I actually bought this fan set 4-5 years ago, the price is about the same and the fans have been working really well this whole time. I've moved them into 3 different cases and I've still not had any issues. I do recommend them if you just need fans to move air.
My experience with them is the complete opposite, unfortunately. I bought a pack back in March last year to use as case fans in one of my home servers and they're rubbish. Four of them are clipping really bad at anything above ~550 rpm. I don't know when it started but I noticed it in late December when I was doing some maintenance/cleaning on several of my computers. I don't care about them failing, like Jay said they're almost disposable. But their performance is worse than having some tiny pet mouses coughing at your heatsinks.
@@CapaNoisyCapa Oh no 😅 I felt so good about them after reading the comment you replied to. I guess part of the thrill is the not knowing how they’ll hold up. Life on the edge!
@Ugga Bugga @Ugga Bugga I'm super picky about noise. Funnily enough I never could hear the infamous Gentle Typhoon motor bearing noise since I've started using them in 2011 (og Nidec and Servo, Scythe, XPG) but I can't stand any AIO because of the pump "hum". Even high end D5 pumps are starting to annoy me. I'm past my forties and my hearing is severely limited above 16Khz, FWIW. Harmonics varies a lot from one person to another because our head and torso. I c
then you had more luck than me. i bought a set of cheap fans that jay recommended and ive had nothing but trouble. the first problem is that they were RGB fans that wouldnt work with my motherboards rgb headers, they occasionally work but i have no ability to control them so its currently at rainbow puke mode all the time. second problem the lubrication or oil or whatever is in the bearing of these fans apparently vanished and theyre insanely loud from time to time. but im happy that the ones you got worked out :)
IMO you can also just go with the 5 pack of Arctic P12’s for $35, and still have 4 pin PWM control, and they are also pretty quiet and perform well. Edit: A ton of other comments already pointed this out too
I love how so many people just mention the Arctic P12 or P14. Those are really good fans. Especially when considering the price. When the Fractal Design R6 came out I bought it and was really disappointed in the fans it came with. They pushed no air and when maxed out at 1000rpm where really loud and annoying. Then I wanted to replace them with some Noctua's but then I saw the price for the Noctua ones and researched a bit more thus I found the Arctic ones. I love the P14's I bought. The noise dropped, they moved more air even at really low rpm so much so that the temperatures for the GPU, CPU and VRM of the motherboard dropped by 10C compared to the Fractal ones at max rpm. Yes the Arctic ones running at lower rpm beat the Fractal ones at max rpm, and by a lot.
Glad to see you repping the OG brands who deserve a bit more love. I still use Antec and Arctic alongside other brands depending on use case and budget, just as you went discussed. Always worth considering.
All the PC I've built in recent years were using Arctic fans... They are awesome. P12 and P14 are really silent, reliable and with great performance and they cost 5-8€ a piece. I'm glad even those brands are getting some recognition
They are not the OG Antec that we all knew and loved. They failed to keep up with the market and went downhill after being purchased by some Taiwanese company in the 2010s. It was disappointing as I had both LANBoy I and II cases, multiple TruePower Trio and Earth Watt PSUs for my old AMD Athlon XP builds that I still use to this day. Even had their PSU tester and various LED fans that were single color LEDs in the 2005 era.
@@NightMotorcyclist oh that's really disappointing. I still have a couple of Antec cases in use today! Boo... As well as a bunch of Arctic fans, brackets, plus my cupboard at home and at work always has stocks of Arctic Silver.
I did a refresh on my aging system last summer and put 4 of these in my case. I chose them because the price was right, I recognized the name, and they weren't some weird color like brown and beige. Yeah, they felt a little cheap in the hand (as you'd expect) but I was surprised at how well they seemed to move air and how quiet they were. The white blades reflect what little light I do have going on in there, which I think looks pretty classy.
