Transcendant because of the news🤦🏼♂️ they only care for money knowing they make the issues worsen from it look at America North Carolina university shooting three weeks later Colorado school shooting right down the street from a school in the mass school that shocked the world in early 2000 it’s the news the problem?
I listen to this song a lot and it makes sense. The media talks about murderers and, glorifies things like October first. I live in Vegas family member and people who I knew were supposed to be there. 2 of my family members were working during the time at the MGM. Luckily everyone had work that day. How ever they talked about how many guns he owned, his brother and so much more than what was needed and, majority of the dead and Victims we put on facebook instead of the news. This song shows how the media doesn't pay attention and uses victims as a way to get money and, glorifies those who commit crimes. This song is one of my favorites because, it speaks the truth
Almost none of these monsters gave a single fuck about being famous. Many just wanted to to hurt the world that destroyed them. Insane as these killers are, you can’t prevent the next one if you can’t understand the last. Ignoring their name will only ensure more killings.
Right. Refer to them as "the killer" and make them look like monsters, and maybe people will use some sense and say "hey, I don't want to look bad like that" and perhaps then we'd see less killings. Of course, there's always the insane, but for the most part, the murder rates could go down. Maybe just a little, maybe drastically. But at this point, anything would be good.
Firewolf12937 You do understand that most mass shooters are already insane and this kind of attention only attracts other psychopaths? Also calling them "killer" gives them a "cool" touch which is also contraproductive.
perhaps if society didn;t glorify killing and refuse to take responsibility for ones own actions, want to have sex? no problem, just murder the baby when he or she is inconvenient, something doesn;t go your way blame someone else, etc. when someone does shoot people up blame the games instead of poor parenting, or blame the guns instead of the shooter. until society puts the spotlight back on responsibility the killing will not stop, will only get worse
sh9683 What are your thoughts on if someone gets raped and becomes pregnant as a result with a child they do not want? That's what I'm wondering... It seems more moral to me to also "murder" something that doesn't really understand its existence than a dude on a battlefield who is well aware of his existence and has a family of his own and all that and is just following orders because he was drafted... Killing that guy is fine, but a developing human unable to comprehend itself who would be hated by its parents, live in poverty and quite possibly turn to crime? That's somehow worse? The thing thats being aborted is probably less aware of itself than the old family pet that gets put down because its hind legs are failing it (despite the fact that it might still want to live... Even though you can't really tell and it'd potentially cost a lot of money to keep it alive and well...) Dogs like border collies can be smarter than a 2 year old human... Another thing worth mentioning is you can have sex and not really risk pregnancy (there's always at least a tiny chance, but if you use protection you can make it like 99% certain to not result in a pregnancy) so it's not as simple as just "want to have sex? that means an abortion!" Sometimes people don't have the option to use protection due to rape or extreme poverty (which wouldn't be a good start for a child to grow up in) and while the former can't really be helped (which can be bad if you are in poverty too and could not care for the child... I don't know why someone would argue against an abortion in such a case where a child would grow up unwanted, impoverished and likely forced to turn to theft and be a drain on welfare...) the latter it'd probably be best that they try and sort their lives out first... The people who are the least responsible would be the ones who have the means to get protection and yet choose not to just for a better time... (There's also times where one side tricks the other into thinking they have taken precautions when they haven't... Those people are horrible human beings who are only slightly better than rapists... Again, those who were tricked I don't think deserve to be punished with a child they don't want who might grow up in poverty and so forth...) Anyway, that's my thoughts on that... I agree with some of the other stuff you said though like the problems with the school shootings seem to be just poor parenting, mental illness and often too easily access to guns (though often that is due to the parents being bad (although, they could probably be required to take lessons on keeping their guns locked up and not lying around loaded and from what I've heard it doesn't seem like when you buy a gun from some guy that you are required to have a license showing that you have had training and know what you are doing for the exchange to be legal... Instead you just seem to need the money to buy it which leads to people leaving guns and ammo accessible... No need to ban guns (that'd be absurd), but I think you Americans could use some knowledge on gun safety for those idiots who ruin things for everyone else...) Another thing is politicians often just blame video games (or hilariously porn with that last school shooting... (which apparently comes from a store and not the Internet these days... Shows how out of touch that woman is...) Because apparently their logic is that somehow looking at nudity makes children decide to steal a gun and shoot up their school... Not exactly sure how that works, but that's what that politician said happens when kids look at porn from magazines as they do in the 21st century... lol xD

