What i love about your channel is that you get most, if not all, of your materials from the home center, and you work with it off the shelf instead of milling it down with planers and jointers - which most DIY folks can't afford, nor have space for. Props!!!!!!
I actually just built this for my son following your plans. I have pics but could not.upload here. I am finishing another for my daughter. Thanks so much for your work and quality.
Glen your presentations are excellent, I am a DIY individual my self around my home and for close family, watching your videos have given me so many ideas and are helping me in a great way. This is the first time I am commenting on any DIY video, so this says this speaks volumes of your production. thanks a million.
This has got to be the best tutorial that I've seen on TH-cam - Can't believe that the unit didn't flinch when you stood on it - Keep up the great work!
Your video quality, production and presentation is on point. Can definite tell how more comfortable you have become narrating the videos. I've been following you for a while. You r comment and projects have been fantastic since the beginning. 1.3 million subscribers now, wow. Definitely deserved. Keep them coming.
This looks awesome! A good rule of thumb for weight when attaching things to studs from what I hear is 80 pounds per screw for those wondering. Good work man!
Wow! You are indeed the whole package when building and adding as well the electrical mechanism...The finished project it's Amazing!!! Your baby girl is so gorgeous. Gob bless your talent, work, skill and etc. and your beautiful family, and may Him keep prospering you.
Yet another great creation!👍🏾My only bits of advice for homeowners: 1) the electrical joints should be enclosed; 2) do a load calculation (add up the amperage of all of the devices) to make sure it doesn't overload the circuit, especially in older homes; 3) enjoy
Man you should be a million air,you are so precise with everything on your videos, they are really super impressive. I haven't saw a video that covers so much detail and dedication on doing the job the right way and explaining it so clearly. Keep up the amazing work ,GOD has blessed you with craftsmanship.
I simply love the work you do, I do plan on making a floating desk for my grandson before the year is out, my house will be built around July and I’ll be free to continue on my DIY journey. Thanks for all your ideas.
Bro, this is one of the most in depth instructional videos ive ever watched. im terrible at woodwork but definitely willing to give this a shot. thank you very much for an amazing video!!
*TopFineWoodworking. Com* is an amazing book about woodworking. I`m a graduate of a one-year carpentry course from a local tech college. Of all books I`ve read during my study about carpentry, I think this is the finest book I`ve read so far. It explains everything regarding woodworking as well as complements it with helpful photos.?
I have almost watched all your videos, and I'm not slowing down on wanting more of it! Keep up the creative work bro, you truly creating and adding value.
Love this! The style is great. Simple, elegant and functional. Colour scheme works well, especially against the light gray walls. My only issue is (as with one of your other vids) the weight of the finished item due to the thickness of the ply, but that's just a personal thing as I'd struggle to lift the complete unit. I liked the sneaky touch with the paper dots for locating the wireless chargers. Can't believe 477 people didn't like this, what do they know eh.
Hey there. Either I've missed it - but I didn't see any screws holding this Entertainment Center after it's mounted on the cleats.. My kids would lift it if not properly secured. All in all - awesome idea and design - LOVE it!!!
Love it man! Food for thought, those wireless chargers are really just a plastic coil, you might as well pull the plastic case off them to gain a few mm back for wireless charging clearance.
3.17m views, learn what a french cleat is, google stud finder, and when climbing try a ladder. he is building a shelf not steps. if ur carpenters don’t have tools, they must not get paid well or have regular work. or, they like to take a year to build something that takes a week.
Glen this turned out so well! Happy to have met you at WBC - you're a really humble and hard working dude. It makes watching your videos even more entertaining. Hope to run into you again soon! - Davis
Man you need some airflow in there, with so many devices it will heat the place up quite a bit. I suggest sneaking in a few small pc fans in there they are cheap and quite efficient.
I’m guessing that because he installed drawer runners that when using the media entertainment the drawers will be out therefore heat is not an issue and honestly the ipads are not an issue either
One of the best video i have watched in recent years. This video covers both of the things 1. Wall mount 2. Invisible wires Bro, can you please let us know the wiring and connection has to be done for the speakers that were mounted on the corners to the Woofers what i mean is: Speakers that were mounted to the corners of the wall and we would like to wire them back to woofer
I didn`t intend to make use of this woodworking book, *TopFineWoodworking. Com* but rather curious about it. I had been truly amazed right after trying it. It never disappointed me in my wish to acquire more information about the art of wood working. Many topics were covered, including everything from wood types to developing your workshop.?
Great! Your instruction video was exactly what I need, it was clear and easy to follow. I just need to buy a router and a jig saw, but I think I can build one myself with confidence now. Thank you so much.
Dude, seriously! I look forward to your videos but I'm totally sad that I'm not capable of this at all! Very impressive my man! I can't wait for a walk through of your place after all of your builds!
Love your style! Love that you make projects for 21st century life! One suggestion: seems like routeOmg vents somewhere inside the console would prevent media devices from overheating.
Thank you for making this project, i was thinking of ideas for a mounted tv unit and your video has solved my problem. Love this design and all the hidden touches. Cheers bud!
Just randomly found your channel and I can happily said I’m glad I did so. Your video quality and presentation is on another level. Great piece of work! You’ve gained yourself a new subscriber 👍
I love it ❤️ here in Brazil we can buy one these and we named home theater center, or painel, or rack( i don't know why because these names 😂) but is comun in living room for TV's. But when we make something whit your hands is more especial ❤️
ive been binge watching your videos or the past week now. ive always been a small "handy man" and have always loved making things. youve inspired me to start gather some wood tools and start building some things for my house. Keep the awesome videos coming :)
U make carpentry work looks easy and amazing. Love ur high tech tools. It makes u classic and u have a great presentation too. Will be following up from now. Hope to see more videos. Thanks
First...awesome build!!! Hands down the best of these "floating" media/entertainment centers. Inspired me to try and re-create one. but I messed up the dowels, (they were too big) so I ended up using wood screws and glue. One question I do have though, when you routed the holes for the wireless charging, how deep were they? I would imagine they were almost the full depth of the plywood or the wireless charging wouldnt work.
top job mate i love the way your mind works talking us through your thought process as your making the cabinet Im sure you will have a mile long queue of people if you offered a custom build and install service
Glen i enjoyed the video a quick tip for you is you need ventilation for your electronic devices so if you ever do need an idea for a future video for cooling fans Google up 110v server rack fans they're quite and they blow cold with proper ventilation we've done a ton of rack fans in entertainment stands at my old I.T job
I just discovered his videos and Man this guys channel is awesome. It's very helpful and it makes it easy to follow. The "where I'm at" feature was a great idea. I definitely subscribed and look forward to following along.
This is a great build - but you got me to sub with the "Where I'm At" Graphic in the upper corner. I love watching people build but I hate trying to guess which part they're working on when the camera work isn't so good - that wasn't a problem with your video at all, but the infographic was still a great touch! 10/10 mate!
Very Nice! I just so enjoy how neat and clean you build. You are so organized and precise and that really helps when following you along. Peace and Good Fortune to you and your family. Love the finished product.
Great Video and Build! I just found your channel recently, got some catching up to do. For my living room, I want to mix this build with the something like the pedestal from the hidden video projector project. Not only will this give me more shelves, as I won't use that space for a projector, but it will hopefully cover all the other holes that exist behind my current stand.
This is a fantastic looking entertainment area mate, it’s very cool how you’ve utilised the space available & as for the French cleat weight test I’d preferably need Viking cleats lol, great show 🍻👍
Great storage idea love the pull out shelves be ideal to have this for my ps2,ps3,ps4 and ps5 when I get all consoles nicely lined up great work come and do mine for me your doing it all yourself as well you really know your work when I get mine done i think I will make mine a bit wider
What i love about your channel is that you get most, if not all, of your materials from the home center, and you work with it off the shelf instead of milling it down with planers and jointers - which most DIY folks can't afford, nor have space for. Props!!!!!!
Bro i love how you always mention all the mistakes you made..shows how honest you really are with your developments.
I actually just built this for my son following your plans. I have pics but could not.upload here. I am finishing another for my daughter. Thanks so much for your work and quality.

