My name suggestion for such a beautifully landscaped tank is: The Savannah, or Aqua Savannah. Inspired by the Rhino stone, and where Rhinoceros traditionally live in Africa. The Savannah is a grassy plain with few trees. The aquascape theme, seems to be predominantly grass.
This tank is an absolute beauty, I could look at it for hours 😍 but, so sorry to say it, the pearl gouramis, which I love very much, need densely planted zones and surface plants 🫣

I prefer when the blyxa and hygrophila are more red... I think it comes from the ligth. I'm not using RO water anymore, it's ok with tape water. Thank you for this beautifull tank .

Blyxa Japonica is one of my all time favourite aquarium plants. Haven't used it for a while. Wanting to get hold of it for a few months now. Problem is that its not easy to get near me so I have to rely on Ebay and I either get sent a wrong plant (normally people trying to give me some form of Sag, or even non aquatic plant), or its turned to mush as it doesn't seem to travel well and melts and rots easily in mail. Just ordered some now. Wish me luck.
Tropica has it in the TC range, try to find a dealer that can order for you. Otherwise ask people to send it submersed in a plastic bottle. It’s a true aquatic plant and doesn’t like traveling emersed
Hey Mark, quick question. Do you immediately switch your light on at daytime level (for example 70%) or do you add a ramp-up time (for example 1 hour from 0 to 70%) and equally a ramp-down time at the end of the ‘day’. Was wondering if this has any effect on plants. Groetjes uit Sint Niklaas!

Thats like an expensive Haircut. Looks good for two weeks and than it needs to be redone... looks nice, but its not worth the money, the time or the effort imo.... thats not an aquarium, thats an artpiece.... i prefer aquariums 🐟

Great Aquarium! You should try Noctua fans for ventilation, best performance on the market, made in Germany overall the best there is in PC fans.

Yes the light is running at 50% max intensity. For client tanks I prefer slow and stable growth

If possible a ramp up and down yes! Not so much for the plants, but more fore the fish ;)
