I prefer an in the wall aquarium. It is so relaxing to look at and the aquarium itself doesn't distract from the reef when in the wall. By your aquariums are BEAUTIFUL.👍

We're building a house right now and are planning to integrate a reef tank (320cmx100cmx80cm) into my hobby room. It will be party visible from the living room as we will cut two windows into the wall. No steel beams necessary this way and hopefully it will be somewhere near as impressive as this aquarium. Hi, ich bin am überlegen mein Lichtsetup umzurüsten. Über meinem 300l Becken (120cm•50cm•50cm) hängen 2 Ai hydra 32hd. Jedoch brauch ich etwas mehr Leistung. Noch eine hydra kommt nicht in Frage, da ich die zwei schon zu laut finde. Nun zu meiner Frage. Was würden sie mir empfehlen, ich will entweder auf ecotechs umsteigen oder eine t5/led hybridlampe dazubauen. Würde mich sehr auf einen Ratschlag freuen. Ein Wünderschönes Becken. Ich habe mein Becken mit 13 Jahren letze Weinachten gestartet und es läuft soweit alles super.

Hi, das platzieren funktioniert relativ gut :) aber bei einer Tiefe von 80 cm muss man schon lange Arme machen und mit Leiter arbeiten 😅 die Scheiben Reinigung ist total easy mit dem flipper.

Ich habe eine tragende Wand 40cm, gleich über 6 Meter aufgebrochen. Zwei Stahlträger drüber…..fertig😂😂. Mein Becken soll aber tiefer als 40cm werden. Kann man das links/rechts überstehen lassen?? Ich wäre allerdings schon froh, wenn ich ohne größere Kämpfe 2Meter bei meiner Frau durchgesetzt bekomme. Jeder cm mehr zählt 👍. 2022 bin ich soweit. Gruß, Carsten VP
honestly, what hardware makes difference? I have 2 radions G5 XR30 Pro over 150cm lps/sps, 4 ati sow8 each 8000l/h, tunze silence 5000l/h, my nitrats are 5, and phosphor gets to 0.08 only when I dose polypbooster but next day it is again 0.02, ca is 460-480, KH today was 11, magnesium is ok. the only things I could concern are location of the frags in my tank and Chinese skimmer bubble magus a8, but that bitch beats the all the shit (naturally) out of water, I get stinky tea out of skimmer every day. I am not sure that if I install nyos quantum 220, I get acroporas that big in 6 monthes from regular commercial frag. But even more. Is it possible to get that growth under absolute perfect conditions just within 6 months from a guy, who took over a hobby from his friend, what means despite all the money no experience, dinos and so on...or he just bought those corals already that big?
That reef looks great. The minimalist white look of the room makes the reef colours pop. Great aquarium.

This didn’t work out so well for me the tank creates a lot of condensation and the sheet rock sucked it up like a sponge and rotted be carefull