I love your taste. Too many guys finished their projects in "clear coat" but white looks stylish and elegant.
"to each is own"
This has got to be the best tutorial that I've seen on TH-cam - Can't believe that the unit didn't flinch when you stood on it - Keep up the great work!
I LOVE the “where I’m at” in the corner.. you’re killing it man!
Your video quality, production and presentation is on point. Can definite tell how more comfortable you have become narrating the videos. I've been following you for a while. The professionalism of the video editing on top of your craftsmanship is really impressive.
And I am SO jealous of your workshop and tools! Bravo
Whole setup looks killer gorgeous, one would never know about all the wires behind!!
Dude! You are probably the smartest builder I have seen!
And you are also decked to the brim on builder weaponry!
This looks awesome! A good rule of thumb for weight when attaching things to studs from what I hear is 80 pounds per screw for those wondering. Good work man!

This video is gold! I'm amazed with the clean look and the fact it held a grown man it's definitely a solid build! Great job!

I haven't saw a video that covers so much detail and dedication on doing the job the right way and explaining it so clearly. Keep up the amazing work ,GOD has blessed you with craftsmanship.
Great video and build -- the result is super clean! I'm glad you walked on it to show everyone how strong those french cleats are.
I had my doubts about French Cleats until I saw him walking on it
I bet you have everything piece of tools ever invented for carpentry. I’m jealous in a good I’m happy for you way. I love all your work.
naturally gifted jealous too 😂
Thank you. It took years to get these :).
I simply love the work you do, I do plan on making a floating desk for my grandson before the year is out, my house will be built around July and I’ll be free to continue on my DIY journey. Thanks for all your ideas.