Jay, make sure you check out the Arctic F12 fans too - they have them in a couple different versions(3-pin, 4-pin, standard cable or daisy chainable), $30 for a 5-pack, ~$5 a piece! I tell everyone that builds their own PCs that they've gotta get a pack of them whether they need them or not, they're just too convenient for too good of a price! Nice to see the Antec name, always liked their products too. Right in the same area as Arctic, nice quality products for budget prices.
Arctic P12 are also good pick for similar price and if you want 140mm fans you can pick P14... All PC I've built in recent years are using Arctic fans. It's amazing how cheap yet awesome those fans are
All my budget builds featured Arctic P12 as they were very cheap for 120mm fans but performed well above their price class and they're PWM. Unfortunately more people became more in the know about them and they are now constantly out of stock at my local Micro Center.
Antec! I actually just moved my computer to an Antec case, the P10 FLUX, because I wanted a modern case that was roomy, quiet, and has a 5.25-inch bay for a Blu-ray drive (yes, I still collect physical discs, I'm old, lol). Very pleased with it so far.
@Ugga Bugga lol, I think you missed the point. When one of whatever fans you have fails(because everything has a lifespan), one of these are what you pull off the shelf and throw in to get you by until you get a replacement. No shit that fans you're getting for $6 a piece aren't as nice as fans that cost $35 a piece...
+1 to the recommendations for the Arctic PWM 5-pack. Bought a pack when the fan bearings on my Corsair AIO wore out and to add some extra airflow to my gpu. Pleased with the price, build quality, performance, and noise.
The main difference between controlling DC vs PWM fans is that PWM "can" start/rotate as lower speeds. The reason PWM is able to start at a slower speed is because you are essentially strobing the fan with 12V, and 12V can overcome the static friction required to get the fan moving from a stand still. Since DC fans vary the input voltage, once the voltage gets below a certain point, you won't be able to overcome the aforementioned static friction required to get the blade moving. So some of you might have guessed, as the fan ages the static friction increases. In the case of PWM this won't become an issue until the static friction becomes quite high. It will have a noticeable affect on DC fans. So new the fan may be able to start at 5V @ 600RPM, over time it may increase to 6V at 700RPM. Now I'm picking these numbers out of the air. The actual numbers depend upon the rated maximum RPM of the fan.
My goto fans are Arctic P12 fans. They move around 66CFM, good static pressure, and can easily be daisy chained. They cost about $32 for a 5 pack, that's about $6.50 a fan. I can't think of anything else to use than those for very cheap fans.
As of today those f12 non gen fans are on Amazon for 19.99 plus 10% more off. Antec has been a great company since the beginning. Thanks again for taking your time to create content❤
Going through the Amazon price history is pretty cool. In 2019 these hit Amazon at $45, spent most of their life at$25, before hitting $20 in June of 2020. Jan 31, 2023 saw them drop to $18 before the Jay bump shot them back up to $25 on Feb 4th at 2 AM
Honestly, I miss the days when Antec was a known brand and effectively the gold standard. They used to make the best cases, power supplies, fans, coolers.
I bought and used these in my first build. They're still running today. They did pick up some noise but their ability to move air never diminished. Definitely recommend as well, especially if you're staying away from RGB. First time, on a budget build? DEFINITELY recommend these. As a side note, after such an agreeable experience with these fans, I've considered the Antec name in other products.
I actually love white blade fans. I specifically prefer black frame and white blade, the look of it while spinning somehow looks great in my black case.
From the same guy that I saw saying many times that the fans that come with some cases were "garbage". Garbage or not, I'm glad that you are trying to see it from a different perspective.
Not only are those fans still available but they also are in black now. As well as a little more you can get them with a colored led. As for the voltage they probably can do upto 24v since most stuff like that is actually designed as far as I know to run from around 9v to 24v sometimes up to the low 30s. Its the cheapos that cant or the modern overpriced stuff (surprise, overengineer something it becomes less flexible!) XD. Oh and a note on measuring the cfm, dont worry about trying to be super accurate. One fan to another can vary so wildly that being precise doesnt matter and ballparking it for us is probably more accurate. Only time it needs to be precise is if you are testing the manufactures' claims (which is really more a gamers nexus thing), I think for what you are doing/trying to show, this setup is perfect. (Also please keep making content like this!)