@@shelbybayer200 I agree. Killing is not something people should do recklessly. If you must hate, hate what is bad. If you must kill, kill that wich threatens what is good. If you must wage war, wage war against evil and those who worship it. But even so, we must be careful. Just as when we choose to take a life, we must also be diligent and work harder to save a life. Nothing in life that is worth having ever comes easy. Do not be quick to judge someone if you do not know all the facts. There are many monsters in our world right now, but that doesnt mean we can throw caution to the wind.
With all thats going on today, esspecially regarding these so-called politicians and media, these words are all too true. People are out here standing on graves and preaching oppression. Praised for it even. Just goes to show that Disturbed keeps making timeless pieces because we will always have to deal with people like this.
Reminds of the backstory to the book (though not mentioned in the film), Starship Troopers... Young men becoming so violent and society becoming so passive that a group of military veterans have to seize the government just to keep society from killing itself...

Too many didn't survive
Still they kept repeating headlines shouting the name

The pictures drove me insane
Can't get them out of my brain
You made certain they were right at the top of the page
You disrespected the dead
When the only name was of the one who committed the murder at the top of the page
The madman watching with glee
As the herd of innocents flee
They saw it all unfold right on the face of the screen
Perhaps they could be the one
Who'd become famous for the acts of terror reflected on the face of the screen?
You've thrown morality away
With such depravity, I must say
You made sure the world will remember the name
But didn't the thought even enter your mind
You'd give a new legion of monsters a reason to take your life
And I call you a pimp, as you whore the insane
The damage you caused, you cannot rectify
You've inspired new legions of monsters determined to take more life
Take a look around
Listen to the sound
Feel it on the ground
Fear has come in a wave
Just another gathering of helpless innocents forced into the grave
Listen to me now
Are you with me now
Can you tell me how these vultures still glorify them
Lets defy them
Take a look around
Listen to the sound
Feel it on the ground
Fear has come in a wave
Just another gathering of helpless innocents forced into the grave
Listen to me now
Are you with me now
Can you tell me how these vultures still glorify them
Lets defy them
You made sure the world will remember the name
But didn't the thought even enter your mind
You'd give a new legion of monsters a reason to take your life
And I call you a pimp, as you whore the insane
The damage you caused you cannot rectify
You've inspired new legions of monsters determined to take more life
The monster shattered the day
The monster shattered the day
You're giving a legion of monsters a reason
why post lyrics on a lyric video? 🤔
@@elmanana8251 Some people are not able to read as fast as they are presented in the video, also, if you dont know the lyrics you wont be able to sing along with the lyrics in the video
Damn, it's been 5 years and it's still awesome
The bad part is that it’s still relevant.
FINALLY a song with a theme *that makes its theme obvious*
This really got me thinking
Exactly!
The news used to be about promoting good things and shaming and disgracing acts like this.
Now, the only people and things that make headlines are killing, corruption and immorality.
Justice never had a chance the second the media aired this horrendous act as if it was a virtual reality game announcer saying "KILLING SPREE".
I lost faith in humanity.
@@lyxnyte9239
I can't have faith in something that just goes bad the more the years go by
In my opinion our society of humans are not smart at all
Only those of us who try to be smart and rational with things should be recognized
The dead should be recognized, all the people who kill shouldn't get a shred of sympathy
If you ask me, Murderers should all be given the death penalty and not be able to live out their sentences in Prison only to be able to be released and return to the streets
This song literally bas one of the hardest beats and baselines ever created . Jesus christ 🔥🔥🔥
After many years of not watching disturbed the visions bring me back and I remember everything
I really love disturbed and this lyrics video is just flames. Keep it up I'd like to see more from you. PLS POST MORE.
What?
Sorry, i shoulnt have left my phone to a friend of mine --'
Nevermind
Haha ok
This song provides a better lesson on media ethics than I've had in a year of college
Wow I love this
Shadow Riley Berkhard that you? Never met a Grimm before.
With all thats going on today, esspecially regarding these so-called politicians and media, these words are all too true. People are out here standing on graves and preaching oppression. Praised for it even. Just goes to show that Disturbed keeps making timeless pieces because we will always have to deal with people like this.
I love this song. So glad to see the lyrics
First couple times I heard it I didn't even register the lyrics, now I appreciate it 20x more
I don’t care what other people say this is awesome
Everytime I hear this, Hellsing Ultimate keeps popping up in my head. Killer track for it though.
@i hate anime username checks out
yes
I love the drummer in this song
Mike Wengren is soo good!
In 2022 the mainstream media is ripping this country apart!
GOD DAMN IT!
I like how literal this message is.
I wouldn't even realize this was your first video if you didn't say anything. Well done.
Thank you Disturbed, very cool!
I wanna show this to every major news network.
Pretty sure the people in charge are aware of what they are doing, they just prefer money over morality.
0:13 badassery starts
Sounds great thanks for posting this.
Every few days/weeks/months .. this song is relevant again. Fucking hell.
Reminds of the backstory to the book (though not mentioned in the film), Starship Troopers... Young men becoming so violent and society becoming so passive that a group of military veterans have to seize the government just to keep society from killing itself...
This song is perfect for recent events.
Beautifully put.
Одни из немногих, кто в наше время говорит правду в Царстве Лжи. Бог да благословит вас! (Донецк)
You are one of those who tell the truth in Lies Kingdom in our time. God bless you! (Donetsk)
I approve of your message. We have let mediacracy fester for too long.
Then they lie about the monster to fit their agenda.
Absolutely disgusting.
Say, can you give more context to this statement?
i am pretty sure he thinks about society that pushed killers into such rage act... corrupted them to core than lied about them to fit their agenda
to serve and protect
@@mihajlopupin8381 pretty damn close amigo
Tf means?
So glad I'm not the only one disgusted with the fact media gives these horrible people the recognition they want. It's like spitting on the victims' graves. Media is horrid. The only names anyone needs are the innocents who lost their lives for no ethical reason. Only the innocents deserve to be remembered. The murderers deserve to be castaway and completely forgotten.
So true like the Las Vegas shooting 4 years ago god bless to the victims in the Las Vegas shooting 4 years ago my there soul's rest in peace and my that find peace where ever that are
This song represents all the fame that is given to all the mass murderers and shows that it should be the ones fallen who get the attention and prayers.
Not to mention the familys how lost there loved ones, and the shooter is the one everyone remembers and not the people.
Focus on the victims not the monsters there’s no understanding a monsters motives or mind.
Good Job, I finally understand what this song is about :)
We have a new addition to my playlist
THE PICTURES DROVE ME INSANE.
CAN'T GET THEM OUT OF MY BRAIN.
Disturbed is fixing my scizophrenia. Feel powerful now.
Hope you get better Broski
CRIMINALLY UNDERRATED
Disturbed once again ahead of society by years.

