Oh hell yeah this is in my top 3 for sure! Hope you love it and you’re prepared to sink in a couple hundred hours. Definitely the most satisfying leveling system in any game. Also the saving thing really isn’t a problem, you find plenty of opportunity to save once you have a few bucks and can afford an inn wherever you travel, you can also always fast travel back to your home bed and save that way. And Savior Schnapps becomes super easy to find/craft/purchase after about hour 10. I highly recommend doing things “legit.” It’s not too obtrusive and it’s very rewarding.
Saving is doable even with savior schnapps but to be honest i like mod for saving too. First time i finished game i didn't mind at fist but later i downloaded mod specially when i wanted to abuse game more.

I actually just played this for the first time myself, and had a great time for all 150 hours. Excited to see your playthrough. I imagine someone in your chat will probably have told you this by now, but in case they haven't, those food pots are all over the place (either over a campfire or on a stove) and give you 24 nourishment for free every time. So hunger really shouldn't ever be an issue unless you're spending hours and hours out in the wilderness.

I love this game. Becoming a poacher is possibly the best way to become a millionaire in KCD, as long as you are not caught, and you cook your kill before trying to sell.
That mod was a bad idea, the game saves whenever you close it, so you wouldn't have ever lost progress without it. The saviour schnapps system was designed to put a cost to being unwilling to accept the consequences of your decisions, so you needed to use your schnapps to quick save. The mod is basically a free money cheat allowing you to not only avoid spending money to escape consequences (which you shouldn't be trying to do anyway, it's more fun if you just roll with it) but also allow you to sell the saviour schnapps you find. Next time someone recommends that you use mods for a first time play-through of any game, please give them a stern look of disappointment and ignore the suggestion.
Sehr gute Wahl. Ein ausgezeichnetes Spiel. P.S. Bogenschießen auch (was später kommt).

Great game. I had to put it down for a while and come back to it tho. I had spent like 2 hours grinding my archery, and because the same system sucks, I had not saved. Near the two hour point, my archery competition friend shot me, and a nearby guard arrested me for "stealing" the arrow that was stickng out of my ass... While pretty funny, I was so annoyed I had to put the game down for like 3 months.
This game is amazing. Story is quite fun for the bit I played. The world they build is amazing. I just can't get the hang of the combat though. So sadly I had to quit playing.
The combat in this game has a fairly steep learning curve, but once you get a good feel for it, you'll be set. This game is a masterpiece. I am so hyped for the sequel. Also, if you're interested, I can give you some tips, but I can understand and respect if you want to figure things out for yourself.

If your mom gives unlimited free healing, you can cheese the game and keep fighting Kunesh to boost your unarmed skill before leaving Skalitz. Also, with haggling you should remember that most merchants will take or give up to 10% on haggle so ask for 15 to 20% and after the counter offer, don't ask for more than half the difference between your offer and their counter offer or they get angry. If they are angry enough they will not trade with you.
Lizz, So glad you decided to play this game. You will need patience to get through KCD. Well to be honest , ,,Save potion'' is really easy to obtain , and your game is automatically saved whenever you close it or just go to your bed and sleep . Even streames in hardcore mode are able to play without mods . Don't listen noobs :D .. anyway wish u the best playthrough . you'll enjoy it i am sure .
I love Kingdom Come: Deliverance. But I hate the combat system. People always say that you just have to get used to it. But I played the game for 300+ hours and never got used to it. xD
Unfortunately this would've collided with your core audience being English speakers but I've gotta say.. I _highly_ prefer the German synchronization over the English one in this game. Lord Divish is just the tip of the iceberg. I usually prefer English or better yet Original voices and I'm generally not a fan of German dubs despite their reputation for being of pretty high quality in comparison to other countries. In this game however they knocked it out of the park imo.. (for me it's German > Czech > English in KCD). Just had to say it. Looking forward to the VODs :D
In this game it would even make sense, since the region had a lot of German. BUT in general I have to cringe so badly when I hear German voice acting. It's always so unnatural.. and I say that as a German.
@@LIZZgame Exactly. It's pretty fitting considering the setting. Far more fitting than most of these English accents tbf. I'm with you in the cringe department, tho.. at least in many modern games/series it can be quite rough and off-putting. You have to acknowledge there's a long legacy of actually decent VA's in film however that outshone most other countries VA back in the day. Nothing beats OG ofc. ;)
Recently bought this game because of the sequel.. I hadn't played it yet. I just bought star wars the force unleashed for my switch since I haven't played that since it was originally released in 2008
@LIZZgame okay.... Sorry if I was being a pest lol.... But I think you would like it... It's like a mixture of resident evil and silver hill mixed..... With a little bit of final fantasy... Have a great day
@@LIZZgame It is definitely overwhelming at the start, but in time it does all make sense. I am definitely one of those types of people who don't like too many game mechanics or overly cluttered interfaces because my tiny brain can't cope, so if I can get to know the game pretty well after a few sessions in the game, I think anyone can! 😁
Please, don't abuse saves. The game is made this way so there's a weight to your decisions. At first it may be a bit tough, but later in the game you can brew savior shnaps with ease using alchemy, so saving will not be an issue at all. Also the game saves automatically when you sleep in your bed and quit the game, and at certain checkpoints during quests P.S. there's almost always multiple solutions to the quests, so if you fail one, you can still try other methods and don't need to revert the latest save 🙈
I understand that you want the game be played a certain way, the way it was created. For me personally, if I'd have to repeat the same things over and over because I died, I'd lose patience and my fun would be spoilt. Now we could argue that I just have to change my attitude, be more patient etc.. OR I just use the mod I installed and have a blast the way I play the game. And I think fun is the reason we all play games in the first place. That looks different for everybody.. but the 663,748 unique downloads on Nexus are proof I am not alone in prefering to save whenever one pleases in a difficult, vast and complex open world RPG.
@@LIZZgame I'd just argue that you may may skip some interesting and fun content if you always try to achieve the best outcome with abusing the save system. And it breaks the immersion quite a bit. But you do you. And the mod has this high number of downloads because initially on launch the game would allow you to save with savior schnaps only. Not while sleeping, not while quitting the game, only at checkpoints and with schnaps. Which of course has been fixed quite soon after.
@@1lots It's not like I save and reload all the time. I save as a sort of insurance, but you won't see me reload to get a better outcome all that often. It's a RARE thing for me to do, usually I go with my decision, unless it's REALLY bad. Most of the saving I do is to prevent me having to repeat tedious bits, like riding a bigger distance, or before I enter combat.
What mod did you use so you can save? Im new to PC gaming and I want to play this but I want to be able to save anytime, I have a very limited amount of time I can play and I don't want to redo long sections of the game.
Just bought this game, search your gameplay for dishonored and looked on your channel to see whats the newest thing amd its kcd? Why this always happens to me, i buy game, TH-camr i know plays it. Its crazy, like, wow