I will stick with Arctic P12s for a long time tbh. They are bit more expensive (Tip: Arctic constantly makes discounts in eBay through its own shop If you buy at least 4 of them without the packaging and screws). Independent testing showed that P12s are pretty much as good as Noctua NF A12s, while being just a bit louder at high RPMs and having a slight noise from the rotor. On the plus side, they sell them in black and white, each one with either solid or color matched trasparent blades. Also: Gigabyte motherboards are known to be tricky sometimes with DC fans, most of the time the motherboard isn't able to regulate voltage, so they stay either completely off or at 12V.
I have 5 Antec fans that I installed on the original Antec 300 13 years ago and they all still work! Two of them in the front have blue leds and still light up!
I've been wanting some reviews on Antec fans. I picked up some Antec Storm PWM fans that looked really good, haven't put them in yet. Also a good value depending on the price you snag them at. I think I paid $35 for 5. Great work on getting some content out for the budget conscious PC people! ^_^
I'm on the $7 Arctic P12 5 pack train. The 3-pin fan is an odd duck vs 4-pin. PWM can just run slower. HOWEVER, ALL 3-pin fans can be completely turned off without requiring an extra mobo feature. You want quiet at idle? 400 RPM is good. Off is king.
Haha, these are the same fans I bought to fill out my most recent build. Some day I might build an RGB rig, but I spend approximately 0 minutes a day admiring my case. Plus, the low cost let me get a couple other peripherals my budget originally didn't have room for.
Been using Arctic p12 and p14 fans for years, they are 4 pin and also daisy chain and don't use molex. they are slightly more expensive but not by much and these are an acceptable option if you can't put more towards your fan budget.
@@antonijodoncevic128 yeah their price to performance is insane, are the antec cheaper? yes. are they as good as the slightly more expensive 5 pack of pwn p12's? no.
on a similar note, i recently built my dad a workstation desktop PC on a budget. I used the Zalman T6 case (great budget case, by the way) but it only had one 120mm fan installed with the case. I bought fans from an Amazon brand called "uphere", and i got a 3-pack of their 120mm fans for only 10.99! They're only 3-pin fans like these, come in both black AND white models, and get up to 2200 rpm at only 19dbA, with a claimed 38CFM, which is very impressive for how cheap they were. And truth be told, once I installed them in the system and set up fan curves for them, had you not known better, you wouldn't ever know the fans were under $4 a piece.
UpHere has a 3 pack of 120mm that run $10-$13 on Amazon and come in white or black that work well and are even cheaper. The real added advantage is that they come in white. I used them recently when I rebuilt my tower in a new NZXT case with a white theme.
I had Antec's Prizm fans in my old case, they were cheap at the time, like 10 bucks a fan I think, came in a 5 pack. Looked awesome with the RGB rings, moved plenty of air. But they were kind of loud compared to what I use now, Thermaltake's Toughfan 12s (clone of Noctua's NF-A12x25). I have been considering going back because I kind of miss the RGB, and the rings on the Prizms looked really good.
I did a build for a friend a few weeks back and I had him buy a 5 pack of all black antec fans that were pwm and daisy chainable for $35. They worked flawlessly would 100% use them in my own system.
My custom watercooling PC is equiped with 10 Arctic P12 and for 25€ a pack of 5, it's a steal. Yes it's not as silent or efficient with radiators compared to a Noctua, but it gets the job done perfectly
I went for a budget option for my (similarly budget) case, buying a set of $4-$5 120mm fans made by a Polish company called SilentiumPC. These ones though use a 4-pin PWM connector, and each fan has a secondary male 3-pin plug, letting you chain them together and plug multiple fans into a single header on the mobo. They also reach almost 2500 RPM according to Fan Control, which is pretty decent. Perfectly sufficient for my build, although they do get noticeably loud at around 50-60%, and above 80% are just downright noisy. But for that price, I'm very happy. Budget gear can be pretty damn good.
