Obviously the low mileage on your Crosstrek is a big value add. Average BlackBook wholesale is approximately $8900.00 while clean wholesale is $10050.00. Expect a dealer to retail the car for somewhere between $13600.00 to $14500.00. Had you considered retailing the Crosstrek and pick up some of that profit. You have three advantages in retailing the car. First you know the car. Second I'm certain your state has a much lower sales tax rate for private owner to private owner sales. Third you're not charging the new buyer a horrendous dealer doc fee. Edit: Oh I saw the body damage on the Subie. That definitely will affect your trade-in value as will any other things the Subie may need in terms of reconditioning. Expect a dealer to hit you closer to Black Book rough wholesale of around $7400.00 or less. Edit 2. Wow you did great with Carvana! $11900 is average retail and they still have to spend $$ for reconditioning. No way you could go wrong!

Thanks for watching! Yes, we are super happy with the Carvana deal. We looked on their site and it appears similar year, color, milage cars are priced around 17-18,000. Private sale is kind of a hassle especially if buyer doesn't have cash.

Good to know! Not the crosstrek, we still have ours. The teen is driving it now. It could be time to replace the 6yr old M3 for us. Do you know if transferring all free options are available or just FSD?

Thanks for watching! Yes, so glad to finally get rid of the Crosstrek. Couldn't stand the exhaust smell when it was running in the driveway. I still love my 6yo Model 3 so hanging on to it for a while longer. Free FSD transfer if you take delivery by Sept 30. I asked about transfer of my lifetime premium connectivity and they said it wasn't an option right now.
