Man I love this post. Finally a trailer tire review that is unbiased and isn’t a goodyear endorsement. You hit all the key points load range speed air pressure balancing anything and everything a person would do if they’re maintaining their tires properly as well as doing their homework. There are a lot of tires out there that are available that are just as good as Goodyear without having to spend the money just as you pointed out. And for those of you that are wondering Carlisle is based in Tennessee I know they have made in China written on the tires but these are made by a company made right here in the good all USA. Another good point you bring out is a lot of the manufactures try to get you out on the cheapest kind of tire possible that includes all of the RV industry they usually put one load range below what is really needed to handle the weight of any camping trailer. Sure it’ll be fine if you take it out empty once you start loading water gear and everything else you’ve already exceeded the limits of the tire go over 65 miles an hour and you’re definitely asking for trouble. Thank you again for such a great review

Just bought those can't wait to set them up on my fiver . The junk tow king load d tire was weak . Now I can run 81mph and have a better setup with the radial which was a thicker carcus which is better to prevent sidewall bruising.

Are these better than the Sailun ST235/80R16G/14PR trailer tires. Need to know before I buy.

I think one of the best it the goodyear endurance. It is speed rated at 85 mph. It also is 80 psi at max load. I have been running for 2 years with no problem. I travel at the speed limit on the inter states.

You do realize that ALL ST type tires use the same Load Formula which is based on 65 mph operating speed. The Speed Symbol you are talking about is a 30 min test specifically for Passenger type tires. Speed Symbol was added to import tires in 2017 to avoid Import Tariff that was applied to tires without a Speed Symbol. Can you point to a change in construction that was made to somehow allow these tires to overnight be capable of +20 mph operation?

Wrong. Can you point to one that doesnt. . . ST is simply standard trailer. Has nothing to do with Speed Rating.
