I saw your description and I have to add, I don't think the note was from Jesus *cries* OR Sherry. It couldn't have been from Sherry, because when the person in question walks away, you can hear the loud sound of boots, much like Jesus or Dwight would wear. I don't think it was Jesus, unfortunately, because I feel he would do much more than just give him a note and run off. Jesus cares about Daryl as much as he cares about Maggie or cared about Sasha, and he wouldn't just leave Daryl to get out on his own.
