    Aren’t the fans supposed to be blowing OUTWARDS? That’s what it says on Nukit’s website. They are blowing inwards in the video.

      Sorry for confusion the fans were pushing outwards and pulling in from the filter sides. More detail on my build here: th-cam.com/video/Fm43E5rO9Ro/w-d-xo.html

      @@HouseFreshMy bad, I just realized that the PC fans don’t work like a house fan and blow air from the opposite direction of the fan face where the logo is. Now I see that your fans are blowing outwards as installed.

      @@Bete-Bete-Bete No worries, I was worried I would get this wrong so tested it a few times to make sure I didn't do it!

    Why there is 6 fans? Why not 9? More 3 from back site will help for more airflow.

      I'm not sure on the decision why Nukit decided to go with 6, but I assume it's just to keep the size not much bigger than a standard PC case.
      Cleanairkits makes its own PC fan kits, and you can choose from 5, 7, 9 or 10 fans, depending on your needs.
      I tested the Clean Air Kits XL that uses 7 fans and it was quicker at cleaning our test room but also is quite a bit larger and a little more difficult to move around due to the shape.

    It'll be more expensive, but if you don't want to be replacing your fans as often you may want to swap out the fans for something with Mag-Lev Bearing types, they also tend to be quieter too.

      We have been discussing this internally, thanks for sharing the bearing type. We will look at potential improvements we can make.

      @@HouseFresh Another option would be using more Noctua high static pressure CPU fans to save more power or if you want to use more filter medium.

    It looks like it ended up taller on the power side - is that an optical illusion from the wonky pleats in the filter, or is something not slotted all the way in, or...?

    • @HouseFresh
      @HouseFresh  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Might be the camera angel or the wonky pleats - both sides were the same height at the end. Will make sure to show more of the unit in the review - I'm busy working on it today.
      Thanks for the comment!

    Hey, I really like 3M filters but could not find one for 20x20x2 with MERV 13 ratings. Is there going to be a version that's compatible with a 3M filter size?

    • @HouseFresh
      @HouseFresh  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Agree I really like the 3m but there doesn't seem to be a 2 inch version. I will speak with the team at Nukit and see if there are plans to have a version that can use 3M filters.