I ordered some early in the video. I have bought them before but had forgotten about them. They are in a grandson's PC and still work fine. It has only been like 6 or 7 months, they are in a cheap case that has mounts for 3 fans in the front and 2 on the PSU cover/cage. When it's late and noise is low, you still can't hear his PC but the temps are low. This box is for another PC give away, it's OLD (FX8350 with GTX 970) but will have a 22" 1080p display (that came with my Dell SFF I run my 7D2D server on) and mouse and keyboard for free to someone (LOCALLY). Deals like this help keep the cost down, thanks.
I'm actually upgrading my case right now. Due to it being ancient and poorly optimized for thermals and this is literally perfect as I only have 3 working very LOUD fans. If these are as quiet as they seem, I'll be a very happy camper for the price.
I have been using Antec spark RGB fan for three years now and it's never failed or had a issue with RGB or PWM . I recommend the brand based on how well these have been working.
I personally run 5x140 Arctic P14s. They're quiet at ~35% PWM, cost $35, no RGB nonsense, and they easily cool my 6900XT + 5600x in a NZXT H7 Flow. I have a max fan profile of 50% for the GPU & a Scythe FUMA 2. My keyboard is multiple times louder than the system itself at full load.
2:19 THIS: If you can't buy a PWM fan because it is out of stock, get the DC 3-pin version and have your motherboard control it. I've done this many times, you can't tell the difference if they are setup properly. 3:19 Black (0) And White (255) work with any color because they are shades (256 grey scale). 3:25 Nice fan mod. If you or your partner scrapbook, check the toolbox, you may have a punch. 4:38 0.15A X 5 = 0.75A Technically they should work on a 1A header, with lots of overhead. I would still heed Jay's advice and only use that many fans on a 2A header. 4:58 These fans would probably work well as replacements for old mid to large tower. If they are gone and you can afford it, $11.00 will get you the be quiet! Pure Wings 2 120mm PWM 51.4 CFM at 20.2 dB.
I’ve got two different brand of random three pack, single color LED fans in the past, each about $16 for a three pack, and I’ll have done just fine. I know you can certainly get better, but I think $30-$40 for a fan is absurd.
never been a fan (lol) of pwm case fans. I'd rather get some silent budget static speed fans, because ultimately with how fast cpu frequency and temps shift they are always too late to be beneficial. by the time the whole case has went helicopter mode, the cpu has already dialed by. This is for air coolers of course, but just some decent silent fans or even cheap rgb fans kit that come with a remote to set static speed works best in my opinion.
I used these fans when I initially built my current PC. I upgraded to some Antec ARGB fans, but I'm old and remember when Antec cases were some of the best on the market.
Same man. I remember when Antec literally invented the bottom power supply location in a separate chamber. I remember when they were made of steel so thick you could stand on your pc case to change a light bulb. Those were the days.
I've run these fans in an antec p101 case (daily driver) for about 3 years now with no issues. I also run them in a rosewill 4u rack box (the one that preceeded the unit jay used for their nas). Those have been running for over a year, basically always on, also with no issue.
Love my antec case. Used to use an Antec Sonata quiet case, now have the DP502 FLUX. Lots of antec fans, lots of airflow... I've been satisfied for over a decade since my first Antec, never had a fan die yet (although, have swapped a few fans, as they stayed with the case each time)
My first case was from Antec in 1998. I might still have it if not for its front ports being USB 1.0 and if I had known what I was doing well enough to not have worn out the screw holes for its side panel. And I only recycled a fan from it last year because it was a slower speed rate fan than ones I have now. Antec makes quality products that can last for years.
