    All such interviews as this of Professor Chomsky are historical records. He has been a juggernaut of intellect for most Americans' entire lives. He is vastly underappreciated by the majority of Americans, and too many are ignorant of him. Hopefully, American education will experience a renaissance before this century is over.

    I remember seeing a documentary about an American Agribusiness company moving in to Haiti to “assist” the local dairy milk production which was simply local farmers with a couple of cows supplying the needs of the people. The US imported milk into Haiti at such a low price that local farmers ended up pouring their milk on the ground and getting rid of their cattle because they could not compete . Eventually , all native milk production ceased completely and the market became totally controlled by big US producers. This kind of economic disruption tactic has been used all over the world .

    • @jumastewart830
      @jumastewart830 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This happened in Jamaica as well because of IMF terms I believe. Local milk producers had to literally open the tanks and release the milk to dispose of it.

    I have always had the greatest respect for one of the most respected linguistics & scholars of our time... Noam Chomsky intellectual capacity to diagnose societal ills through language is nothing short of remarkable... brutally honest in his summation leaves whoever seriously opens their minds to this intellectual feast... can not reduce this skill set by claiming through their whims & passions that he (Chomsky) is misinformed...no matter what side of the issues you fall on... Noam Chomsky intellect draws you deeper into the analysis to find greater strength & meaning to these societal ills that plagues generations of brain washing... 🧠 MAY ALMIGHTY GOD continues to illuminate this Scholars path
