draemon and maynard keenan already know what's gonna happen before it happens.. it's part of the programming and they're assigned to counter the 'story'
@jay son That exists, yes, but a huge reason why such conflict exists is because of other benefits as well. For example, I am Kurdish and my family comes from Iraq. Under Saddam's reign, we Kurds were targeted under the dictator's rule. Random Kurdish men who were of age were forcibly taken from their homes to be drafted into the Iraqi army. If the family resisted, they would be killed. Even a certain amount of facial hair (I don't remember if beards were prohibited or required) could be reason enough to be a targeted Kurd. Bombs were buried underground near playgrounds and homes, waiting to go off when anyone Kurdish walked over them. People were buried alive and it was just horrible. My own mother nearly got drafted into their military. My dad went to university so that his drafting would be put on hold. The U.S. only became involved so much because there is a large amount of oil in Iraq and multiple credible sources have stated this (I read it in a book I had to read for my APUSH class a few years ago so I don't remember the title of it unfortunately). Yes, there are ethical reasons for war and now my family over seas is very safe thanks to that. Hell, I'm alive because the U.S. intervened and succeeded... but there are also corrupt reasons that are fed by greed that fuel war. It's like a two-sided coin, and too much corruption leads to a certain degree of unnecessary violence and warfare.

I have been Listening to this álbum twice, even this song in my penultimate year at university. On the top of that when I listen to this song I remember such good memories
Speaking to Metal Hammer about the inspiration for the song, Draiman said: "There's always someone we have to fear, there's always another battle we have to go and fight, and they continue to profit off it. So it's just encouraging people to see through the narrative. And it's a narrative that is not unique to any one country on this planet. There are fear-mongers everywhere, and there's a massive machine out there, whose wheels continue to turn over the bodies of the innocent."
AWESOME. Love you guys. You have only gotten better over the years. I cannot thank you enough for just being awesome. No other band has the balls to upload their entire album to youtube.
I love how disturbed is able to make great music that still has a deep and powerful message. It shows how much their music truly means to them unlike a lot of the more "mainstream" pop and rap.

@Alex Wishardt The fuck. Every single time someone brings up international policy, there's people like you that spout bullshit like "oh the jews did it because they're jews." What the fuck man. If you're going to do that, at least fucking explain yourself.
Iran really does need to be deleted.
Israel wants war with Iran
Best song of the album hands down
BORDAMANDER Oh dear if this is the best. Not a bad song but if this is the best that doesn't even compare to previous work. Sound like filler imo.
This and Are You Ready
@@YAH93 yeah i agree
Agreed
Are you ready and a reason to fight are the best ones of this album for me.
The best song however, is a tie between are you ready and What are you waiting for?
Sandor Grau-Fay at least with the amount of popularity
Slipknot ?
Ayreon too.
Actually more artists are doing this now then ever. Spotify is free its on there so why not
Metallica? Hardwired?
In 2022 this song starts to sound like a prophecy.
As a afgan vet, this really speaks to me.
I love how disturbed is able to make great music that still has a deep and powerful message. It shows how much their music truly means to them unlike a lot of the more "mainstream" pop and rap.
They stay coming out with amazing album after album
This means a lot especially when u consider the stuff thats happened in the middle east since the 50s
As in AD 50
No as in 1950s
In the US today, right now, all around you. You're missing the plot
@@melissaz1471 well I get that the song applies everywhere
The Vengeful One part 2?
I need this music to play it loud against our corrupt governments in my country
Slipknot XIX
I listened to this whilst writing a book about an anarchist revolution for the No Mans Land of North America.
Fitting, isnt it?
We find ourselves once again hearing the call to war in some eastern European region. And I find myself listening to this song again wondering when will people finally wake up to the bs neverending war.
We the People need to play loudly to all the world governments and the rest of the world so that they may understand that the government's don't care about people just profits.
PEACE, LOVE, UNITY TO ALL
The Robber Barons and global oligarchs won't appreciate that. But they know a good 48 hours of mainstream corporate propaganda will wash those brains clean.
