Can’t even express my delight and surprise when I heard this. Full of playful sounds that move into restfull meditation then in other pieces full of mysterious voices evoking something forgotten.
Good find! Looking into acquiring the CD release as well in the near future. This is a shining gem to have in any collection or personal library of music.
Yesterday I was at a concert with this program, it's an amazing experience! Listening to live music in the building of the Small Guild in the Old Town of Riga is divine! Thanks a lot to Eric for his faetastic performance of the music of the Middle Ages.
@@tonyprost5575 its so challenging, did you learn sections of songs and learn the more complex variations as you got better? I'm a beginner recorder player and most of the songs seem rather challenging, at least in part, to play at tempo.
Hi there, here is a link to the digital booklet. On page 64 you can see all the types of recorders that have been used in this album: www.brilliantclassics.com/media/492361/93391-Van-Eyck-Der-Fluyten-Lusthof-Booklet-English-Download.pdf
Loathing the recorder as I do, listening to this for three and a half hours would be similar to looking at an oil painting of Jeremy Corbyn in the nude. Utterly disturbing.

@@BrilliantClassics Thank you very much for the link! This is fascinating to read while I listen to this gorgeous recorder music.

I think you should add some keywords in the title. This video is very hard to find.
Who else thought Van Eyck would be Theremin player Carolina Eyck? 🙂

Djokovic = tennis player
Bosgraaf = recorder player

Nossa! Surpreendente como alguém pode não gostar. Eu amei!
@@nilcecamargo4645 Oh não ! Eu quis dizer que gosto muito. "ziek" é coloquialismo para "bom"
