Please tell me this model is the deformation of the structure under its own weight?

When we test a structure, besides others concentrated forces, we must add gravity force, right?

Hi, I have a question. I am modelling an assembly imported form CAD. The parts have been defined in mm by default, in your video you also model the part in mm, so I think could help me pretty well. :)
What units should the density and Force have is you define the part in mm:
-then the densiy is 10^12 times smaller than in International units (you input 7.82e-9 when density is 7820kg/m3)
-Young Modulus is 10^-6 times smaller than in International units (you input 210e3 when it should be 210e9) and you indicate this is MPa
-The force is 10^3 bigger than in International units (you input 9810 when ut should be 9.81)

I figured out by doing some google reseach. In any case someone has this problema also, check out the table of this link, there you can check the consistent units to input abaqus-docs.mit.edu/2017/English/SIMACAEGSARefMap/simagsa-c-absunits.htm

well...not really true, Abaqus doesnt have units, so you are really choosing what the numbers mean. Subsequently, you choose your unit. One way to go is to use milimeter and Newton. So, acceleration is 9810 mm/s2. MPa is N/mm2 etc...
The only problem is that i think he defined density wrong....but i could also be wrong....came down to comment section to find out xD

@@woodrunner51 What do you think the density should be?This is the point that confused me in this video.

@@mubetcelcayirbag5299 hello, in the mean time i foun that his density is actually correct. You can benchmark by making a 1*1*1m block and put it under 9810 acceleration. And you can type avaqus units to find some recommended units....here for density its something eith tonnes and mm3 i think...

ABAQUS SIMULATION a concrete beam with a prenotch is analysed with cdp and general riks step loading....I have given damage parameter loading and mesh but after results, beam is not getting fracture simply it is deflecting....
