I bought and was gifted a ton of bows for my daughter, and was SO excited to put them on her. But….she absolutely hated it even as a newborn. She just seemed frustrated with it and as she got older she would pull them off after like a minute of wearing it. Needless to say, I gave up and rarely ever used them 😅 she’s almost 2 now and does enjoy stacking them on her arms like bracelets now though 🤷🏻♀️😂

I did put them on as newborns, but I got freaked out when a bow slipped down over one of their faces, which could have been a suffocation hazard, so make sure when they’re tiny that they only where their bows when supervised, and never leave them on when they’re sleeping. Girl mom here - I never used a bow. She had a ton of hair from birth so I always used pony tails to style her hair. I think the amount of use you get with them heavily depends on whether they tolerate them. Love all of the clothes!!

She doesn't even have much hair, but it's enough for them to fall off. I like the stretchy thick band bows the best. But the thin ones with the prettier little bows are my second favorite.

I remember when I was pregnant with my twin girls I used to say I wasn't going to math them very often, that they could just share clothes.. that definitely isn't the case 😂 Also, HUGE bow fan, the bigger the better for me 😂😍 They really do make even the simplest outfits so much cuter 🥹 But the store bought bows usually run large for newborns, so I always buy handmade bows from small shops. They're bigger, they're cuter and they come in sizes, perfect for newborns 💕

My baby girl is 7 weeks old now and regarding bows we put them on her when we go out and we always alternate or bring a beanie on colder days with us. Around the house sometimes we put her in a bow but with naps they fall off. My favorite bows so far are the ones with the super soft stretchy nylon bands. Those don't mark their heads and grow with them.
I always struggled with baby socks! My third, who is 5 months lives in "Little Sleepies" footie jammies and Gigi and Max (which I highly recommend trying out because they are such an awesome company). I also love Loulou lollipop brand. They're Canadian, like me.
My daughter wore head band bows for about 10 months before she started refusing them. And when I say she wore them I mean for like pictures and if we would go out. Daily at home it didn’t make sense to have her in them since you should take them off when they nap so I would put one on at the beginning of the day and then forget to put one back on after her first nap. After 10 months she was able to wear hair clip bows and she wore those for about 2 days before she realized and started ripping them out. Shes now almost 2 and wears hair elastic bows to daycare and for the most part leaves them in. However, I usually just put her hair up in plastic elastics and call it a day. Definitely take advantage of the bows when they are little babes 💗
The bows are so cute, and I did use them a bit but I always found it left a red line on my little ones head and I always worried about the pressure on her soft spot. I ended up opting for the little clip bows luckily she had lots of hair. But you’ll just have to feel it out!
With bows I get the barrette kind and clip them to plain white or grey infant hats. Then I can change the color of the bow easily to match my 3 month old's outfit and if my 3 year old lets me, I can use the same barrette bows in her hair too.
My little only wears bows with wide and soft bands… BUT we use them every single time I put her in an actual outfit… and even sometimes in her sleepers if I have one that matches lol
I literally put a bow on my daughter like 3 days after birth lol love bows I will say the thinner bands usually stay on better maybe the fabric doesn’t catch and move when they move their head but I loved all the bows quite literally now my daughter is 3 and she loves matching and picking her own bows ❤

I bought a ton of bows when pregnant, wish I hadn't because she has a ton of hair and I hated the headband bows. I mostly used bow clips (clip on bows). Once I knew that and started our collection of clip on bows, we still are using those same ones 3 years later as DD turns 3 very soon. :)

I had my baby girl in bows since day one… I love smaller bows for everyday but big ones just for fun bc they’re not super practical sadly … GET THEM FROM AMAZON!!!! you get a TON of bows super cheap in a pack! don’t waste money on $10-$20 for one bow… you can get a whole pack for that! :) My daughter is 15 months now and she still wears them and when she’s older I’m going to cut the bands off and glue on alligator clips to clip on her pony tails
The stretchy bow headbands .. can go well into toddler years … my two year old baby girl now uses them as ties for her ponytails… don’t lose those bows ! Lol
Bows...the thin ones..especially the nylon ones....I LOVED how cute they were but they always cause an indent in their heads so the hubby being very concerned said no more 😂 so this baby girl I'm sticking to the thicker bands and doing the knotted turbans...but baby will be born in October in Minnesota so having her head covered is definitely helpful

Target bows are adorable and will work eventually but in my girl mom experience they were too big for my baby girl for the first couple of months, buying nylon bow packs from Amazon are great for that time before cloud island bows fit ❤️❤️❤️
My advice for bows is put bows on them from day one so they can get used to them! My daughter wore bows from the moment we moved from L&D to maternity 🤣 I didn’t take them off of her until she was out of swaddles and could rip them off in her sleep, but if she was awake, she was wearing a bow! 🎀🎀

