Synthwave has the magical formula of not sticking to modern EDM tropes and patterns and the power to create such atmospheric and rich sounds. It's honestly a highly underrated, both in sound design and diversity, genre within the EDM scene.

Liking rap & being 'educated' are not at all mutually exclusive... I'm sure it's easy to assume some kind of pseudo-intellectual attitude based on your non-mainstream music preference but it is just that, a preference. It's possible to like both rap and outrun/synthwave and I'm sure many people do. I'm not saying you can't hate rap and how popular it is buuut insulting the intelligence of people who do like it only speaks to how narrow-minded YOU are.
It preaches unrealistic lifestyles and corrupts the mind more than any other genre to date. Did not even include ALL and didnt "insult" their intelligence. Don't put words into my mouth. Speaking furthermore, the general audience that listens to it focus too much on the wrong things in life, ignorant of whats really important.
This is rad and I like it, dunno what criticism to say... Uhhhhh... Percussion is great, sounds equalized well, no annoying spikes in basstreble... Good show.
