As a professional dino wrangler, I believe a few mistakes were made by these hunters. I never recommend chasing the dinosaur or the use of loud vehicles which can stress the dinosaurs out. The pachycephalosaur once it was tranquilized and lassoed should've had a blanket placed over its head in order to calm the animal down.
"The one... The one with the big red horn- The pompador. Pelvis!" How is that not a wide memorable quote from the series, especially for the Parasaurolophus?
Incidentally, that line was actually referring to Corythosaurus -- you can even hear him trying to pronounce it -- but they decided to use Parasaurolophus instead, probably because they already had the 3D model from the first movie.
One of my favorite JP scenes, I love that Lost World score cue (OST) and the projection of power here, super American. We may be a nasty species, but man we can rule anything. Amazing scene. Love the side-doors.
When i went to cinema to watch it the screening was so crowded they used their backup copy to improvise another screening in parallel for the extra viewers. At the end the movie received massive clapping. Not the hated movie some tell you it was.

This is trained mercenaries with expensive equipment multiple vehicles, tranquilizers, paleontologists and a list of all the dinosaurs on the island. The power of the pachy in its scene sheds to light that even smaller herbivores are dangerous. Imagine if it was cavemen trying to capture the pachy without the car to restrain it, tranq rifles to sedate it. Losing lives by the animals escape at camp, ambushed and whittled down in number more by the Rexs ambush, slaughtered more by stumbling out of the pan into the fire by escaping the rexs only to run into the velociraptors hunting ground. Sure they succeed and get dinosaurs off the island and the survivors get paid, we see a lot of mercenaries with the captured buck, but that doesn’t negate the MASSIVE losses they took.
At the 1:12 mark that Hummer takes a serious nose dive and sustained big time front end damage. If you pause it you can see the hood fly open as metal parts are thrown from the truck. I wonder if this was by design?
The dinosaurs seen on the dinosaur sheets by the InGen: Brachiosaurus Compsognathus Dilophosaurus Gallimimus Mamenchisaurus Pachycephalosaurus Parasaurolophus Pteranodon Stegosaurus Triceratops Tyrannosaurus Rex Velociraptor
The Geosternbergia was probably known as a Pteranodon at the time, so this is probably why it looks like and says Pteranodon, and yes, Corythosaurus is on the Ingen Field Guide, but it’s labeled as Corinthosaurus and Carinthosaurus at the time, so the hadrosaur was cut from the film, along with Apatosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Dilophosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Carnotaurus, and possible Baryonyx, Microceratus, and Edmontosaurus, and explains why they weren’t in the film, and the Pachycephalosaurus growth stage that contained both Stygimoloch and Dracorex wasn’t known at the time of the film, and Pachyrhinosaurus, Euoplocephalus, Herrerasaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, Segisaurus, and Dimorphodon weren’t cloned yet, so mabey in an alternate timeline of Ludlow brought the Compies, Trikes, Stegos, Gallis, Para, Pachys, and the Rexes, after enough money was given, another expedition for the female Rex, a Mamenchisaurus, a Brachiosaurus, a Carnotaurus pair, the trio of Baryonyx from Camp Cretaceous, two Dilos, three to eight Microceratus, an Edmontosaurus, Two Velociraptors, and three Pteranodons, then they would’ve cloned Ankylosaurus, Corythosaurus, Pachyrhinosaurus, Euoplocephalus, Metriacanthosaurus, Segisaurus, Dimorphodon, and Herrerasaurus.

Jurassic park is the reason why I love Jeeps
Jeeps are cool, but I believe these vehicles are Mercedes.
@@daustin8888 Both Jeeps and Mercedes were used in Jurassic Park and World Movies.
Lmao Very true and more accurate😂😂
Jurassic world should had taken inspiration from that scene, we saw nothing abort their hunt trip on isla nublar.
I love the weapons and vehicles in this! So cool. Kinda reminds me of dino riders...
Imagine ingen calling you asking do you want a job capturing dinosaurs or even working with them. Me I’d pack my bags and be ready to go
Even after the hippies pretty much stranded me on the island with dinosaurs I'd have no regrets
@@dionwoollaston5717 But at least you have to teach Nick Owen a lesson for endangering the group
Damn…Spielberg knows how to direct
Of course he is one of the top GOATS in directing films.
The Lost World is not without its flaws but damn this sequence was amazing
1:11 I don't know why but that Humvee jump made me laugh so hard😂
In irl, the Humvee would have survived but he would’ve broken his asscheeks because Humvee seats don’t have cushion, or he would’ve flown out the window
Roland Tembo is my most favorite charactor of JP francise ❤
this could've been the whole movie tbh... just a bunch of dino hunting. also rich dentist hunting game has been going on for a long time huh?
As a professional dino wrangler, I believe a few mistakes were made by these hunters.
I never recommend chasing the dinosaur or the use of loud vehicles which can stress the dinosaurs out. The pachycephalosaur once it was tranquilized and lassoed should've had a blanket placed over its head in order to calm the animal down.