-- They're still around. Thanks for the info. Not big into all sorts of LEDs on my case, but it does take 10, 120mm fans (not that I'm filling them all). Just needed three exhaust on the roof, one for another rig, and one backup. Perfect. Ordering them.
I bought this pack of fans about 3 years ago and I have had no problems whatsoever. I put them all in my case and always have more than enough airflow. My system never gets above 70 C. Can't beat the fans for the price.
Never thought I'd get to a day when hearing Antec and cheap being used at the same time. The 20 buck single color 80mm fans of the early 00's say hello.
I had some Cougar brand Hydro Dynamic Bearing fans in my last PC that ran for 5 years, no issue. They still work fine. Fluid bearings aren't bad. They just need to be quality made fans.
I've been using Nox Hummer H-fan ... fans for a few years now, they where 7€ a piece and they can be either with single color light or with PWM, but they all work mostly the same and are overall good in every aspect without being the best in any. Oh and they do NOT wobble, scratch or malfunction in any way as of today.
I bought a 5 pack of antec white RGB fans a while ago. I really like them. Quiet, they move a good amount of air, and didn't break the bank. Only problem I have is that I only have enough room for 4 fans in my case
Reminds me of guys with a successful car dyno and they go for just for a "leetle" more boost. My first time seeing a 12v fan go 15v. Very fun. For the price, I will pick up a pack of these to just have available. You can't have too many 120mm fans on hand!
I bought the p12 pwm model back at 2019 . They are pressure optimized which means better for water cool and higher CFM 56.3 rated with 200-1800 rpm. Also they are better quality and they are same price. I have 9 fans paid about 50 euros and they are better than most expensive fans
I remember reviewing a Rosewill RFX-80 fan, they were $4.99 and had dual ball bearings, I had some last over 10 years. They also had the RFX-120 which was $7.99 at the time. It seems they mostly stopped selling them, but I was one of the first to review them and only 10+years later did any of them fail, was a pretty good deal I think.
Sounds like if you're on a budget, you're a fan of these ones. Incidentally I just did a quick Amazon search for these. They're still $18.99 for a 5pk on the US site but $90 on the Canadian site (which is currently about 67 USD).
As of this moment Sunday 5-2 13.46 EST New York 18.46 GMT Londen the fans discussed by Jay. The 5 fan pack F12 120mm 3pin black frame white blades is actually $18,99 ($3,80 per fan). It's Antecs own store on Amazon. So they did not raise prices. They even toke it down a buck! Same 5 pack fans in black is still on $24,99. There where 4 left. Now its one pack left.
Been rockin' these for a couple years now, still super quiet and I live in a high dust environment(3 kids, 2 dogs and the odd cat that follows a dog through the dog door).
Still rocking an Antec 900 case with a 5600X & RX6700 XT build. That's literally a case purchased in 2007 and other than having to manage dust, I don't see myself buying a new case this decade either. Paired with a fan controller, this case does everything I need from an air cooled build. The 200mm fan on top is the original one, and has over 100K hours on it. I think one can safely say it has survived the test of time.
Away from the fan side of the video which is the main part, the Ad about the ifixit tool kit is actually legit and it’s really good. Bought one to build my PC and it had all the sizes and shapes I needed, one screw or Philips head driver won’t do the trick with some cases and motherboards and fans or any at all. Give it a go honestly it’s worth the money
I bought an Antec PSU recently. It's just rubber cables, 7 year warranty, nothing too fancy. But it's modular, silent, 80+ Gold. Seems like Antec is the kind of company that knows where they can cheapen the price without sacrificing functionality.
Keep this series going and build a complete new budget build! Cheap but good fans, cheap but good case, cheap but good motherboard, cheap but good power supply, cheap but good ram, cheap but good cpu cooling (not included), cheap but good keyboard/mouse, cheap but good monitor… cpu/graphics card…. And after the entire build, show people how to tweak the system
Good company. I had these fans on my old build. They still run great. Their customer service is great too. One time, I had an 80 plus bronze PSU from them that died within warranty and they replaced it with an 80 plus platinum lol
I have a bunch of Antec RGB fans in some of my cases. They are my go-to for people who need a more budget PC. They have 120 and 140mm fans that look the same too, which is rare to find now and days.
