This must be one of the most gorgeous places in England! I live in the 'Black Country', housing estates, factories, motorways etc. - which is ok, I was born and bred here and used to it, but to imagine living in Mundensley is a dream! Lovely, thanks for taking us around Tim. 💕
Gail Hiickman..hi Gail I was in mundesley last week 11th for the day..normally it's so peaceful and tranquil but with travelling abroad restricted it was packed and didn't feel the same hopefully when things get back to normal it will go back to being a hidden gem😉..hope you get to go there one day😎
So blessed to have grown up near Mundesley, we used to walk there from north walsham as a family, picnic included, and spend all day on the beach as kids! Either there or we'd go to Happisburgh
Stayed at Mundesley holiday camp seven years on the trot back in the seventies as a family. Swimming pool, evening entertainment and three meals a day. Just like Hi De Hi! Still remember Mum taking us back to the chalet at bedtime and seeing the oil rigs with there lights on and the single flame. Competitions and half the holiday makers called Saints and the other half Sinners. Many memories.
What a lovely little seaside place. I have never heard of it before but will definately pay it a visit one day. Thank you for showing us the many glorious beaches Norfolk has to offer x
It's more than 30 years since I was in Mundesley and good to see it has changed for the better. Back then I remember lots of nice walks, going to the beach and Cromer crab. Now there's more to see and do.
These are places that I know well from childhood years. The beaches are truly beautiful. It is great to see so many people still enjoying Norfolk holidaying/days out by the seaside!!! The windbreaker is an essential though, as I recall!!!! I am impressed by the blue flag status as well. Lovely video Tim, thanks for sharing Norfolk with all.
Never mind Postman Pat, you should know that Norfolk's own Singing Postman (Allan Smethurst) met up with his smoking-obsessed girlfriend at Mundesley in his song "Hev Yew Gotta Loight, Boy?". Also, the Kingfisher complex at Walcot was my lunch stop (chips and loos) when I did my 'all around the edge of Norfolk in a Day' motorbike tours (starting and finishing in Suffolk). Great fun.
My family are from Norfolk. And do know this area. Mundsley I have been too. Although I live in Brighton these days I prefer Norfolk. Better quality of life.
Thanks for your amazing videos. We’re heading to Norfolk for the first time today for a two week trip and your content has really helped us plan. The natural delivery, information within and impressive video editing make for an engaging video; length just right too. Good luck for the future and we’ll keep watching! PayPal sent and hope it helps.
I've only visited Mundesley twice... the first time was to watch a baptism in the sea!!😅 And the second time was on a playgroup outing with a bunch of little kids... neither time did I really get to see the place in good weather or explore it for myself. I always thought it was a quiet beach... clearly not! It looks beautiful with all those brightly coloured beach huts. I'd love to go there again for a really good photography/explore day. I don't comment much on videos, but I always enjoy your beach walks, and the fact that you know what you're talking about on the area... much appreciated!😊
I lived in Norwich and we would hire a beach hut. Lovely memories however I remember the sea as being a brown colour! Oh and very cold 🥶 but it didn't stop us going in.
Hi Tim I've driven through Mundesley often on our way to Cromer and Sheringham. I think I'll stop next time it looks a beautiful little place . Thankyou for sharing with us. Love Tracey xxx
Thanks Tim ,lovely video,we stayed for a week in a barn conversion just outside Mundesley a couple of years ago,had a couple of meals at the Ship, lovely pub, sitting outside overlooking the sea. Will be back there one day,Norfolk is beautiful
Lovely little town. We have been to that area on a few occasions, but never to Mundesley, but must pay it a visit. Thanks for sharing. Have subscribed. 👍
Another fantastic vid Tim, I was brought up holidaying in Caister, and now bring my kids to Norfolk, predominantly Wells now, stayed though in Mundesley a couple of years ago, love the place, Norfolk is beautiful, thank you for highlighting this wonderful county, keep up the great work Tim
So look forward to these videos I know the weekend is near when you post it . Thanks for the great views Tim. Until the next time , keep safe my friend 👍🏻👍🏻
I was at high school in North walsham which was near there and we would hear the rumor that the actress who played pat butcher in East Ender's had a holiday home in mundsely, also I believe grant mitchels dad lived not to far from their to I think was a village called skeyton
I just to live in Bacton, the sandscaping was very cool to see, especially seeing a massive boat off the coast, there’s the Bacton Abbey too, it’s on private land though but I’ve been twice on open days, a nice village
Yes Norfolk Beach House is a self catering holiday house @norfolkbeachhouse you started your walk at the historic Admiral House, hence the flag outside 👍
Excellent stuff - I always forget that north Norfolk has some cliffs and that the towns and villages sit on top - seeing a hill in Norfolk is a strange thing 😆
Thanks Tim. Loving these, particularly the North Norfolk videos. I know they're not seaside resorts as such but I think Blakeney would be a good walk as would be the route from Snettisham to Hunstanton via Heacham. Did this route on the North Norfolk coastal path.
My dad was the last village copper in Mundesley. You've brought back some memories. It looks nice in your video during grockle season. But it in the winter all I could do is wish to be somewhere else as a kid. I see there's some improvements but if I was there now I'd still wonder what time the bus was going to Cromer (pronounced locally as Croomuh)😂. I keep looking at places in your video and thinking that used to be so and so's shop/house.
Hi Tim. I've just found this video, and as usual It was an enjoyable watch. We actually live In Mundesley, so next time you're down this way and the pubs re open, bring Gabby along and my wife and I will buy you both a drink. Keep up the good work mate 👍

Ah my favourite place in Norfolk. I was hoping youd do a video here. Ill be camping in mundesley in a few weeks time. We stay at a camp site near an old disused water tower(I think it's a water tower). Great video tim.
Great video as always but you should have gone in the Ship pub and had a pint in the garden! fantastic views and beautiful on a sunny day. Fish and chips on the beach in Walcott is fab to, "Kingfishers" do a mega large fish............. I could eat it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As my parents used to live in Walcott I only think it's fair to point out the spelling it's Walcott with two t's lol I love the two people on the green having a picnic facing the road with their backs to the sea at the start of the video LOL, nice videos keep up the good work.

Drove through this town 3 years ago whilst staying in Norwich. Lovely area and countryside.

Nice vid. I am in France now but visited Mundesley during my Coltishall days in the late 1970's and drank in the Ship Inn.
