I found your channel about a year ago. Enjoyed your series on the mini camper build and the videos of it in use. I think you should name your canoe Pond Hopper as you use to hop from pond to pond. Enjoy your time outdoors and have fun doing it.

Nice trip but the fishing was tough at first. I've fished a lot in Central NFLD over the years and find flies or a more rounded spinner not the small silver ones, although they work fairly well, tipped with a worm and you can limit out. Go in behind Bishop's Falls for a good trip. I did that in my younger days. more road access now though. Although I've got some pretty decent catches in some little pond right by the road.

I didn't realize it had taken me so long to get around to watching this one. Yes, the flies have been bad this year, but you made it through without a bug jacket. I'm suggesting "Monty" as a canoe name. A fan of ST:TOS may figure out how I came up with it.

I'm like an animal magnet ! I always have bears and coyotes at my camp site ! I have to stop bringing good smelling food ! Oh yes of course a magnet for black flies and mosquitoes too 😂

I used jb weld on my rivets and worse. Works wonders on loose rivets.
I just got a 17 ft aluminum been out now 7 or 8 times . Have a 3.3 Johnson . Bit of paddling , and motor enjoying canoe

Those flies are brutal. I was out a few weeks ago in Nova Scotia and they almost drove me nuts. I know it’s not a train but maybe “ The Goose Caboose”

Great suggestions for the canoe name, Dave! As for the drone, mine is the DJI Mavic Mini and I would definitely recommend it! It's very compact for carrying in the woods and it takes great quality footage!

Right away I noticed a conspicuous lack of black flies. Not far south of Newfoundland in Maine we are swarmed in the spring.
Still enjoying the videos alot. Hoping to get out myself soon. Do some salmon fishing. Maybe "THE WATER DEMON" would be a cool name for her.

Hey, thanks for the giveaway opportunity on the knife and surprise I moved home to NL last summer and I'm really missing the ON backcountry parks. I really miss my canoes more.. they didn't make the trip. I stumbled upon your videos in the past couple of weeks out of backcountry longing, and to gage the NL backcountry canoe culture.. seems it's alive and well. Thanks for the inspiration to hunt for a boat to get me back on the water.
If I were gonna name that new to you ship of yours in the condition it's in... "Hot Mess" 15 foot boats make for great solo paddling, the 10lb weight savings isn't a bad uptick either. Ha!

I love ya and I stand with ya 100 percent. BUT there not enough money on the planet to make me eat one of those dehydrated meals in a bag. There gross. My friend has his own dehydrator and the food is pretty food from that thing. The scenery in this video is awesome bud u are most definitely a good photographer. Bring a bottle of moose next time lol for back-up