Having multple case fans spinning slowly does wonders to acoustics. I have a Corsair 4000D Airflow with 4 case fans, 3 of which are from a Cooler Master MB511 case. My fans move quite a bit of air but they're still silent (I set them to something like half speed). The two loudest things in my PC are the Dark Rock Pro 4 under full load and my two 3.5" drives seeking. After I removed the HDDs I now have the most quiet PC in my circle by far. One of my friends has a 5600x under his Cooler Master 240 AIO and he can do 5.95GHz at 40 degrees under a gaming load with the fans at half speed. The only reason his PC is louder than mine is because of GPU coil whine. Another one of my friends has a Corsair H150i Capellix and the pump noise in that thing is a doozy (it's almost as loud as my old HDDs under IO-heavy workloads).
I remember when I was a kid, I'd order yate loon fans for $3-5 a piece ($3 for black plastic, $5 for clear crystal plastic with single color LEDs). I must have gone through dozens of those fans since they died consistently within 2-5 years. It does not surprise me that Antec is carrying that flag now, but if you are looking for cheap 3 pin fans these days, you should definitely look at the price on yate loons as well. They had decent static pressure for the time as well so they made decent cheap radiator fans, my first watercooling kit from DangerDen came with yate loon fans preinstalled on the radiator lol. But yea, when I got started, either you were spendy and you bought Noctua fans, or maybe Scythe Gentle Typhoons (the original AX12-25 style fan, from Scythe/Nidec, jay has a video on these fans aready), with very few in between fans that were as popular, save for Antec's own PWM fans
I built a water loop 2-3 years ago with a Aquacomputer Airplex 1800 Evo cooler that has room for 15 120mm fans per side... Because Noctua fans are freaking expensive, I bought 3 packs of 5 of Arctic P12 coolers.. They are insanely cheap for 7$ and really, really good. There are reviews out there where they are just a bit less powerful than their noctua counterpart, the noctua nf-a12... That one costs almost 5 times as much with 32$ on amazon. Those 15 fans have had no issues at all. No bearing problems and I can tune them down all the way to around 175RPM. Best fan for the price EVER.
Fluid bearing for that price? Sounds like a good deal to me! I'm more focused on sound than anything so if they are quiet then it definitely sounds like a win.
I have some Rosewill white LED fans (7) in my case, they are fairly quiet and work well. Probably will upgrade to better fans soon, but these have been fine so far.
i just bought several of the older style LED rosewill fans for a couple of vintage case rebuilds, and they're excellent. lots of flow (only 80mm fans) and you can barely hear them over my noctua nfa12s at speed. and they look super 2005ish haha
I bought the 4-pin RGB variant 3 pack of the Antec F12 in june of 2021 for $24.99 and they're still quiet and still working without issue. I was originally just looking to replace one dead lian li fan and ended up installing all 3 - it's surprising how much of a difference even a couple budget fans will bring. Can attest they do look at little wobbly, but especially with the non-RGB ones, you're never gonna notice once it's in.
My exhaust fan in my case is an Antec it is 7 years old and still runs quietly and exactly as expected. It isn't the new hotness but it gets the job done.
I just bought a 5 pack of the antec rgb fusions for my new build last week paid about $60 for them & tbh they work great they are rated for 2000RPM & 57CFM & so far they work great they can be a little loud at max rpm but I put them on a solid curve to keep good air moving but also be more quieter I highly recommend these fans

IMO you can also just go with the 5 pack of Arctic P12’s for $35, and still have 4 pin PWM control, and they are also pretty quiet and perform well.
Edit: A ton of other comments already pointed this out too
I have been pleasantly surprised by these fans, they even match the noctua 6 year warranty.
