    The bike looks fantastic and that's some great work done on it! I hope that loose nut didn't cause any major problems.

    Watch out someone from Harley will be sneaking around trying to steal the engine plans for their next modern machine

    Absolutely brilliant, thanks so much for doing this. As you say, Matchless should have done this themselves. I wonder if there was some arrangement with Brough?

    Morgan used Matchless OHV engine in some of their threewheelers.Have also seen pictures of Harley side valves converted to O H V using later AMC barrels and heads.

    Beautiful V-Twin, I love preunit 4-Stroke Brit bikes. Yes: modern bikes accelerate quicker and may have a higher top end?
    But, these long stroke engines have more bottom end Grunt. I would Love to put that engine into a road bike !
    I know one thing, you could get far more miles per gallon out of it, than you would from modern bikes!
    Put a much larger engine sprocket on, for road use, then it would plod along at 60/70 all day long. "Wonderful".
    Thanks for the Video, PS, if You make the front exhaust the same length as the rear one, it will run better,
    its all about balance. ❤💜💛🤪👍

    Somehow you made a vtwin sound like a single cylinder.a little tip ,when rebuilding a engine and after correct torque values are met on any bolt or nut mark that bolt and nut with a coloured marker or paint indicating it has been torqued up correctly.good effort otherwise.👍✨

    Why not just use two g80cs heads and barrels?

    Billet cyl' heads ???.

    • @classicraceruk1337
      @classicraceruk1337 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Look on the web, they are brilliant. A billet is a length of metal that has a round or square cross section and created directly via continuous casting of extrusion. Do some research to find out why it’s a great way to construct a cylinder head. It’s as good an idea as the forged pistons and con rods they fitted.

    • @classicraceruk1337
      @classicraceruk1337 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@scruffysod You need to do some research between a billet cylinder head and a cast one. Your understanding is faulty. There a a huge difference in their thermal reactions, strength etc. it’s why it was mentioned. It’s the same with having forged con rods and pistons. I worked in the race shop for Norton motorcycles in the 60’s before they went skint. I know the differences, you appear not to. You fail to understand continuous casting for a start.
