It is so true. You can't make anyone do anything that they don't want to do. And some people don't want to change. Some people are completely comfortable in their misery but that doesn't mean you have to stay there!

I cannot tell you how much I needed this right now. Thank you for reminding me that I am a person too and that I need to treat myself with the same respect I give others. 💗💗

When you said take negative words out of your vocabulary and you named every thing that feed myself. I almost cried because I feel like you were talking to me

I love this so much! Regular GT for sure! For those of us who don't have a lot of close feminine figures it's great to touch base with peers ❤

The way you explained emotional cheating is so true. It was done to me. If you're doing something you feel like you need to keep from your spouse, don't do it.
Also, how do you journal? I have tried so many times over the years but I just never know what to say. You said don't be negative about yourself, so what do you say when you're sad or upset?

🧡🧡Gloria, I don't think you realize what you do for some of us. I have zero female friends nor a mom, and you are the closest I have to advise and friendship ❤

I resignate soooo much with the co-parenting statements. Me and my ex, right off the bat said that our son was #1 and he is all that matters and giving him two secure and healthy households is what the goal is and now 7 years later, it is still to this day the most important thing and our coparenting game has only gotten stronger.
The only issue we ran into was with each others partners not liking each other's ex, we are both with the same people since the beginning of the separation and even that relationship has gotten stronger, and I myself communicate with his GF on a regular basis about my son. So a lot of growing has happened in the past 7 years and we are still growing. ❤

I can relate to your experience after your second birth. I had gotten the same way after my second birth. Still back and forth with it honestly. Libido is so connected to hormone fluctuations and how you feel about your own body. ❤

Everyone's relationships are different and "health" can vary but I've had dynamics that are spaced out and we just bargain that trust to leave each other alone unless we think something is up but also have had very open ones and both have worked for me. I compromise 50/50 and my roommate is my FWB but we've dated and we show each other stuff we're looking at and everything but I can't get on his phone and he doesn't use mine unless we ask for it or something. I've been happy both ways.😊

I love the sex discussion my OBGYN was the only one to tell me that I wasn’t going to feel sexy or have a drive and that was okay that was part of post partum but to continue to find ways to date my husband and other physical or mental stimulations for myself and husband orgasms didn’t have to full penetration and there was many ways to experience and experiment but always always date my husband because last thing we both needed was to just be roommates. When I told my folks this they were like he’s a perv I’m like no he’s not he’s honest and helping me understand why my drive isn’t there. And that is when i realized I’ll never be able to discuss these types of concerns with my folks no matter what
