The Capitol tortured him by hijacking him. Hijacking is a type of fear conditioning they used with tracker jacker venom. Tracker jacker venom causes fear, and the Capitol redirected that fear to Katniss

I love this speech and I love how she looks, I love watching a character change appearance wise it shows where they are mentally. In the beginning she looked innocent her skin has little to no wrinkle her hair was messy, and youthful. As she entered the games her looks changed her eyes showed what she had seen you can see her face has matured almost beyond her years, her hair is much more carefully placed, her eyes are sharp.

Katniss Everdeen is my muse, she reflects and image on me, that no one else has. All this, coupled with countless war crimes committed by Israel, blatantly gen0cid@l statements from top Israeli governors, multiple mass graves being uncovered and foreign journalists not being allowed into gaza, tells you everything you need to know. She’s such a positive role model for young people. There’s so many shallow or just bland female characters out there but katniss is really intelligent and has really good morals and her character evolves as it would with all the trauma she faces. I love the fact that the hunger games has a strong female lead without demonising men either. Peeta, haymitch,finick,cinna,Plutarch were all great positive males. I love the ending when she comes to realise that her true enemy is president coin and snow is coins puppet brilliant series.