2:28 *FINISH HIM*
Pachycephalosaurus rams guy through truck
*FATALITY*
"The one... The one with the big red horn- The pompador. Pelvis!"
How is that not a wide memorable quote from the series, especially for the Parasaurolophus?
Incidentally, that line was actually referring to Corythosaurus -- you can even hear him trying to pronounce it -- but they decided to use Parasaurolophus instead, probably because they already had the 3D model from the first movie.
4:01 I like how Carter thinks he's cool lol
One of my favorite JP scenes, I love that Lost World score cue (OST) and the projection of power here, super American. We may be a nasty species, but man we can rule anything. Amazing scene. Love the side-doors.
1:12 I don’t think that Humvee survived that jump
Lol
But it did
I loved this as a child.
Me too
I used to reenact this scene with my action figures in my hallway when I was a kid. I also liked Rodney dangerfield.
I love that fella that looks like Picard
Omg, it’s not just me that thinks that!
For a 1997 movie special effects are incredible and the chase looks better than the one in the beginning of Dominion
When i went to cinema to watch it the screening was so crowded they used their backup copy to improvise another screening in parallel for the extra viewers. At the end the movie received massive clapping. Not the hated movie some tell you it was.
I love this scene so much but I get sad for the pachy every time, his revenge was satisfying tho
This dwarf pachy is soooo cute!
1:12 driver has a ball of steel
Came back to see this after seeing "Jurassic World Dominion". Why can't they do something like this make all dinosaurs scary and also attacking mammal.
1:37 Mamenchisaurus. How were they planning on capturing them, exactly?
They was never going two in the first place it’s literally the largest sauropod on isla Sorna
Just the guys having a fun time. The real heroes of this movie
Always love Peter's face at 1:40 seeing the dinosaurs for the first time after he said everyone was lying for money.
They hunt in coordinated attack patterns.
Now I want to make my Subaru Forester look like one of those InGen vehicles. Camo netting and all!
I like that Roland never died
That rich dentists line has aged like fine wine 🍷
This movie is underrated and the chief hunter was the best character by far.
3:35: Always Loved that Shot of the Dinosaurs Running with John Williams Theme in the Background👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’ll let you know when I was a kid. This is probably like one of the coolest scenes in the Jurassic Park series and plus I always love the vehicles in the scenes
Haha, I love that bald guy with the cowboy head.
0:30-1:10 is better than the entire Jurassic World trilogy
The humvee taking a nose dive always killed me for some reason lol
1:11 the humvee driver definitely ate shit on that landing 😆
InGen: "Right lads, there are billions of dollars worth of assets on the line here, some of which are very dangerous. So drive as dangerously as you can over rough unknown terrain. And if you're an outrider, try to show off with a sauropod."
"Aren't you coming to San Diego?"
"No thank you. I've spent enough time in the company of death."
Roland and Muldoon are the best characters in the entire Jurassic franchise, no doubt in my mind.
Roland Tembo es como una versión villana de Robert Muldoon, aunque no necesariamente lo sea siendo que solo cumple su trabajo como mercenario contratado por InGen.
This scene alone beats Jurassic World Dominion 🤩🤩👏👏
Swedish guy shooting the dinosaur
Peter Stormare.
Codename: Dieter Stark
Codename: Russian guy from Armageddon.
Such an amazing scene all in all
1:19 I swear that when I saw this scene I wanted a list of those and my older sister who studied design gave me a very similar version, created by her, to this day I still have that list
The music in the video (especially in the second half) is amazing
I love the sound of the mamenchisaurus in this movie
2:08 so that's how the sound of the Pachycephalosaurus
This is what a movie should be, not the crap we see nowadays
Yep
I really don’t like the new movies I think they try to much on the acting and cgi well I mean the cgi is good but they gotta fix the acting oldies are the best
1:10 Tell me what you want, but after THIS jump, the Humvee was definitely scrap metal!
@Dick Trickle he’s definitely lost a few teeth😂
RIP Driver
Roland's monologue is the best in this scene
4:06 imagine if there was a tree or a large bolder right as the seat slid out
Dieter Stark would've been in trouble before even encountering the Compies
Imagine the San Diego Incident of 1997 if the dinosaurs on Ingen's list were captured successfully💀
1:10 satisfying engine revving and jump.🤩
Probably ludlow was the main antogonist...
But...Nick...is the most evil villain...
I know you…. You’re that Earth First bastard aren’t you…?
The dinosaurs seen on the dinosaur sheets by the InGen:
Brachiosaurus
Compsognathus
Dilophosaurus
Gallimimus
Mamenchisaurus
Pachycephalosaurus
Parasaurolophus
Pteranodon
Stegosaurus
Triceratops
Tyrannosaurus Rex
Velociraptor
How do you know that
Jennifer Absher official Ingen list, look it up on the internet or dinosaur protection group site
Corythosaurus was also on the sheet by ingen
You forgot geosternbergia was on the sheet
Superb scene in entire Jurassic franchise. Roland's character is best
Friar tuck and Elvis 😁😁😁
Her: I bet hes out cheating rn
Him: **out with the boys hunting dinosaurs**
