Wow, generous dimensions for these two big boys! And with these dimensions they wear pretty well also on your wrist. It's very interesting how a huge watch sometimes wears pretty well.
I have a question. I have a BN2024 and the battery sign always stays at the lower end. I charge it in Sunshine for the day, it raises to the the top but then after 4-6 hours it comes back to the lower point. What could be the reason of this and what are the possible solutions. Thanks in advance for the help.
I think the capacitor/battery is weak and it doesnt hold the charge anymore. When is at the top, fully charged, watch should work minimum 6 months in darkness, no sun. Its just my ideea. Check the problem also with a watchmaker.
To keep battery alive you should always leave it on a day light next to window. They are also charged from normal light bulbs or any other light source. If many times kept in darkness for a long time this will kill capacitor inside. Mine Promaster after 5 years still runs great and I use it as daily. Only time when it is in the dark is during Winter time when i have Winter jacket or outfit that covers watch for couple of hours.
This is why I end up with Sail Hawk. Good blend of 200m water resistance with better world clock functions. Do not trust, though, my water resistance as much as those watches.😅
The classic futuristic steampunk (?!!) craziness of Citizen, for fanboys only... Love to hate this brand! Hate to love too! PS Waiting for a model that will make coffee too, someday it'll be done by them... (luckily they don't know Arab/ turkish coffee!) Eco drive of course
These are both beautiful dive watches from Citizen. I love how Citizen designers are breaking barriers unlike more bland brands like Seiko or Orient.

It's actually not that huge. It measures 47 mm with all the crowns and is less than 50 mm on the height.
@@rickardw3280 Not that huge? That dimensions are massive😅
As noted by Jody at Just One More Watch, the key to wearability is the lug to lug dimension. He quotes it at 50.5mm.
i much admire the styling of citizen's big beastly watches
sure they're huge but still somehow... elegant? idk

Damn.... those are some monster watches.
I think the old is gold 😄
I prefer wear wall clock 80mm diameter
It will be a similar experience 😂
Why not 1000 mm, you can put it behind your back and become the true ninja turtle
🤣🤣🤣
I had both but sold the BN2024-05E. It was much heavier and looked much larger. It just wasn't for me.

Wow looks huge compare to my baby tuna. But nice.....
A bit massive yeah 😬
I had a tuna....I think it is too small for men.

Only the movement of this watch is made in Japan and the rest are made in China
Oh well maybe that’s why they are actually affordable 😉
To Citizen’s specs & with Citizen’s level of QA.
Which one in the video is made in Japan?
The BN2024 he shows is made in Japan. The BJ2169 only features a Japanese-made movement.

Yeah 😂 They're definitely targeting a very specific group of people with these models.
BJ2169-08E or BN2024-05E????? help me
I can't 😅. Just go for the one that looks cooler to you.
Lots of colour options as well.
I’d throw my money down on the 2024, but that’s just me. What did you get in the end?
