Bhai Indian Navy kabtak ski jump use karti rahegi hamare aircraft carriers mai? because ski jump ki vajah se combat aircraft apna full load lekar launch hi nahi ho sakta unlike catapult system ke.
@Akshit Yadav matlab kuch bhi india already asked for electromagnetic catapult system from usa for its ins vishal but Mr Bipin Rawat wants navy to have more submarines so ins vishal got scrapped.

There are many advantages in India developing indigenous fighter aircrafts for both airforce and navy. Firstly the global tender system and resultant corrupt practices in procurement of aircrafts will reduce and secondly aircraft downtime for maintenance and procurement of spares will be lesser. Competence of designers and fabricators will be high. Initially costs will be higher but over time they will be less.
India should purchase the largest class of aircraft carriers from USA immediately on government to government contract basis. We have one from Russia...and another will be built by us. So, we will then have 4 aircraft carriers in next 2 years. We should look to have a fleet of 8 aircraft carriers to take care of potential threats from our Eastern and Western neighbors...as well as take control of Indian Ocean region.
