- A 1/16 Scale Mini Licensed Toyota FJ40 RC Car. It's got realistic smoke, engine sounds, a horn, lights and so much more. But I'm not sure it's any good!

I wish all the RC companies stopped lying about scale because we have brains, measure tapes, and math knowledge, so it's easy to tell
That's just part of the game when these companies choose product from a brochure label it as there own and markup the price. You never get what you actually ordered when dealing with manufacturers in China. They always change it before the production run to screw you. That's why even wpl toys has multiple vehicles listed at 1:16 and they all vary from 1:14 to 1:20 in reality. They know they aren't. But they aren't sending a sea can back to China and missing out on our money. My last c34 came in basically a bluish purple lol. Haven't seen a single one like it yet. It's just mass produced junk with little to no quality control 🤣
Well the running gear they use is for several cars. Then they adjust the bodies to fit the width and length of the frame setups they have. Making every body true scale would cost much more in the production of all the other needed parts.
@@jonathan5354 FCX18 and FCX24 use the same platform, but they are not same length, the difference is on suspension and transmission links and the chassis frame. So, no, not an excuse.
@@unloveableandre yes you are right. The FMS rochobby 1:6 and 1:10 scale have so many interchangeable parts that they are almost the same underneath
@@jonathan5354 I just wish they stay truth to scale when it comes to body shell. Not worth lying about measures and if that scalates, it's bad for everybody... cheers

I actually just got the Suzuki Jimny. I was so let down about the 3x4. I thought it was broke when I received it. Even sent back and got replacement. The add on Amazon still says 4x4 then down at the bottom of the description says they removed drive to font left in order to help turn on flat surfaces.
The scaleness of it is bad ass though, from the lighted mirrors to the hidden electronics.
I will find a way to lock that front axle shaft and make it true 4x4.

Difference between normal and Pro version is the sound and smoke module. Rest is the same. For now I'm upgrading the mn 82 to something more usable lol probably getting the Trasped at some point just for tinkering lol

That's weird they use baby oil in the smoker I've seen them use water it's just a Mist that comes out RC Sailors had a tank that smoked out the back and you just add water to it, still pretty neat little truck though love that bright lime green color(my favorite color) 🤟
Never mind the sound & smoke I'd rather have something that performs out of the box, indicators or not. 😂😂😂

So, I could see drifters being interested in this for the purpose of re-purposing the smoke machine. My understanding is that one used to be made for 1/10 drift cars but are no longer being made and are hard to come buy. Not sure if it would work the same way or not...
