I understand exactly what it means when the help doesn't show up. Back when I was farming, I used to line up 2-3 extra people when we were going to prime tobacco because you always had at least 1 or 2 that wouldn't show up. Those onions look fantastic and the plastic lifter should work great.
About 8 yrs. ago we had some super big Egg plants and since then just your norm. I think everything just must have been right for there growth. The fields look great.

Wow...those are huge eggplants. I was looking for eggplants for 3 weeks no one in my area had any. Finally found some and made a large pot of eggplant, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, garlic, capers and pepper flakes. Yummy.

I believe the nuclear power plant in the background has finally seeped Radiation to your eggplants. Have you ever seen Episode of Gilligan’s Island, where Gilligan caught the box of radiation seeds? I believe that’s what happened to you. Lol 😂
Just put the deformed looking one in a half prices basket you could even just make a discount basket with all different vegetable's and even fruits that you want to get rid of that someone could use that is willing to buy the deformed looking stuff cause i promise you put a bundle of all the different disformed vegetable's in a basket im going to snatch that up in a heart beat if its half priced i would be the one that would grab even discounted basket you had if i had enough money!
if all powerful benevolent god is the true creator of every thing not the satans ruling you human slaves then why would god want & need to create system of life where intact things crumble into pieces by default but crumbled pieces never become intact by default ?

Love your eggplant comparison!! OMG, all those rocks!!! Can't imagine trying to grow onions or potatoes in that!!! I am amazed at what you get though!! You need a Broad Fork to pull onions, works for garlic too! They come at different sizes, 3-4' wide, maybe wider!
They are big because of the early hot weather. No veggie loves hot weather like eggplant. Big does not necessarily mean full of seeds and bitterness. That’s picking them old.
Congratulations to your huge harvest! I always admire your cantaloupes and watermelons. It seems you can grow them so effortlessly in your area. I also sell eggplants (3 varieties) but people in my area wouldn't buy then that big. They usually prefer smaller ones and say it's softer and seeds are barely visible. Sometimes I miss a few here and there, they get too big and then I usually give them to someone for free or leave it on the ground. Just an observation. Keep your great work!

Never tried Eggplant 🍆 but these look Great.
I recommend them with olive oil and garlic. Gently fried or baked. Delicious.