Great build bro. You killed it.
This person is creating clear, clean and cool wood working videos, I like it too.
Awesome build. I didn’t think it would be strong but man did you prove me wrong.
Your work should be taught all over the world
Super clean work! All it needs is a cooling fan to keep the consoles cool and running quickly
Dude, your presentation and professionalism even made me click through to the VPN ad.
Great job.

Yup. Corrected.

This man fully stood on the mount!!!!

You are a wizard my man. I might just skip this step and buy one instead. Great job on the build and videos
Your work is so clean. I am amazed at how you can cut a straight line with a Jigsaw
Well done. The build, the camera work, audio, and editing. Well done.
love the "where I'm at" graphic - that really helps!

i was afraid you were going to hit the floor with wall and everything. proved to be strong.
very nice idea. as usual.
thanks for the ideas.

I m not in this profession, still i love to watch your videos.. great job dear
This DIY guy has more advanced tools than the carpenter who did furniture to my entire 3bhk home.
lmao try standing on the tv shelf 😂 bhai karcha bhar jaega 🤣🤣
Uñ
@@shakalakaboomboom1 not just table.. wall would come out along with it. Their homes are made of wood

Man, your skill and creativity never cease to amaze me!
Ever think how cool this dudes house is because of all this stuff he builds
This is one of the best DYI videos I have seen in a long long time. Great presentation and great design!
As always, your skills are on point man. I will be building a floating media shelf in the new house soon.
You should install some fans for airflow on the bottom. All your videos are excellent.
Damn... how many electronic device you have... no matter what, and has always, it is superb.
Hey dude, your work is amazing. The tutorials and instructions are very comprehensive - thanks a million and keep up the great work.
Glen this turned out so well! Happy to have met you at WBC - you're a really humble and hard working dude. It makes watching your videos even more entertaining. Hope to run into you again soon!

Alexandru Coman whenever I use my media console I have to leave the doors open. Even store bought ones don’t consider having good air flow.
Good point. A small fan directed out the bottom would work well.
I’m guessing that because he installed drawer runners that when using the media entertainment the drawers will be out therefore heat is not an issue and honestly the ipads are not an issue either
Larger fans push the same are more quietly.
I would recommend a 120mm fan
One of the best video i have watched in recent years. This video covers both of the things

Wow I’m impressed. Good work! I have no idea how I would be able to do what you just did. You make it look easy!!

That looks crazy clean, and the wireless charging install inside the drawer is cool as!
Great video!
That's a really smart way to do floating shelves, got to love french cleats.
Awesome! This is just the project i needed to get rid of my glass entertainment center and get stuff off the floor.
Great! Your instruction video was exactly what I need, it was clear and easy to follow. I just need to buy a router and a jig saw, but I think I can build one myself with confidence now. Thank you so much.
Hands down one of your best projects!
This is exactly what I've been looking to make to replace some smaller shelves under our new 75" TV, loved the way you make this sound so easy =).
Dude, seriously! I look forward to your videos but I'm totally sad that I'm not capable of this at all! Very impressive my man! I can't wait for a walk through of your place after all of your builds!
I wish I stayed near you just to learn how to do all this stuff from the master.

You are one of the fastest growing channels I have seen. Congratulations on that. I like the "where I'm at" touch you use.
Brother, you are amazing! Thank You for all your time putting these videos together!
It's simple design and simple construction, but it's a big impact. TQ for sharing the ideas. Keep it up.
Very nice work. You are not just talented but your instructions are very clear. Thanks for the video
This is outstanding. I've been thinking about building the same thing and this build simplifies what I had in mind. Brilliant! Great job!
So talented! Best channel on TH-cam for any professional diy projects. God bless you! Your skills are truly amazing!! 🎉
I am just fascinated with all those tools 😬
I love it ❤️ here in Brazil we can buy one these and we named home theater center, or painel, or rack( i don't know why because these names 😂) but is comun in living room for TV's.

dohhhhh that pull out tray charging station is bad ass great idea.
This is a great build - but you got me to sub with the "Where I'm At" Graphic in the upper corner. I love watching people build but I hate trying to guess which part they're working on when the camera work isn't so good - that wasn't a problem with your video at all, but the infographic was still a great touch! 10/10 mate!
The fab art and people want something very new like that. Clean and neat
Great video. Got me to build my own. Wish I could post it in the comments to give others the confidence to do same. Thanks loads for the tutorial.
Just the solution I've been looking for to sort out my TV mess. Those handles look a bit lethal though, sharp edges.
Very Nice! I just so enjoy how neat and clean you build. You are so organized and precise and that really helps when following you along. Peace and Good Fortune to you and your family. Love the finished product.

This is a fantastic looking entertainment area mate, it’s very cool how you’ve utilised the space available & as for the French cleat weight test I’d preferably need Viking cleats lol, great show 🍻👍
All this channel tells me is that I don’t nearly have as many tools as I need to do these projects at home.
The "Where I'm at" thumbnail is awesome. So useful.
love your work brother!! Very neat and creativity is on point
