The topic of Drashta Bhava or Sakshi Bhava at the end is very useful for all. Separating ourselves from the thoughts as we hear them and dissolving the form as we watch are crucials for meditation to happen. Thank you, mam.

I've watched talks by non-indian neuroscience doctors on Ted on this topic of what chanting mantras does to water molecules... Since the brain is majorly fluid, i knew sound frequency is doing some changes in the brain for sure. I'm so happy to have found a neuroscience expert who also chants. There is now hope for the progress and adoption of mantra chanting on a large scale....🙏🏼

One method i learnt, is just to listen to those thoughts. just listen to your mind, what thoughts which IS its voice. listen to those thoughts as if you were seperate to those thoughts. listen to how it complains, fusses, belittles, squeals, ...
don't interrupt it, just listen. min time is 10 min actually 12 min. just don't interrupt for this period.
it will give you its long stories, its deepest darkest worries, and bothers. it will tell you everything that will make you either cry or laugh rolling on the floor.
it will show you haw many fears it has. then you will see that it is only based on fear. everything those thoughts (voice of the mind) gives you are fear based / ignorance based.
immediately after 12 min. or longer if you so wish. cut off the mind. say this to it, sternly:
    "..
well done, you let all your waste out, yoiu must be empty now .."
".. do you have any other much stuck in you to let out .."
now wait another 12 min listening to the mind though your thoughts..
the voice would be quiter now. angry but quieter. embarassed but more hurt.

@@drsweta.adatia Hi Doctor, it appears in the video that meditation is meant for healing the body and mind and achieve the best in this world. Of course meditation can be used that way. In spirituality, it is only a side effect.
I think it would be better to avoid the word spirituality here as it is meant to go beyond this body and mind and know that this is all Maya and to realise who we really are beyond body and mind.

This month I have planned to bring a guideline for the corporates regarding “Prayer”, which I feel has been missed out of the institutions and organisations post the schooling. Ma’m, I wanted to know from you whether you have approached any corporate organisations for any sessions/ guidance/ practices which we see on TH-cam .. ? Hello Madam, Good day. Hope you are doing well today. I watched your one Hour Video about the "Neuroscience of Chanting" and was astonished to see how scientifically, you were able to connect the power of Chanting Hindu Mantras helps us to increase our AURA and also enables our brain to function better. But I have one doubt please. This is based on my observation within my Family and friends. What I have observed is that these people keep chanting different Mantras and knows Rudram, Purushashktam, Narayanashuktam , lalitasahashranamam, Vishu Sahasranamam and many more. But these people always think in a negative way. There is always a kind of Partiality witout rational thinking without the essence of Humanity. They treat people with less money in a bad way. Selfishness, Greed and Jealousy is always there in their thinking. They dont treat animals with love. The earth is for every living creature but their thinking is it is only for humans. The thinking is "me and Mine". I am assuming that with Chanting of these Mantras, the thinking process should improve i the betterment of the humanity and thinking positive and good about others. But this does not happen. Can you please shed some light on why people think in such a negative way. Thanks.

Ravana too was chanting mantras and stotras like Siva tandava ect but due to lacking discrimination and introspection he ruined himself and Lanka also.
So one has to practice meditation along with introspection for elevation..
Only Chanting is not enough unless we know the purpose of human life. Hope you could get my point.

Thank you, Dr., for the informative and interesting video. I've learned a lot about the benefits of chanting and meditation for brain function and overall well-being. While I've been practicing these techniques for the past four years, I'm still struggling with tinnitus. Do you have any specific recommendations for those with tinnitus, or can you suggest any modifications to my current practice?

I'm having over depression, anxiety & Ocd since 2011. The reason behind it something that is happing today also. But I Trust in time. I Trust on Divine Power.
So I stopped medicine for 3-4 months. And magically I don't get any problem that I stoped it. I TRY to meditate. I do breathing technique. I do body movement. I do puja Everyday, I chant Hare Krishna maha mantra everyday, I chant Ram nam everyday, I heal myself by chanting Ho'oponopono. I have good diet now.
    BUT
Everything is not in my control. I don't have literary anyone to guide me on my mental health. Beacuse that is an extreme.
Thoughts come in my mind 24/7.
OCD systems like saying any abnormal thing in my mind Again n Again. Lots of lots of unnecessary Mania.
And the main thing is Panic in a smallest situation. Palpitation happens and it is so bad Trust me. I can't explain you my anxiety level.
Another important thing is my believe system has like died. Even if something is true but still my mind thinks the ultimate. The beyond a Normal people can think of.
I don't want to take medicine. It gives me worst side effect.
I am smart, I have great communication skills. I am theatre Artist. I am a literature student. I am a formar state cricketer. But I am POOR too.

I am a family physician and geriatric specialist also in to life style and anti aging medicine in USA. I have been practicing Heartfulness meditation for 30 years.
My sincere advice to you is to see a psychiatrist and psychologist. Do labs to make sure your thyroid, adrenals, cbc, liver and kidney function tests, amylase, glucose. lipase are all checked. Start a journal and modify your life style. Your gut health has connection to your brain health. Stop all processed foods, sugar, animal products, gluten, refined flours
Eat plant based whole food whole grain nutritious foods
      Exercise 60 minutes daily
Sleep at 10 pm and wake up at 5 am and do 30 minutes meditation, no smoking or drugs or alcohol, talk to your friends daily and seek out to psychotherapy. Good luck

If you ask questions on wrong platform, you are bound to get wrong solutions. Your problems are not at the level of body and mind. Spirituality is not meant to find purpose in life but to know the reality i.e, who you are beyond this appearance. Go for Bhava Spandana by Sadhguru or 21 day Osho meditation camp or join Kriya Yoga classes in your city.