Was ich definitiv begrüße.

Please make sure Henry is getting a bath, cleaning and the extra service for a buff.
I am now a couple hours in and I JUST found a bath house today.
Your first play of a game you know nothing about and my first time seeing someone playing a game I know nothing about, should be fun
prepare for chaos!

Henry comes to see us!!!!
This is such a great game 👍
Nothing beats OG ofc. ;)
Wenceslaus the NPC 😂
oh my god i never clicked so hard
Recently bought this game because of the sequel.. I hadn't played it yet. I just bought star wars the force unleashed for my switch since I haven't played that since it was originally released in 2008
ooooh have fun!
Good times
I think they already made possible to save whenever possible in game even without mod.
I love this game. So glad more people have started to play it.
Awesome !
In my opinion, sneaky Henry is the best Henry in this game!
not when I play him lol
Very nice and very funny comment. Thanks.
Has anybody ever suggested to her parasite Eve... It's one she would probably really enjoy... More people need to recommend it
yeah it's been recommended a few times!
@LIZZgame okay.... Sorry if I was being a pest lol.... But I think you would like it... It's like a mixture of resident evil and silver hill mixed..... With a little bit of final fantasy... Have a great day
Sorry.. I meant silent hill lol
OHH YESSSS
This game is kinda hard to understand but very entertained.
yeah, I'm a bit overwhelmed, but getting there !
@@LIZZgame good luck!
Please, don't abuse saves. The game is made this way so there's a weight to your decisions. At first it may be a bit tough, but later in the game you can brew savior shnaps with ease using alchemy, so saving will not be an issue at all. Also the game saves automatically when you sleep in your bed and quit the game, and at certain checkpoints during quests
P.S. there's almost always multiple solutions to the quests, so if you fail one, you can still try other methods and don't need to revert the latest save 🙈
Is the storytelling in this game series better than Witcher 3s ? Cause I’m looking to get into another dialogue combat heavy RPG after I’m done
What mod did you use so you can save? Im new to PC gaming and I want to play this but I want to be able to save anytime, I have a very limited amount of time I can play and I don't want to redo long sections of the game.
This one

Just bought this game, search your gameplay for dishonored and looked on your channel to see whats the newest thing amd its kcd? Why this always happens to me, i buy game, TH-camr i know plays it. Its crazy, like, wow
never played this game, but common sense says if you lure his wife away you'd become suspect number one for throwing crap on the house and get punished by law, no?
Hey Lizz.
Was ich definitiv begrüße.
looks interesting and pretty, but weirdly complicated
Lizz...... I gotta teach you how to fight. 😅😅
I already taught myself :)
Slow ahh reader 😂😂😂 jkjk
This game was special when it first came out…doesn’t have the replay ability that RPGs tend to have but the initial playthrough is perfect! No hand holding , difficult combat, and great story.
Is this the pc version ? Is there much differance between pc vs console ?
This is on PC.
I don't know about the console versions.
👍
Too bad you took the mod. The alchemy system in this game is the best ive ever seen but not needing to use it to brew saviour schnapps means lots of peeps miss out😢
Got it free on Epic, been there for years now. Maybe it's time to play it?
yea same! Got the game for free on Epic ages ago, and now with the sequel drawing closer, I figured it's a good time to play it hehe
Such a great game this and RDR2 have ruined many open world games for me with How alive they are. Can not wait for KCD2 and GTA6.
I was momentarily _super confused_ and like, "uh, pass," until I realized it said "Kingdom _Come,"_ not "Kingdom _Hearts."_ 🤦♂😂
yeah Kingdom Hearts is not a game for me haha
I hate the lock picking with the most passion
Chicken Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuunch!!!!!!! xD
The only problem i have with this game and company is they still reluctantly to release a next console update to performance mode. Thats why i don't play it.
