Hi Al, great to see you back on your perch mate and doing what you do best, some great Qso's from Drew and the others. from 26CT4676 Paul from Exhall (local), take care mate 73's.
Too cold up here and the car I have does not have an AUX, so power goes off in 30 seconds! I need a big battery to charge! Good to see your back is getting better. 😃
😶🌫Drew sounds a bit like a duck, he must have just come in from the barn! beat him down, . Nice to hear/see your end of it Al. I like the way you edited the video with the map and scale 🗺!
Hi Allen, Good to hear that your back is improving. The same on this side and I tell you that is quite an impact. Those were nice distances you made. I still find it impressive. Look forward to your next video, John.
Cheers John hoping to be getting out more and looking at maybe a diesel heater for the old Van. Lots better, but a few other problems which I think now was caused by the tablets. All the best 👍
Well enjoyed that Al , and going by your face you really did also , and the emotion in your face really showed the love for the radio hobby , good to see you out in the mobile again , have a great weekend
Cheers bud , i ceartainly didnt care about the weather or how damp and wet it was and really enjoyed it , certainly will be out as much as I can in the coming year. Hope to catch you soon.
Nice to see your back out doing radio adventures out and about Al. Good idea to stretch your legs. Car seats aren't built for people to sit in for long.
Cheers bud and my car seat isnt the most comfortable in the world and I think was the final nail for my back to go when I was out for the 41 years of radio for a few hours, but onward and upward and all the best bud 🙂
Glad to see you back on your perch. Some nice contacts. I'm close to getting a Hawkins 12+ sorted. When I do I hope to catch you on the air sometime. Best wishes Al
Great to see you back Al maybe in summer we need all meet up on one of them hills for a DX and a chat would be good , look after yourself catch you soon 👍
Cheers buddy , there might be a TC meet up in the summer, but I'm not sure when that will be happening. Ill keep you posted all the best and catch you soon 🙂
New year new beginnings happy new year Al and all your other followers. Yet again great contacts. I did make a vertical up but the storms killed it after a couple of days so hopefully homebrew second addition coming soon. Keep streaming son
Cheers buddy , good luck with the next home brew and hope it works for you, yeah damn weather can be a pain as I found out last year 😞 I will keep going at it though.
Hi there Al, nice to see you with all that energy seemingly all is well. I really don't have a group in the freeband so as Max of Max Mountain as in Mad Max, to make my own callsign. So my callsign is 79AC35. I've already made 2 contacts, one is from Poland, I can't remember his call and the other one is 1AT027. I'm just using a President HR2510 throwing only 20 watts and a dipole. I hope I can catch you one day. 73s.
Oh wow Al you got me good on the perch.. I can remember this day the radio was absolutely wild it's a wonder any of us could make a contact with so many stations on the air.. really good to see you get Drew over the pond as well as on the megawatt amazing contacts you got with him and a great day out for you. Awesome day out and a great video excellent viewing.. Hope you are feeling better health-wise and getting back to your best.. all the best for 2023, give Henry a hug and a pat on the head from us all, great radio days long may it continue with this cycle.
Thanks Glenn, yep no problem hearing you and great to get Drew on the mobile antenna, really enjoyed getting out. Think Drews radio needed to warm up a bit. Cant bit that perch for contacts. Look forward to getting out more if health conditions allow.
