as a reminder for resin printers - the math is 1.1kg of AC per month of exposure to 10umol/TVOC (where most cheap air quality meters max out, and what they'll read in a closed room with a resin printer running). So, if the Bento holds an entire 50g bag of AC, you'll need to swap the carbon every / every other day of printing...
This is great information to have. I suspect this would be good advice for power users. I'm not exactly in on the science behind the purification, so this is good to hear. With so many refills required for some people, it's good to note that refilling the AC and hepa filter are both VERY easy.
Don’t sweat you comment section that video was helpful! I ordered and I think I’ll add a coway purifier nearby and print a container for carbon pellets for the x1’s exhaust fan to add even more layers of safety as I want to get into asa pretty soon.
Haha thank you so much man!!! Being on the internet is always difficult. People are crazy, honestly. You gotta have thick skin to post online 😂
omg the amount of pcb way ads on youtube is driving me nuts.
Good point in supporting the creator and simplifying my own work/time.
Thank you!! I think a lot of people find it crazy to buy a 3d printed object they can print for free, but also so many people can't finish projects themselves, so it's great that people like this guy offers the service :)
Hey everyone, would this be necessary for printing pla on the P1S. My machine isn’t fully enclosed for printing pla. I have a top lid riser btw. So maybe I would benefit more from a air purifier in the printer room instead. Thanks
Apparently this guy also doesn't know it's the 21st Century.
Editor oversight when I reviewed the video
@@ThePrintHouse minor details that didn't matter. Good video
@@ShyneflowLC I appreciate it!! We always strive to perfect everything, but they are MANY HOURS that go into every video, so I appreciate the understanding!! :)
@@ThePrintHouse of course! Appreciate the content
"AND IT'S 20TH CENTURY"
I forgot to mention this video was filmed in 1923
Maybe instead of repeating yourself 5 times show how to install it and run the cables in a x1c without drilling holes. Just an idea.
Great idea :)
You should consult a chemist about how to eliminate VOCs, with that amount of activated carbon you are only deodorizing, you are not eliminating toxic volatile compounds. If you had a digital meter you would see it perfectly. In short, you don't smell it, but it still intoxicates you.
This device would likely be great for a polymer that emits low VOCs or as an "extra" purifier, so to speak. I definitely dont think this device will save you from printer resin for 12 hours straight. I think it is added protection in conjunction with other measure already in place.
One day I hope to expand what I print, so I was wondering how do you know if it is working? Is there reasonable air quailty meter or something similar that will test the quality of air?
Can you get to the point already?
The background music is annoying and unnecessary.
Absolutely!
Looky whooo
Agree, better without background music.
I am constantly having audio balancing issues. I have beeb trying to air on the side of caution and keep the volume very low. I like the added depth with something else playing in the background but I need to also keep it where viewers don't hate it. Thank you for commenting to let me know. It seems like a lot of people agree.
@@ThePrintHouse Yeah, get rid of the background music
too much cat in this video.
