I want to read one book a month this year so this was definitely inspiring! Also wanted to say thank you for using my song "again" in the video! It means the world to me!
Oh my God! The intro was super amazing and I loved the fact that you were talking while playing the bgmusic😭🤌🏻 I mean, you spoke like you were just chatting with your bff which seemed soo nice. I really enjoyed it as much as I do everytime and I would really like to see that vlog you're talking about🥲💕🫂btw your voice is soo sweet omggg
Where is this sacred haven, I spent Rs.2000 and got just 6 books! Lord why did I have to love something so expensive, ever since I started reading I feel utterly poor!!!! Where in the world can I get books this cheap?
@@aamnaishrat3413 Rather buying from big Bookstores buy from book market some will be pirated be careful of that but most will be secondhand and new their prices are responsible. If you are fine with secondhand you will find cheap and good condition book like i do. I live in Mumbai they have book market in churchgate and i know delhi has too i don't know about other cities
Hi when you show your haul next time please can you talk about book a bit. I mean like what is the book about n all so just wr might know what the book has and your opinion on book. Please
I don’t know why but I’ve always think people might not like me rambling so much about books😭 That’s why I hold back my thoughts so many times! But I’ll give it a try for sure next time
It was amazing book fair and it was really very nice meeting you Smriti ☺. I also bought rosie project or maybe someday ✨. Tbh i didn't read any book have u read any of them ?
Hey! So.. concerning ~ " I’d never giveaway a book gifted to me “ .. basically a lot of times , those people are deceased and their loved ones just give them to thrift stores while cleaning up their residence. And they end up in book fairs like these. And gurlll .. how old are you anyway "people these days "😂😂😂 Anyways another reason they might giveaway gifted books is that they like books and the stories but not the physicality of the books .. or they didn’t like the story.. I’ve been gifted books but I don’t have any with notes on them, so idk how I’ll get rid of a book with notes in them. I probably won’t. But I’ve gotten rid of books I was gifted because I hated the story.. I did ask them if it’s ok if I did , and they were ok with it .. i own very few books.. so owning something I hate is a turn off . ( I did exchange it for a book I love in similar book fair btw ❤) And before anyone comes at me .. I read average 200 books a year .. so it’s not like I hate books.. I just don’t like owning them.. my mom was against buying books as a kid because it might be a distraction for studying..so I sneaked in library books.. all this is to say .. I grew up with not having to own books to be a reader 😅 Readers are all different and thinking every reader likes collecting books equally is quite a misunderstanding. I do think I’m in minority tho as most Indian households hoard a lot, especially books.. even my non-reader friends have more books than me 😂😂
It amuses me when a bibliophile explicitly uses words like “hate non-fiction.” Similar to fiction, non-fiction constitutes a vast ocean. Disliking an entire genre is likely because you haven’t yet come across one that aligns with your taste. It’s unclear what the term “non-fiction” specifically refers to. If you’re thinking of non-fiction like school or college books, that’s a misconception. Perhaps science, history, or philosophy-subjects that are often presented in a non-academic manner-could be more to your liking. Choose a field you genuinely love to explore. Just as you may have started disliking classic novels, who knows, someday you might grow tired of romantic novels, as I did when I turned 30.
I love living in village but the privilege of going to a book fair is something that I miss so much🥲

@Smriti Nautiyal .. How do you select a book?
Last year, i went to Lucknow and got myself 15 books in 2200 😍
If this is your favourite book fair then you have to visit Kolkata Book fair to feel the madness 😊
Shit! If I was there definitely I would pick that Shakespeare's. It is yummm!
