakin. He has admitted that the council isn’t always correct but feels that he can do more good as part of greater collective then going at it solo

This was surprisingly a brilliant story. The voice acting, sound effects & music all superb.
These audio comics have reignited my obsession with Star Wars. Now every recommendation on my TH-cam is Star Wars and thats fine with me.

Palpatine is definitely enjoying this.
I like how that even though we all know that Palpatine is evil I feel it's good that they acknowledge that his ideas do seem somewhat good but the way he does it is the wrong way. Because if they were just out flat evil ideals Anikan probably wouldn't agree to join so these scenes where he discusses ideas he has that somewhat line up with Anikan's morals makes even more sense why Anikan trusted him so much.

And funny thing is my dad used to read me The Return of The Jedi novel when i was a kid and would add sound effects with his mouth lol i was like the ewoks when 3PO was telling them the story lol

This story obviously took place a while before the events of "Ep2 Attack of the clones" and of course Palpatine has been encouraging and egging Anakin on since Qui-Gon died.
Finally got around to watching this and I really should have seen it sooner. it was awesome! Truly well done it was even better than the official Tales of the Jedi audio drama.
OB1 was going to leave the Order if Anakin did to continue his training?

I'm a long time S.W fan Im 33 and I first watched 4 5 & 6 when I was around 5yrs old. and at that age, your mind and what you are aware (ur consciousness) of is not much. in understand of the way things work in this world, but S.W was the first thing in my life that really made sense. now that I'm older and I have read into legands the E.U and now cannon. I'm really starting to appreciate the depth of the universe and why most characters are the they the way they are. honestly I'm unemployed right now and I just discovered these ebooks there prefect to help understand what's all really going on and how each character is important in their own way in the development of the next generation of both sith and the Jedi. it's been a long journey something like 17 yrs I have been a fan. and still to this day I collect everything S.W! it still hold deep in who I am. thank you George Lucas

Was Palpatines goal in this comic to see if he could manipulate Anakins emotions (as the younglings talk about him being a slave to his emotions) - Or was it more about building his relationship with Anakin so he could groom him into becoming a Sith?
The latter. That’s the goal.
But of course, he would use manipulation of the emotion as a tool.
Coming back to this is amazing, how the sell this drama even if we already know how it all ends
