one little advice, its always better to run connecters to electric equipments its easier when Isolating stuff, maintenance & replacing equipment. other than that you guys are handy, wish you the best.
Thanks for the kind words mate! We didn't run connectors on the Maxxfan because it won't be coming out for a long time (if ever) so we thought a soldered connection would be stronger.

Cheers! We hadn't ordered the Maxxfan yet and were not sure exactly where we were going to place it so we went ahead with the insulation first!