Disturbed write songs with deep meanings!
Once I fully understood the lyrics of this song I shuddered...
It's sad how accurate they are. I wish the news reporters could take the message.
Disturbed never cease to surprise me with their new songs in their new albums!!
This song is like a druge to me i NEED to hear it at least once a day or i feel bad
Legion of monsters?
Doomguy in all problems:as a one really good solution.
Doom Slayer is also a monster, his mental is a monster... Slaughter only for fun
@@quanghuynguyenang8455 if you think that then your hella wrong he doesn't do it because its fun he do it because of revenge and to make sure the real monsters dont hurt others

This song is amazing!
Oh man i love this Song.
This song just keeps being relevant, bless the souls in El Paso ❤
This song was written in response to the media's coverage of the shooting at Sandyhook Elementary School... We saw the message of this song coming true again, recently...
Thank you, David Draiman; someone had to say it!
Instead of News stories about the shooters, this should play instead.
I love the songs that are against the media it reminds me so much of system of a Down
Love this song!
This is puré art
I love this album since the day he was born
That was actually really good!
After this day more important then ever this song
That's the news media for ya.
I really hate that disturbed is so overlooked, easily one of the best bands out there.
This song is timely right now.
My neighbor loved this song so much that he threw a brick through my window to hear better

WHY DOES LITERALLY EVERY DISTURBED SONG RELATE TO 2020-2022
Nice video!
Can't stop playing this song i have it on repeat i love it😍😍😍😍😍😍❤
Never thought Bush Sr being lionized would be what brings me to this song on International AIDS Day.
Nobody:......
The Legion from dead by daylight: (!!!music intensified!!! )
The dead are just remembered as statistics, yet monsters get their names written in history, let us remember the heroes and the victims, but let the monsters name rot with them.
