I think Dyson should go back to the black boxes. It makes everything feel more premium and special. Not to mention the nickel color was actually flashy and pretty back then. Now the nickel dysons have a dull finish when you look up close. 😥 Having a DC number made each model feel special. I wish they would have stuck with those. Also in the US none of those uprights you mentioned had faulty motors. It must be a UK thing.
I’ve had my v6 absolute for almost 10 years now. Needed a battery replacement and the main Motorhead stopped working so now I just use it as a cordless handheld wiht the attachments for the sofa stairs and car. Despite being this old, the motor is still working great and it has NEVER lost suction. Even though I’ve got a gen5 now I still love how small and lightweight my v6 is.
We still have a DC35 digital slim, it’s been taken out of regular service for past 3 years but it’s at least 10 years old and still works pretty well despite being stored for last 3 years, I’m considering to sell it off at some point, it has mini turbo tool, crevice, combi, mattress , furniture dust brush and a flexi hose, no expense spared at the time, worst thing on DC35 is main head isn’t the best for carpets. Good video as always 👍🏽
I wouldn't be surprised if this product's cleaning performance and motor power density were better 12 years ago than many dupes today. Although, compared to what's (probably) coming out around May, this is junk tech that I'd scoff at today, naturally. If the embedded technologies I think and hope will be released are there, their next cordless product will be a true revolution and a far bigger deal than anything in their entire history.

Can’t wait to see what may be coming out lol
@@AverageReviewsYT Some of the technology is discussed within my recent lecture on the science of how these machines work.
