Thanks so much Michelle. I try to stay as positive as I can and usually it works. Honestly, though, I am worried a bit about my next CT scan. This is the big one!
@@BarbCosgrove-q5u thanks barb. Feeling pretty good right now. We just got our first snow fall and it is so beautiful here. We’re stocked up so we can sit back and do nothing. Lovely
You always have such good information. I didn’t know stress would affect your blood sugar numbers.😱 My blood work shows I’m pre diabetic so there will be changes. Out with the stress-if only it was that easy!
@@martiefurlong4609 not easy martie. I didn’t even know how stressed I was until after Christmas and I was done in. Still having trouble with my blood sugars though
Thanks for the information, Denise. As usual, you approach these complicated issues in a very thoughtful and thorough manner. Nothing to compare with the stresses you are tackling, but I had to take both cats for their yearly vet appointment today. I didn't sleep very well, knowing what I had in store for me ... capturing two unwilling kitties and putting them in their carriers. I almost gave up when one of them kept escaping under the bed ... but finally got her! Once at the vet's office they are not problem, it is getting them there is the issue. They both howled all the way to the office ... which, luckily for me, is only 2 miles away. Now I can rest easy until its Boo Radley's turn in April. The problem with him is he needs yearly bloodwork and he is so small they always have a hard time getting it. He does not cooperate in the least. Its traumatic for him AND for me! Hope you have a great week, Denise. And by the way you look fantastic!
@@Its_me--Boo_Radley hi Ann I was worrying about you all month thinking something had happened to your husband. I was going to email you but felt you might think I was stalking you 😆🐶 hope all well in your corner of the world. We just had our first snow ❄️ so I am doing nothing. Roxie loves the snow ⛄️. Animals and vets. Never a merry combination 🤗
@@travelsinmychair4140 Denise, please email me any time you want. I promise I won't think I'm being stalked. lol I hope you are enjoying the beauty of the first snow. All our dogs loved the snow too ... running around with their faces in the snow like little snowplows. Everything is calm and peaceful here now. Hubby is going to the casino, I've already done a few chores around the house, and now I'm sitting here with my coffee, and it is only 6:15 AM! Good start to my day. Next up ... walking the dog ... I just have to wait for daylight.
Hey Denise…. How are you doing in the freezing cold? I wanted to tell you my brother took Ozempic once, maybe twice and he was so sick. He had bad reflux issues and it ate the lining of his stomach. He now has gastroperesis. He was NOT overweight but he has had trouble with his eating ever since. He had some Alzheimer’s symptoms and they have gotten extremely worse over the past 6 months. His wife takes it and loves it because it doesn’t do anything to her. But, he is like I said a totally different man suddenly and it is hard to watch. Love to Roxie from her friend Heaven! ❤🙏
@@MichelleLanigan-m4r hi Michelle. Ozempic effects people in so many different ways yet the desperate choose to not see or hear the bad stuff. Thanks for reminding us. It started to snow last night and has just stopped. It’s beautiful and a great excuse to do nothing today. Roxie just wants to bark at the sparrows at the feeder. She likes rolling in the snow. Have a great week 🤗🐶🐾