That's the one I plan to get for my 3070 build, gonna get as many as the O11 Mini can handle and maybe 1 or 2 extra just in case.
I was gonna say the same thing.
Dammit, I came here and said the same thing without checking other comments first. XD
used arctic ARGB for my friends budget build 36$ 3 pack for now working fine and quiet
Arctic p12 5 pack are good too. Probably a lot better than these but they are a little more expensive. Especially great on radiators.
I have them in push pull on a 54mm thick radiator.
Available in a a lot of sizes (P8, P10, P12 and P14.
And also available in airflow optimized design, called F12 if I'm not mistaken.
p12s are a LOT better than these..antec storm are antecs version of the p12
Yeah, I seen those too and are much better. 56.3 CFM and max 1800 RPM and quiet too. And only $10 more.
Can vouch for the P12s. They’re incredible value.
Always worth considering.
antec at one point was the gold standard for power supplies.
@@JerziTBoss steer clear of the ball bearing co versions, those have loads of problems from the few users who bought the ball bearing models.
The white blades reflect what little light I do have going on in there, which I think looks pretty classy.
is this a dig at noctua lmao
@@Pub4si to be fair noctua colours are unconventional for modern pc components
you know you can get black noctua fans right?
@@Galgamoth they're very expensive. also the original comment does not mention noctua directly, just the colour scheme
Never a bad idea to have 1 fan in reserve.
Hes done thay
I tried Arctic and couldn't be happier, all their fans are daisychainable and affordable. They are also pretty quiet even with higher rpm's
As a side note, after such an agreeable experience with these fans, I've considered the Antec name in other products.
your ifixit ads may be the only sponsor segments from any youtuber that i actually want to watch
I actually love white blade fans. I specifically prefer black frame and white blade, the look of it while spinning somehow looks great in my black case.
This brings me back.
I used to love Antec. My early builds where full of Antec fans.
I also like arctic's basic fans too price wise
Silent, good quality and reliable but still cheap. I like them also :)
From the same guy that I saw saying many times that the fans that come with some cases were "garbage". Garbage or not, I'm glad that you are trying to see it from a different perspective.
I mean.. one side HAS to suck 😅
I’m sorry I had to do it 😖
Not only are those fans still available but they also are in black now.
Even Jay admits He gets bored
Direct buy from Arctic, get 5pk 3pin P12s for $24
@Ugga Bugga Love how you spam this same stupid noctua fanboy reply on a ton of comments here. really helps to take what you say seriously... NOT
I have 5 Antec fans that I installed on the original Antec 300 13 years ago and they all still work! Two of them in the front have blue leds and still light up!
Ok but what if I want my $4 fans to suck?
Like how else am I supposed to get cool air into my system if the fans don’t suck it in.
Thanks for the tip :)
1:50 In the spotlight. Popular. On the public stage. Recognized brands. Industry leader. Frontrunners. Newsworthy...
Arctic p12 pst or non pst are also a great budget fan. I've used them lots and they do a great job without breaking the bank.
I have a system running Antec fans similar to these with the same bearing type. It runs 24/7.
The fans were installed in 2013 and still working fine.
I've been wanting some reviews on Antec fans. I picked up some Antec Storm PWM fans that looked really good, haven't put them in yet. Also a good value depending on the price you snag them at. I think I paid $35 for 5. Great work on getting some content out for the budget conscious PC people! ^_^
storm is antecs version of arctic p12
I went with 3-pack Lian Li ST120's for 25 bucks each, huge deal and theyre great for both static and airflow
The RGB versions are decently priced too. Comes out to $8/fan for 5 pack
Plus, the low cost let me get a couple other peripherals my budget originally didn't have room for.
they have the rgb ones for @ $8 a piece.
I like to think my case looks like a concert. But you don’t need rgb.
I was about to smack lian li fans worth 400+ bucks in my PC. Decided to go no RGB and bought some artic fans. Best decision ever.