Wasn’t a fan of the album as a whole but Love this song
Listened to the whole thing and this is the best. Only one that stands out honestly
I agree with you but honestly I think disturbed has gone downhill
It used to be heavy as hell but now we get half ass no metal band. It's just music. Hmm
I agree with both of you. Yes, I still like disturbeds music but it is nothing like the old disturbed that was motivating and heavy now it's like they are more trying to so more stuff like sound of silence because it got the most views. Sound of silence was amazing. But yes this is the best of new album and " Are you Ready" other than that it wasn't magic right away to me at least.
@@calvincaldwell1869 I kind of moved on from disturbed because it's way to slow I'm a total metal head. And this is so slow and it's really not metal.
Besides Watch you burn, I loved them all, haha.
Austin Anthony yeah I’m in same boat. Wasn’t a fan of immortalized nor the cover song. Few good tracks on there like the bonus ones. This album will be interesting but I won’t listen to the acoustic sappy shit more than once.
Millions will listen to this piece of truth unfortunately only very few will hear it for the message it delivers.
💯
Yes. So sad.....
Saw them front row in Orlando the other night, they killed it!!!
Cadê os BR q curte uns rock?? ♥🎶
This feels like an Earlier 2000 Disturbed! Hahah
4 yeares later, it still has a meaning..😢
My God, I listened to this song three years ago, and I never thought I would literally live it...It's beautiful and powerful...
disturbed predicted corona
Year 2024 and has more meaning now than ever
God bless you, sir. This album helped me a lot. Thank you, sir.
A song, for the ones of us with our eyes wide open. I have been following Disturbed for quite sometime and they hit the nail on a lot of difficult subject.
We have 3rd row front and center tickets for July 13, 2021 at Blossom Music Center, Richfield, Ohio.
I'm taking my 25 year old son to his 1st concert. Disturbed, Staind, Bad Wolves.😃
Once again, the most relevant song out there.
Only found this band about 1yr ago and can not get enough fantastic 👏
So relevant for today. It’s all about power and greed
Should check out land of confusion, just as relevant as ever
Everytime i listen to this masterpiece I feel indestructible
The bass, is fking sick! Love the whole album. Every word of it is true, in every way. So up-to-date, too. this album is so cool.
ready to make a statement? you've come to the right album!
There's this rule: There's no such thing as a bad Disturbed song.
This is no exception.
No more!!!! You're so right!!! Love you from Greece. Hope to see you in Athens soon!!!
One of your most consistently amazing songs, ever.
This Album is A Masterpiece in every single song..
The military needs to hear this!
Sucks when you so stupid you don’t understand we are trying to stop wars!
@World's Unknown further more the last administration did start but ended wars!
What you mean what !!! Are you talking about?!? Cause your just that kinda hater?!? Or is it because your insecure?!? Cause we all watch the news and your probably sitting on your ass no job just bitching! Go away don’t need any more fake news then is already out here!
2020 & STILL haven't heard this played on the radio......................
Lo sé, es bastante extraño...
There is a station playing it here in Edmonton. 100.3 The Bear.
@@fixinman Gracias amigo, la verdad es bueno utilizar las plataformas que permiten ponerse en contacto con la comunidad internacional y saber realmente cuál es el pensar y el sentir de las personas en otros países. Gracias/ Thank you.
Heard it for a while in 2018 but it does have the word whore in it so that might be why.
Perfectly sums up America rn. I love you Disturbed. You'll always be my favorite coping mechanism and band.
This is freaking amazing!!! The lyrics are dope!!! Oh my fucking god, I love this band. Amazing job guys!!!
Idk, “no longer be their whore” sounds like a sloppy, filler line to me, rest is great tho
I agree. Such a great album. Can't stop listening to it. Lol😎😋 great job guys! Disturbed 2018!
This is one of the best songs I’ve heard on their already insanely badass albums
has such a meaningful and healthy message, because, unlike many other songs
I literally cannot get over just how beautiful this masterpiece truly is
Speaker of the Parliament of Finland, Jussi Halla-aho recomended your song.
New colors in 2022...
Was on your show in Kyiv...
God bless you.
I Hope will see you again.
Disturbed continues to outdo themselves in 2019... Mega talent
Amazing song love disturbed since the first time I heard their music 10 years ago
Listenning to your music since 2011, thats when I got into this type of music and there is no looking back
As an american having my tax money funding the genocide in Israel, this song speaks to me
I hear ya, but he is a Jew and he sings for Israel.
@@3155bamfdc yeah makes it very ironic