I just had baby number 5. I only have about 5 or 6 newborn and 0-3months one piece footie pj's. I don't buy sock because I only loose them. For my girls I get the tights because they can't take them off instead of socks

I rarely did bows just because the store bought ones were gigantic for my daughter. It seemed like it went from gigantic to way too small in a matter of weeks. A friend of mine would make her own bows for her daughter. She did it out of her old dance leotards. My daughter also had tons and tons of hair since birth so I did ponytails like bam bam from the Flinstones. I never knew a baby that needed a haircut at 2 months old.
My daughter is 13 months and I’ve only used her bows a number of times for pictures because she keeps taking it off or it falls off 😂 I prefer bows on hair clips because it doesn’t fall off as easily and I can clip it on her ponytail where she can’t take it off too
If you keep losing your baby socks , buy a small mesh bag and attach it to your laundry hamper and when you do laundry you can keep them in the bag so you don't lose them ❤️

FTM to a 4 month old rainbow baby girl! RE socks: Sock-Ons!!! You can find them on Amazon but they have better color options direct from their site. They’re little neoprene sleeves you can slide over their socks and they’ll keep them on all day!
I had a boy first and then a girl and I hardly ever use bows. Only for special occasions and even then I forget half the time. 😂 I'm sure you will do much better than me in the bow category

My daughter LOVES bows. The only advice I can give is at the newborn stage be careful with the band bows. It can irritate their skin and they can’t wear them for very long.

Where did you get your sweater from?
Have 2 girls 15months apart I match dem any chance I get. I loved putting bows on them till they started pulling dem off 😅. Girls stuff are so cute 😍. Hoping to have a boy next to see how that will feel 💙 ☺️
I’m in California and my daughter is 9.5 months wearing 6-9 and so many people gifted her 6-9 short sleeve dresses 🫢 I thought she’d be 6-9 in the summer as well cause she was born in March but I guess she’s itty bitty!
I bought so many bows and literally never used them ☹️ I was always scared of them sliding over her nose when she was sleeping so I always took them off and babies sleep all the time so I gave up lol
I just had baby number 5. I only have about 5 or 6 newborn and 0-3months one piece footie pj's. I don't buy sock because I only loose them. For my girls I get the tights because they can't take them off instead of socks
bows that clip in are a no-go unless they have a lot of hair
My two girls (3/4) have an older brother, and they both refuse to wear dresses and bows.They barely even let me do their hair 😭 Hopefully that changes when theyre a bit older.
My daughters rip their bows off whenever I put them on… you would think that would make me stop buying them but nope lol. So cute, I put them on and snap a pic before they get ripped off 😂
Try a product called ‘sock ons’. You put them on top of socks and it stops them falling off 👍 best of luck with the end of pregnancy!
I rarely did bows just because the store bought ones were gigantic for my daughter. It seemed like it went from gigantic to way too small in a matter of weeks. A friend of mine would make her own bows for her daughter. She did it out of her old dance leotards. My daughter also had tons and tons of hair since birth so I did ponytails like bam bam from the Flinstones. I never knew a baby that needed a haircut at 2 months old.
My daughter is 13 months and I’ve only used her bows a number of times for pictures because she keeps taking it off or it falls off 😂 I prefer bows on hair clips because it doesn’t fall off as easily and I can clip it on her ponytail where she can’t take it off too
If you keep losing your baby socks , buy a small mesh bag and attach it to your laundry hamper and when you do laundry you can keep them in the bag so you don't lose them ❤️

FTM to a 4 month old rainbow baby girl! RE socks: Sock-Ons!!! You can find them on Amazon but they have better color options direct from their site. They’re little neoprene sleeves you can slide over their socks and they’ll keep them on all day!
Also, the best bows I’ve found are the knit ones from copper pearl and the oversized nylon ones from Amazon! The target bows are massive!
Day in the life
I had a boy first and then a girl and I hardly ever use bows. Only for special occasions and even then I forget half the time. 😂 I'm sure you will do much better than me in the bow category

My daughter LOVES bows. The only advice I can give is at the newborn stage be careful with the band bows. It can irritate their skin and they can’t wear them for very long.
Girl mom here: my girl has straight fine hair and I realized 1. The bow needs to fit perfectly 2. Could be a suffocation hazard 3. She’ll eventually try to rip it off her head. So I used them in pictures or when we went out. The turban seems more practical