Been using Arctic p12 and p14 fans for years, they are 4 pin and also daisy chain and don't use molex.
they are slightly more expensive but not by much and these are an acceptable option if you can't put more towards your fan budget.
Also they are very good. I have 3x120 on front and 140 on back and top in my NZXT Noctis 450. There is nothing to beat them in that price point.
How long before they sell out immediately because of this video!? 😂 Great content! Love the channel 😁
I'll give it 20 minutes
1 left in stock lol
A year later and the link in the description brings me to a 5 Pack of fans for $20, so (unless they did raise it at some point) it's still $4 each now
UpHere has a 3 pack of 120mm that run $10-$13 on Amazon and come in white or black that work well and are even cheaper. The real added advantage is that they come in white. I used them recently when I rebuilt my tower in a new NZXT case with a white theme.
+1 on these!
I have Prism X's I considered the corsiars, but they are a complete rip-off! All controlled by the modo, they are quiet and look great.
I did a build for a friend a few weeks back and I had him buy a 5 pack of all black antec fans that were pwm and daisy chainable for $35. They worked flawlessly would 100% use them in my own system.
I have been using these cans for YEARS!!! Love them! They come in pwm also! Every pc in my house has the F12s baby! Nice and quick too
Don’t makers of fans actually make one of the blades a little bit off to create a disturbance in the air flow?
It may actually be a feature.
If you didn’t come from tiktok raise your hand 🤚🏽
I've never used that dumpster app. Commie crap lol
@@dublkrossr2059 good.
Nope! Will not use that Spyware.
Stfu you're not gonna tell me what to do
And
My custom watercooling PC is equiped with 10 Arctic P12 and for 25€ a pack of 5, it's a steal. Yes it's not as silent or efficient with radiators compared to a Noctua, but it gets the job done perfectly
They don’t suck, they blow!
Oh yeah! I've purchased these for a friend's build. They're great budget fans if you need any airflow at all. They're great.
I’m grateful Jay finally decided to make a fan appreciation video
I've had these in my new[ish] build for a few months now. No complaints, and they seem to move enough air to keep it cool.
Ifixit AD is literally the only AD i meet with which i dont skip because its funny and it has character! great vids guys, love em! :)
This is why I love J2C, I thought while watching the video, what if I pass more voltage into the fans, and boom, Jays does it.
Looks like for a budget build they would be FANtastic!
Having a spare fan is never a problem. 😁
Bought these during the pandemic, when I built my first ever PC. They are still going strong, excellent value !
This iFixit ad doesn't get old, I'm never tired of watching it!
Sounds like if you're on a budget, you're a
fan of these ones.
Antec used to be the goat. First pc build in 2007 was all antec stuff. Build is in my garage but still works to this day.
I did a budget build using these. Still work like a charm.
I have been using Arctic F12 and P12 type fans for similar reasons. I can get a 5 pack on amazon just under $30, and they work well.
I love my Arctic fans too
I've been using Antec products my entire computer life, starting out with the Chassis, PWS, and now fans. Great company, just like Seasonic (PWS)
I got a 5 pack of these for $24 on Amazon with free shipping over a year ago. They rock. Lots of flow, quiet and the price was right
I built a water loop 2-3 years ago with a Aquacomputer Airplex 1800 Evo cooler that has room for 15 120mm fans per side...
I bought 2 Antec PMW 5 packs. 1 pack Non RGB $23. The RGB pack was $53 with a controller. Love them ALL!
I have a 1200watt Antec PSU that's been absolutely solid and dependable. Antec is a good brand.
Antec fans are what I got for my parent's computer years ago (probably 5 yrs?) when their fans locked up... they're still holding up to this day!
My exhaust fan in my case is an Antec it is 7 years old and still runs quietly and exactly as expected. It isn't the new hotness but it gets the job done.
These videos are actually really helpful. Most people won't pay the 20+ usd per fan. Great for upgrading my father's pc.
