In today's Video we take a look at the Tata Power Charging Station here in Hyderabad, A complete Demo of how this system works and how you can charge your EV Easily. We are driving the MG ZS EV Car and when it was low on battery, we found the TataPower Charging Station in multiple locations but this specific one is close to Tata Chroma Store in Attapur, Hyderabad where we tried out the service. In this video we show you the charges Tata charged us, invoice, costs, charging speed, how we fixed the charging issue that we faced during the charge on this trip.

Ofcourse it needs much refinement for now but I think Tata has the infrastructure to make the charging points widespread in the country.

Yes this is for those who plan to buy a EV in the coming future.
In 100 rs you get 40% charging 😍 cheaper than diesel Ig...
100 rs = 5 kwh. As per video. (20 rupees per unit)
MG battery capacity = 45 kwh = 45x20 = 900 Rs for full charge (300+ kms)
If you charge at home. just 8 Rs per unit.
full charge = 45 x 8 = 360 Rs for full charge (300+kms)
Only charge outside house in case of emergency and if travelling between cities. Otherwise always charge at home and save money.

@@19atharvindi9 We should charge it over night. Then time doesn't matter. It takes 2 hours to charge phone and we don't mind charging phone for 2 hours right? Because obviously we will charge it only when at home. And as technology improves, there will be fast chargers (just like for phones) which can charge 400-500kms in 15-20 minutes.
@@sudheerk9347 charging our phones doesnt take 2 hours, it takes 30-45 minutes. and we rarely charge it at once, always plug it in for 5-10 minutes when we have time. this is how ev's will funcition in the future, we charge it for the 30-45 minutes whenever we stop. these big capacity heavy batteries are just a stopgap till we get decent charging infrastructure everywhere.

Otherwise for normal people it is one charge for couple of days, for people driving 150-200 kms, it one charge per night.

hi bro, you did a great job but I could like to give a small tip so that you can help more in finding and the errors so the thing is you need to show which is reset button is so that people can press that reset button. you need to put an arrow mark in the video so that it will be a perfect indication mark. I know it's silly but small things make a lot of differences. thank you for helping others good job.

@@EVradar Sir,As an R&D EVSE engineer, our company "Exicom power solutions " is only supplying these chargers to TATA POWER....just wanted to tell you that "Red button" is not reset button....it's "Emergency power off(EPO)" button...if in case something unusual or fire breaks out.... to stop the charging session.

For your info, that "Red" colored button isn't "RESET" button, actually it is "Emergency button" which is to be pressed in case of emergency only. Please don't do that....!

Important Note : Never charge your vehicle above 90% if you want your batteries to peform well over long time.
Same way do not let your batteries to go down below 15%.
Otherwise complete discharge and complete charge will reduce battery capacity over the time. You will end up getting much less mileage after one year.
This rule is applicable across all EV brands.

Kindly do not go by what they say and sit inside use ac bla bla at least until the tech becomes actually stable
Thats wrong, you theroy is correct but all these device are smart enough and the 100% and 0 is not actually the correct. It actually never discharge completely even at 0% and never charge fully in 100%. So do worry and use it, the device will take care of the battery.
I think keep sharing your experience.... As EV is very new concept and people are afraid of buying it due to charging station issue
It is not reset button it is a emergency stop to disable charger in case of fire flooding etc

Evs give avg of 1 rupee per km. They are also cheap to service as it has no ICE engine. There was a nexon ev owner who told his first three services were free. Forth service was mere 800rs. Still evs are in India lack infrastructure. Evs are best second vehicle currently.

Battery always charges through DC. DC charging is faster because it doesn't has to go through an inverter. In AC chargin the current goes through inverter, converts in to DC & then it charges the battery in which the limitation of inverter matters, hence there is no AC fast charging.

Hey.. now you have new brand joulepoint for your charging needs in Hyderabad. We have 10-11Dc fast charging stations installed in Hyderabad which is ccs2 port which can be used for any brand car.
